LEVEL: MACHU PICCHU CAVE

Underwater Business

Once you get the control of Lara swim through the W underwater passage and take a breath in the next cave; now swim through the next UW passage (at the very bottom, NE corner), open the UW door with your hands and swim back if you want to replenish the air bar; swim back to the opening with the now open door and continue to the last UW cave where you'll find an UW lever just above the entrance, pull it and swim back to the room with the UW bridge. Finally dive under the bridge and look for 2 UW levers to pull (NW and SW corners) to open the UW doors at one end of the bridge, swim there and continue through the UW passage with arches until you can surface. Pick up a small medipack before entering in the next large room.

Movable Cages Puzzle

Explore the bottom of this room to find four switches over water holes, there are also four movable cages, one of them next to the entrance and three more on the upper E and W ledges. Your goal here is throw the cages into the water holes so you can pull all four switches; to do this, first you'll need to throw the cages on the high W and E ledges onto the bottom floor: move them all the way to the very S sides of the ledges. One of the cages is on a trapdoor near the NW corner, take a running jump onto it, onto the N ledge and left to the very NW corner behind the pillar to find the hard-to-see switch which lowers the trapdoor. Once all four switches are pulled the gates at the top of the S ramp open, run up the ramp and don't forget the small medipack in the left side next to the rocky columns before exiting.

The Escape

Watch the cutscene and once Lara wakes up run/sprint as fast as you can to the very starting room of this level before all collapses, get out of the water in the right side (W) and continue to the outside area with the Quad; mount it and drive trying to not touch the barrels (or you'll see what happens) and using the sprint key when necessary (in the area with the three pits in a row jump with boost the first one from the left side and the next ones from the right sides) until you eventually find a pit you can't jump with the quad; drop, climb from the other side and advance to the cataract area. After the cutscene fight with the enemies (only with the pistols!) and once they are defeated watch the final cutscene (working on a keyboard with gloves?) to finish this demo.
