LEVEL 1 – ESCAPE FROM METEORITE CAVERN

 

Going Up

Go E and take a running jump to grab one of the ladders, climb up and to get a secret run/jump all around over the statues to the W side and take a running jump to grab the crack in the left side of the W crawlspace, shimmy right and go through that crawlspace to find the SECRET #1: the Revolver with the lasersight, a small medipack, revolver ammo, a large medipack, meteorite fragments and flares. Go back outside and climb one of the ladders again, go through the crawlspace near the entrance of the opening, use the monkeyswing at the end, take a running jump NW to grab the next rock, jump to grab the upper ledge, go S, take another running jump to the W rock and climb twice to exit the cave.

 

Going Down

Follow the only possible path until you find signs of civilization, to get a secret drop down to the very bottom and go behind the face to pull a switch; exit and find a crack in the W wall, grab it, jump to grab the crack above, shimmy right and jump back onto the snowy ledge. Climb the ledge in the W wall, take a running jump NW to grab the snowy rock at the other side, take a running jump to the S ledge and a last running jump to the opening with the SECRET #2: a large medipack, meteorite fragments and 2 X shotgun shells. Take a running jump back to the previous ledge, another running jump SE to the lower rocks and a last jump to the high platform. There’s a rock blocking the way, press “Ctrl” (I had to take a step back) to clear the way, pick up the large medipack and safely slide from the top of the ramp.

 

More Secrets

Once at the bottom climb the block and take a running jump over the fence, pick up the large medipack, advance, shoot the soldiers and go through the W passage. Press the button to open the door to your left, go through the crawlspace and fall into the water; surface and advance a bit to find the Mercenaries Note next to the dead soldier, press the button to open a trapdoor in the water area and swim there. To get a secret, light a flare and at middle way of the underwater passage (S wall) look for a part of the metal panel corroded by moisture, swim through to get the SECRET #3: the Shotgun, meteorite fragments and 6 X shotgun shells. Pull the switch at the end of the underwater passage to open a door in the previous room, swim back there, shoot the mutant, pick up the large medipack and the flares, go through the crawlspace and jump into the water hole, swim to a room with a mutant; don’t enter yet but from the previous tile light a flare to scare him, then swim into the room and get the SECRET #4: 30 X grenades, meteorite fragments and the Blue Star Escape Key; swim back to the previous room, use the key to open the door and exit to the area where you shot the soldiers.

 

Exiting the Level

This time take the S passage between the buildings, shoot the soldiers and pick up the Silver Key one of them drops, climb the crates to get a large and small medipacks and take an angled standing jump NE to grab the edge of the bridge with the electronic devices, shimmy around the corner and pull the jumpswitch to open a nearby door with the SECRET #5: 6 X shotgun shells, meteorite fragments, a rocket and 30 X HK ammo. Use the key on the nearby keyhole and after the cutscene pick up the Telegram for Willard and the Helicopter Key; explore this area to find 12 X desert eagle ammo, a small medipack and flares, climb the platform with the chopper to finish the level.

 

 

LEVEL 2 – HIGHLAND FLING

 

Reaching the Boat

Go left and look for an opening in the W wall to get a large medipack; exit and from the top of the block take a running jump to grab the SE ledge, from here take another running jump to grab the edge of the high N ledge, pull the switch to lower a block somewhere and get a large medipack and 6 X shotgun shells. Drop down and approach to the wall with the metallic bars, climb it, shoot the guard from here if you can, take a standing jump to the top of the NE wall, a running jump to the E ledge, another running jump to the slope in the corner, slide/jump and grab the edge of the ledge in the NE corner; climb the triangular block and pull the switch to raise a block at your back in case you fall to the bottom. Continue jumping onto the W slope, slide/jump to grab the edge of the W ledge, pull up, go right and take a running jump to grab the edge of the N pillar; jump onto the NW pillar, use the monkeyswing to reach the W battlements, jump to the opening in the S wall and continue running/jumping counterclockwise to get the SECRET #6: meteorite fragments, 18 X shotgun shells and another shotgun; jump into the water below and swim N and E to find the boat.

