LEVEL 1 – LARA CROFT IS COMING TO TOWN
Secrets (6)
Outside Pickups
Advance until you find the small village (poster of the North Pole) and shoot the small Santa on the rock to your left to get the SECRET #1. Run down the stairs and to get an extra pickup go left, climb the crate, jump over the metallic fence and run all the way to the W end to get flares; retrace your steps a bit, climb the crate, jump over the fence back to the main area, shoot the nearby wooden box and pick up coal shooter ammo (explosive ammo); continue to the street and open the double doors of the first building to your left.
The Bar
Enter the bar and go left to the restroom, pick up the flares, go outside and approach the bar counter to talk to the waiter; after the conversation shoot the mercenaries, pick up the uzi clips and the large medipack they dropped, turn around and go to the left side of the bar counter to get the Unknown Keys.
Detour for a secret: go back to the street, go E and to the last house in the left side to use these last keys, enter and explore this room to get flares, a large medipack and the SECRET #2 in the bathroom of the bedroom after shooting a mercenary. Go back to the bar.
The Bell Tower key
Go to the opening in the SW corner, pick up the small medipack and run up the stairs, turn left at the top and press the button to open the trapdoor at the top of the ladder, climb up to the upper floor, press the button to open a trapdoor somewhere, go to the back of the room (note the keyhole, for later), shoot the box and pick up the Pliers. Go back down to the floor with the balustrades and run all around counterclockwise to find the trapdoor you opened moments ago; climb up the ladder and cut the chain with the pliers; go to the N balcony and look for the next Santa behind the pedestal with the flowerpot to get the SECRET #3. Now go all the way back down to the bar and pick up the Bell Tower key near the fallen chandelier.
The Bell Tower
Now go back up to the room where you got the pliers and use the key to open a trapdoor in the adjacent room; go back to the room with the broken chain and climb up the ladder to the bell tower. Don’t use the zip-line yet, but turn around, jump and shoot the bell to reveal a floor trapdoor in the bar; also explore this area to get coal shooter ammo and the Chapel Key. The camera will show you where to use the key. Now you can use the zip-line to land onto the roof of the N building and jump onto the balcony with the awning on the left side, shoot the wooden box and pick up the Bakery Key. Safely drop down to the ground and use this key to open the door of the bakery.
The Bakery
Enter and go behind the counter to get the Breadcrumbs, open the door in the corner and go up the stairs to a room with a pool table. Push the table with the small tree to reveal the number 12 on the wall under the lamp; explore the remaining walls to find the numbers 3, 6 and 9. If you situate Lara in the S side of the room, facing N, note that the four numbers are arranged as if they were on a clock: the 12 in front of you, the 6 at your back, the 3 to your right and the 9 to your left; then look to the pool table