 

Exploring the Main Lake

Mount the boat and swim W and N over the wooden ramp, make a short stop if you want to pick up 10 X harpoons and flares in the E pier, and continue driving over a second wooden ramp. After the flyby park the boat in the pier to your left and let’s explore the bottom of the lake first; jump into the water and lure the barracudas so you can shoot them from the pier, swim N and a bit to your right to get 6 X shotgun shells, a large medipack and 10 X harpoons; from this position swim a bit N and locate a triangular opening in the base of the central island, swim through, pick up 2 X rockets, pull the underwater lever, exit and swim left/left to find the place where the block lowered and get the SECRET #7: 20 X grenades and meteorite fragments.

 

Now swim E around the central island to find a hole in the floor, swim through to find another lake area. Pick up 6 X shotgun shells, flares and a small medipack at the bottom, climb up the ladder above the entrance (yes, you can grab a ladder from the water), shoot the barracuda and take a running jump SW onto the floating crate, take another running jump to the opening in the S wall, run up the steps, take a running jump N to grab the crack in the pillar, jump up to the top and take a standing jump NW to land onto the ledge below, pull the switch, jump into the water and swim all the way back to the pier where you parked the boat.

 

This time run up the ramp and go through the opening in the W wall. To get the next secret run up the next ramp a bit, turn around and take a running jump onto the SE rocks near the corner, now take a standing jump to grab the shield above the entrance (jumpswitch), go through the opening in the NE corner and drop through the hole to find the SECRET #8: the Uzis, 60 X uzi bullets and meteorite fragments. Climb up and take the E passage to the very end, go left through the crawlspace, hang from the other side and jump to grab the monkeyswing above, cross to the other side, drop onto the small balcony, go through the next crawlspace and pull the switch in the niche to open the nearby door; use the ropes to reach the far ledge attached to the pillar and go through one more crawlspace to get the SECRET #9: the Crossbow, 30 X crossbow arrows and meteorite fragments. To get extra pickups jump to the central island to find 18 X shotgun shells. Jump into the water and go all the way back to the room where you got the secret 8.

 

Laborious Secrets

Take the E passage again but this time go right, at the end of the path use the ropes to reach the far ledge attached to the pillar, use the zip-line to land onto the area with the crow, climb the block from the back side using the crack and take a running jump to the SE ledge with the pink crystal. Use the crystal to get a hint about the next path to follow, pick up a Torch and follow that path to get back to the pier with the boat (at middle way you can climb a block to get flares and a small medipack). Run up the first ramp and in the area with the shield-jumpswitch throw the torch and go through the passage to the left of the ramp; jump from ledge to ledge clockwise to reach the passage in the NE corner and pull the floor lever to open a door in the W wall, go there and pull only the wall switches in the W and S walls to open doors somewhere, then pull the floor lever to raise another door and open the ceiling trapdoor in this room. Use the ladder to climb to the room above, exit E, shoot the guard and go S to the room with the shield-jumpswitch, retrieve the torch and go back to the room with the open trapdoor to light it, shoot a hound dog and go back to the hub room where you shot the last guard; take the N passage behind the waterfall (from the left side, or the waterfall will extinguish the torch, great!), light the wall sconce to open the door and get the SECRET #10: 3 X rockets, a large medipack, meteorite fragments, 10 X grenades and 6 X shotgun shells.

 

To get an extra secret go back to the room where you lightened the torch, drop down through the hole with the open trapdoor, pull the floor lever to close the trapdoor and the entrance door (and open a grate too), go back up to the room where you shot the guard and situate Lara in the E side facing the closed door, then sprint towards the door and use the “walk” key in last moment so Lara slides under the closed door; look for a crawlspace in the N wall to get the SECRET #11: 3 X rockets and meteorite fragments.

 

Area with the First Cannon

Anyway, from the hub room where you shot the guard take the E passage this time, exit S and go left and around the corner; from the highest part of this wooden ledge take a running jump to grab the edge of the NE wall, pull up and in this area with many crates climb the ledge with the cannon, use it to break the door in the far E building (and kill a guard too), release the cannon with the same keys you use to get out of the boat, drop down, shoot a guard, advance E, shoot another guard and a crow and just before the area with the ramp climb the N and S ledges to find crawlspaces with levers to pull (in one of the there are flares, 10 X harpoons and a small medipack too); once both are pulled, doors open in the left and right sides of the ramp.

 

The Celtic Sword

Run down the steps and take a running jump to grab the N ledge, pull the switch and take a running jump S with grab to land into the opening above the ladder, safely climb down to the bottom, roll and go through the opening you saw in the flyby (N wall). Take a standing jump onto the ledge in the left side, between the crates, and another one (with grab) to the niche with the switch, pull it to open a door below, time the moving blades to drop and go to the E room where you can get the Celtic Sword; time the blades again, climb up the ladder and exit.

 

The Skull Key

Now advance in a NW direction and climb the niche in the N wall with the yellow skull above. Pull the timed switch and sprint SW and E, take a running jump from the gray rocks to the left of the ladder to grab a crack in the E wall and jump up to the opening with the timed door; shoot the small box to get the Skull Key.

 

First Thistle Stone

Drop down to ground floor, advance W a bit and climb up the ladder to your left, jump over the hole, pick up the large medipack, grab the monkeyswing and go to your right (W), when you are near the opening (don’t go to the very end against the wall) use the “Jump” key to land into it, take a running jump to land onto the lower ledge with the shield, use the sword to lower the block above, climb the pillar, pull the floor lever, take a running jump to the previous opening and use the zip-line to go down. Go down either stairs and pull the timed switch behind the pillar to raise a trapdoor at your back, quickly jump onto the slopes back/forth/back and take a running jump to grab the edge of the sloped pillar, pull up, slide and jump onto the W ledge (there is a niche with ammo under this ledge, to get there jump onto one of the left or right slopes, slide backwards, grab the edge and shimmy right of left around the corner to get 12 X shotgun shells. Jump onto the E sloped pillar and jump again to land onto the ledge). Again, take a running jump to the top of the next pillar and a last jump onto the high ledge to get the first Thistle Stone; make your way to safely drop to ground floor and exit to the lake area.

 

Second Thistle Stone

Go right (N) and left to climb up the same ladder again; this time monkeyswing S to the very end, climb up the ladder and jump back to find yourself in the area with many crates. Run up the E ramp this time and go left, take a running jump to grab the N ledge, advance and use the skull key to open the door; enter, pull the timed switch, exit, run/jump S over two gaps and when you reach the pentagonal opening with the red vines in the right side take an angled standing jump to grab them, climb up almost to the top, take a backflip with twist and sprint N to take a final running jump over a last gap, grab the edge of the high ledge with the opening and enter to get the second Thistle Stone.

 

Another Laborious Secret

Go all the way back to the S side, jump to grab the red vines again, climb down to the very bottom, take a running jump to the NE triangular ledge, turn around and take a last standing jump with grab to land onto a lower ledge with a switch; pull it to lower a block somewhere. Now take a standing jump to grab the NE ledge and run and jump counterclockwise to get back on the ledge with the vines you came from, continue around the corner, jump onto the S rocks and even higher onto the grassy part in the SE corner; climb the block and take a standing jump to grab the ledge with the floor lever, pull it to turn off the fire in a recess (building to your left), drop down and go back to the ledge with the vines, climb up again but this time at half way shimmy left around the corner to the pentagonal opening, now take a running jump onto the sloped roof NW, slide/grab the edge and shimmy left until you can pull up into the niche to get the SECRET #12: meteorite fragments and 3 X rockets. To get back drop/grab the edge, drop/grab the crawlspace below and shimmy left to the area with many crates.

 

Opening with the Blue Skull

Run up the ramp again, go S and take a running jump to the pentagonal opening with the vines; this time continue S, run down the stairs and go right to a small area with a pool. Jump into the water to get 30 X uzi clips, 6 X shotgun shells and a large medipack, climb up the W ladder and pull the switch in the right side of the building, jump back to the E side of the pool and go through the now accessible crawlspace in the corner to get the SECRET #13: meteorite fragments, a shotgun and 12 X shotgun shells. Exit and jump to climb the ledge over this crawlspace, shoot the guard and pull the timed switch to open one of the doors at the top of the ramp you came from, so jump over the slope, run up the stairs N to the pentagonal opening, take a running jump to the central ledge and go right through the opening with the blue skull above.

 

Shoot the guards and pick up a small medipack on the nearby crate, climb the big crate in the N side and take a running jump to grab the edge of the high E ledge, pull the floor lever and go to the area with the dead guards to find the open door; enter and go through the E opening to get flares a large medipack and a small medipack; now go S, E to the area with the pink crystal and N to the end, from the block take a running jump N to reach the high ledge with the fake doors, turn left, take a standing jump to grab the red vines, climb up, jump back and shoot the guard. To get a secret later grab the cannon and shoot a brown rock in the far S side of this area; now drop down to ground floor and advance S stepping onto the five blocks with the circle texture at the top to lower a block (don’t touch the floor), continue running/jumping S to the corner where the brown rock was to get the SECRET #14: meteorite fragments and 3 X rockets.

 

The Swamp

Go out of the hole, take a running jump to grab the ladder, climb up to the top, turn left and take a running jump to the top of the next pillar, turn left and take another running jump to the flat part of the S rocks, jump onto the left side of the slope, jump with a left curve onto the next slope and take a last jump onto the small block in the swamp; from here take a running jump N-NW around the higher pillar falling into the swamp, advance under the arch and finally climb the opening to your left; cross the corridor and pull the obvious switch at the end to open the exit door.

 

Third Thistle Stone

Exit and shoot the guard who’s on the tall pillar to your left; if you approach to the NW corner two hound dogs will attack; anyway climb the block in the SE corner, take a running jump NE to the grassy part of the rocks, continue around the block with the dead guard, jump onto the lower block, take a standing jump to grab the horizontal pole with the flag and swing to land onto the W ledge. Pull the switch to raise a trapdoor and a grate in the roof where you came from, take a running jump back onto the lower block, jump to grab the raised trapdoor and take a last jump to the roof with the raised grate. Go through the crawlspace and jump onto the NW ledge, pull the floor lever, take a standing jump to grab the monkeyswing, swing in N direction, drop/grab the crack in the wall, shimmy right, pull up and climb the bridge to your left. Advance S and take a running jump to the top of the central arch, another running jump to the E platform, take a running jump N-NW onto the sloped ledge, jump onto the E ledge and run up the steps to get the third Thistle Stone.

 

Go back to the previous platform and take a running jump E to the platform with the floor lever; pull it to raise a door somewhere and to get the next secret take a tricky running jump SE with a hard right curve to grab the edge of the balcony and pick up the SECRET #15: meteorite fragments. Take a running jump back to the platform with the floor lever, another running jump back to the W platform, a third running jump to the top of the arch and slide W to the opening where the door opened; drop down to bottom floor and continue up the N stairs to the room at the top of the ramp and the openings with the skulls above.

 

Opening with the White Skull

Take a running jump to grab the N platform and a standing jump onto the E ledge with the switch and the white skull above, there’s not a clock here but this switch is timed; pull it, jump to the previous platform, take a running jump to the S platform and run through the opening with the white skull above. Shoot the guard, pick up the large medipack on the wooden crate and move the other crate in front of the opening with the closed door so you can reach the high opening without grate; jump into the water, climb the opening in the SW corner, take a standing jump W-NW to grab the edge of the opening with the small medipack and the flares, from here take a curved running jump to the N ledge with 10 X grenades and flares, and finally take a standing jump NE to grab the edge of the high ledge/crawlspace, drop, pull the floor lever and go back to the previous area where the bars lowered (there’s an alternative and easier way without pickups if you climb the opening in the SE corner, jump onto the block in the water and shimmy left…).

 

Courtyard with the Receptacles

In the next room there are four receptacles to place the thistles but you only have three, so use the pink crystal to have a hint for the route to get the last one. Locate the crack in the W wall so you can climb up to the upper niche, roll, take a running jump to grab the E ledge and climb higher to the top of the arch, pull the floor lever to lower bars in the NE corner of this room, drop down to ground floor and go there. Follow the path to the top of the stairs killing a hound dog on your way up; pick up the small medipack and go through the N opening, slide down the ramp and advance SW to the next room.

 

Room with the Goo Pit

Climb the ledge in the N side and use the monkeyswing to cross over the deadly pit and reach the S opening (use the “Jump” key at the end), time the rotating blades and take a running jump over the next pit, run up the steps, shoot the guard and the crows and continue up the next stairs; take a running jump to grab the E ledge, a standing jump to grab the horizontal pole and swing to the ledge with the floor lever; pull it, drop onto the bridge, continue S where the door opened and in the next room pull only the safe switches (the ones without the skeletons), go through the NE opening and jump back and forth onto the slope to reach the high opening with the open door; pull the floor lever to open a door in the N side of the bridge and go there.

 

Detour for a secret: from the bridge take a running jump to the E sloped ledge with the shield, pull it (jumpswitch) to reveal a crawlspace in the NE corner; go there and cross to the other side, climb the diagonal wall just to the left of the entrance, jump W, drop/grab the edge and shimmy left to get the SECRET #16: 10 X grenades and meteorite fragments; drop down and in the S side of this corridor pick up a large medipack, 6 X shotgun shells and 6 X desert eagle bullets. Go back to the bridge the way you came and through the N opening with the open door.

 

Fourth Thistle Stone

Climb up the ladder to your left, take a running jump to grab the NE ledge and a final standing jump with grab to the niche in the corner with the switch; pull it to raise a door somewhere, take a standing jump to grab the crack, jump up to grab the edge of the roof and shimmy left around the corner to get back on the previous ledge. Turn around and take a standing jump SW to grab the upper ledge, pull up, shoot the guard, take a running jump onto the SW ledge to get a small medipack and flares, jump back to the ledge with the dead guard and jump to grab the crack in the diagonal wall (E side), shimmy right and around the corner, pull up, advance S to the end, shoot the crow, take a standing jump SW to grab the upper ledge and pull the floor lever to trigger something; finally jump onto the nearby ledge to get the last Thistle Stone.

 

The Blue Star key

Now make your way to go down to the ledge with the dead guard, go outside (N) and continue jumping from ledge to ledge in a E direction until you reach a “V” ledge below near the corner, drop onto it, drop even lower and pull the switch under the closed door to open it. Roll, approach to the swamp (note the wall sconce in the pillar to your left, for later) and take a running jump to the N rock at the other side of the swamp, jump to grab the crack in the diagonal wall, jump higher to the ledge above, take a running jump to the S ledge near the corner and a final jump to the “V” ledge where you came from. Jump to grab the monkeyswing and cross to the opening with the open door, go left or right and pull the switch to open the doors. In this area go S and shoot the small boxes to clear the way, now push the crate into the water, shoot the hound dogs, drop into the now floating crate and take a running jump to the E ledge with the triangular opening to get the Blue Star Key; don’t forget to pull the nearby switch and go back to the lake.

 

The Loch Ness Monster

Jump onto the block you raised with the switch and jump again onto the W rocks; locate the closed door with the keyhole to your left and open it. Pull the switch to raise a block under your feet and in the platform above grab the cannon and shoot a door blocking an opening down in a SW direction, safely drop down using the slopes in the rocks, go there and pick up a Torch. Exit, go N up the stairs and right near the place where you used the key to light the torch, approach to the E lake area and from the left side take a running jump to the opening in the N wall. Advance N, through either opening to the swamp area, drop down and light the wall sconce behind the pillar to your left: the loch Ness monster appears; jump into the water hole the camera showed, beware of the barracudas and follow the only possible path until you can surface.

 

Exiting the Level

In the next lake area jump into the water to cross to the other side, shoot the barracudas if you want, pick up the small medipack and jump into the water where the monster is; follow the only possible way to finally surface in a room with a large medipack and the SECRET #17: 3 X rockets, meteorite fragments and the Rocket Launcher; shoot the guard, press the button to open the exit door, advance, run up the stairs, shoot the hound dog, jump into the water hole, pull the underwater lever at the end of the path to open the door and continue swimming to find yourself back in the room with the floating crate. Climb the S ladder so you can jump back onto the top of the raised block, jump to the W rocks and run S down the stairs to the room with the receptacles for the thistles; place them to raise the last gate and enter to finish this long and complex level.

 

 

LEVEL 3 – WILLARD’S LAIR

 

The Blue Star Key

Slide down the ramp and quickly jump into the opening, slide down the next ramp and jump in last moment to land onto the E rocks, continue through the opening in front of you, drop through the hole, slide and in the next corridor pick up the Blue Star Key; exit this passage, drop down onto the rocks below and take a running jump to land onto the bridge, run off the SW edge, walk a bit and take a running jump to the rocks at the other side (E), go through the broken wall, up the ramp avoiding the rolling boulder and pick up the SECRET #18: meteorite fragments, 60 X HK ammo and the HK Gun. Pull the switch to open the door and safely slide to the floor. To get another secret go N up the ramp, light a flare and go through the opening to your right to find the keyhole for the blue star key, use the key, go back to the ramp, down S a bit and take the first passage to your left, drop into the water to get the SECRET #19: meteorite fragments, 30 X grenades and the Grenade Launcher. Back to the ramp, run S to the end, avoid another rolling boulder and go up the dark passage it came from to get a small medipack.

 

Path of Traps

From the edge of the pit take a running jump onto the central “island”, another running jump to the top of the S ledge (right side) with the opening below, shimmy left, pull up and pick up 12 X shotgun shells and 6 X desert eagle bullets; drop down and explore this area to find 6 X desert eagle bullets. Enter the S opening, avoid the traps and pull the switch to open the door but immediately take a sidejump left. In the next room go up the ramp to your left and don’t worry about the inactive rolling boulder, but when you go down the next ramp sprint and go left or right at the end to avoid a second rolling boulder; pull the floor lever and go back to the previous room, this time with the first rolling boulder on your heels.

 

Room with many Rolling Boulders

In the next room there are a lot of rolling boulders ready to crush you; your goal here is to reach an opening in the SW corner avoiding to be smashed. Not difficult at all, but if you want to get the next secret advance S and left (E) to keep you safe behind the pillar next to the E wall, climb it, grab the crack in the central pillar, shimmy left around two corners and finally take a running jump SW to the flat ledge with the SECRET #20: meteorite fragments. Now jump onto the sloped roof, slide/grab the edge and shimmy left to drop in front of that opening in the SW corner.

 

Moving Spiked Walls

Enter and quickly go left to avoid another rolling boulder, run up the stairs and go through the opening in the SE corner; don’t slide but grab the monkeyswing and advance to a niche at the end to get the SECRET #21: meteorite fragments, a rocket and 10 X grenades. Drop down and pull the switch in the corner to your right to open a door somewhere; go through the N crawlspace, pull a floor lever to raise a grate in the same room with the open door and pick up 6 X shotgun shells, flares and a small medipack. Back into the previous room climb the S wall from the right side and if you are fast pick up 12 X desert eagle bullets in the corner, if not, quickly climb the next wall, take a U-turn and crouch/climb down to the previous room to avoid a second moving spiked wall.

 

More Spiked Platforms

Go back up to the room with that second trap and if you pulled the last floor lever go through the crawlspace in the left side and when you can stand up turn left, jump to grab the ledge in the NW corner and jump back to grab the S ledge; pull up and drop into the next pit from the very left side (white block in the corner), take refuge in the N side where the switch is, pull it and when the moving spiked ceiling stops duck and crawl in the corner to reach the safe part of the floor, jump to grab the crack, jump back onto the white block and jump over the pit to the S ledge with the open door. If you want you can drop into the next pit to get 12 X shotgun shells and 6 X desert eagle bullets, but quickly climb back to the previous ledge (another moving spiked ceiling). Finally jump onto the W wall, take a running jump to the next ledge and get the SECRET #22: meteorite fragments, a large medipack, 3 X rockets and another Rocket Launcher. Now take a running jump W (no grab, from the right side), go left, climb the wall, wait for the moving spiked platform and when it stops take a running jump to the crawlspace in the opposite wall and drop through the other side.

 

Courtyard with Horse Statues

Shoot the crow, forget the spiked passage and climb the white wall in front of you with the horse statue at its top, jump SE over the grate, shoot the guard from here and take a running jump to the N ledge with the large medipack. If you want an extra pickup, you can take a curved running jump with grab onto the S crate with the small medipack and go back to this ledge jumping to the block in the corner and up to the ledge with the spikes (you can walk through them), but in this case you’ll need to shoot another crow. Anyway jump to the area with the hound dog, shoot a crow, beware of the falling debris and pull the switch in the N wall to lower a timed block in the corner, go there, up the stairs and the ramp, jump to the next ledge, to the ledge with the dog statue, run up the stairs to your left and pull the floor lever; don’t forget the large medipack and go back down to the ledge with the dog statue, take a running jump to the N ledge, another running jump to the W ledge, another running jump to the SW ledge and a last running jump to the ledge between the horse statues; then go through the W passage where the door opened.

 

The Library

Run up the stairs, pick up the large medipack and 6 X shotgun shells, draw pistols and shoot to get the guard’s attention, he will open the door so shoot it and enter the new room. From the first floor shoot all the guards below; go all around clockwise to the place where the first guard was to get 12 X shotgun shells and 6 X desert eagle bullets, now go down to explore the library area and get 6 X shotgun shells, flares, a large medipack and the Cairn Key (well visible on the central raised floor).

 

For a secret: go to the SW corner and pull the central wooden crate out and aside to reveal a room with the SECRET #23: meteorite fragments plus 2 X uzi clips.

 

Now exit and go to the W part of the library, pull the book-switch, go S to pull another book-switch, go W and N to pull a third book-switch, continue N to pull another book-switch and N again to find a last book-switch: the camera shows a rotated bookcase in the S side of this area, so go there to pull another book-switch and get access to a new area.

 

First Ending

Run up the wooden ramp, shoot the hound dog and go to the W side, shoot a second hound dog and pull the switch under the arch at the very end to lower bars somewhere; then go back a bit, take a running jump to the safe S ledge, shoot another hound dog and run up the stairs to the top, turn right, take a running jump to grab the N ledge, go left through the crawlspace where the bars lowered and continue towards the W opening at the top of the stairs to finish the level.

 

Second Ending

Run up the wooden ramp, shoot the hound dog, go a bit left, ignore the W area and take a running jump N to the safe ledge at the other side of the goo, go around the pillar to the NE side (just in front of the entrance), jump onto the safe rocks, pick up the large medipack in the niche to your left and go through the opening in the NE corner; go to the back of this new room, climb the block in the corner, go left, grab the edge of the opening above (don't pull up), jump back with a right curve to land onto the top of the sloped pillar and jump twice (back and forth from the slope at your back) to grab the edge of the high ledge, pull up, go outside and shoot a bunch of Scottish warriors, approach to the W closed door and press the "Action" key to interact with the wall below it: the door opens, so climb the opening and get the SECRET #24: meteorite fragments, the Desert Eagle, 6 X desert eagle bullets and a large medipack; advance through this passage to finish the level.

 

 

BONUS LEVEL – FINDER'S KHEPERS

 

West Passage (Left Opening)

Pick up the flares and climb the block left from the entrance to get a large medipack; from the top of this block go S through the crawlspace, grab the monkeyswing and turn right at the end of it, use the “Alt” key to drop onto the steps below, advance N, pick up the Kheper Stone (scarab) and pull the floor lever to deactivate spikes so you can go back to the main room.

 

West Passage (Right Opening)

Advance and go left, take a running jump over the pit, jump into the water and climb up the S wide ladder from the right side, take a jump back with twist to grab the edge of the ledge at your back, pull up, use the monkeyswing to cross to the E side, continue with the next monkeyswing in N direction and finally drop onto a ledge to your right to pull a floor lever. Go back down W, climb up N, and don’t go to the hub room but turn left to take a running jump over the W pit; time the spikes in the next passage (go left or right to avoid the fires) and in the junction go left. In this room turn around at the entrance, jump up to grab the upper ledge, pull up, pull the switch and go back to the corridor with the spikes. This time go NE and pull the floor lever at the end to raise a nearby door; go there, time the next spikes and don’t drop down into the pit but continue through the S passage and pull another floor lever to open trapdoors somewhere. Exit and go always right when possible timing the spikes to find the open trapdoors, drop into the hole and move the pedestal with the scarab onto the patterned tile to raise trapdoors so you can cross the spiked pit and pull the floor lever to activate the hammer and get the second Kheper Stone. Make your way to go back to the main room with the pyramid the way you came.

 

East Passage (Right Opening)

Jump into the pool and swim W, continue straight ahead at the junction and swim up in the hub room to take a breath. Now swim through the E underwater passage, get out of the water and drop down through the E hole (climb down the ladder), take refuge into the N niche and time the spikes to sprint S and climb the opening at the other side of this room. Pull the switch to open the door and go to the S room. Step only onto the tiles marked in the wall to open the E door (don’t drop down onto the floor). In the next room push the pedestal with the scarab S three times onto the marked tile to activate the spikes in the N crawlspace. Go there and time the spikes to cross to the next room (use the “Sprint” key to cross or you’ll never get it). Now face N and situate Lara against the left corner of the N sloped pillar, jump back and forth with a hard right curve onto the S slope to grab the edge of the N sloped pillar, pull up, jump with twist to grab the edge of the S crawlspace and go through. In the next room go right through another crawlspace, again through another crawlspace, go left and finally pull a floor lever to open a nearby trapdoor; drop down and pick up the third Kheper Stone. Go back down to the main room.

 

East Passage (Left Opening)

To reach the high opening above the E wall approach to the NE corner, jump to grab the crack, shimmy right and jump up from the corner; advance through the dark crawlspace and soon you’ll find a “hub” room with a small scorpion, continue S and left, pull the switch to deactivate spikes in the passage to your left; back to the hub room go through the opening above the torch and pull another switch to deactivate spikes in the hub room, go back there, up to the S crawlspace, shoot the small scorpions and continue S and E, up the steps and pull the floor lever; go back to the entrance of this area and from the block in the NW corner take a running jump to grab the high S opening, don’t jump onto the bridge (spikes), but drop/grab the edge, shimmy right and from the crack take a jump back with twist to grab the edge of the slope in the corner, then shimmy all the way left until you can drop onto a safe floor. Take a running jump onto the E block and go left/left over the pit, take a running jump to grab the crack in the E wall, jump up, pick up the large medipack, note the closed door and take a running jump to grab the N opening, drop down and take a running jump E over the spiked tiles, advance and soon you’ll find a jumpswitch to pull, time the next spikes to cross to the opposite side and jump back and forth onto the slope to grab the edge of the upper ledge; again, take a running jump to grab the crack in the E wall, jump up and this time go through the opening in the corner, slide down the ramp backwards and take a running jump E onto a lower ledge, continue running/jumping clockwise until you reach the ledge with the last Kheper Stone.

 

Ending the Adventure

Pick it up and after the cutscene shoot the… demigod? (a single rocket will be enough) and exit N; follow the path (not hard) picking up a large medipack on your way until you find a floor lever and get access to a library area. To get the last secret of this adventure advance N and from the central statue turn left to find a button behind the stone statue next to the pillar, press it, climb up the raised block, jump up to grab the edge of the hole in the ceiling, jump into the water and swim all around in a clockwise direction to get the SECRET #25: meteorite fragments. Swim back to the library, exit N up the red stairs, press the button at the top and enter the mansion to finish this fantastic adventure.
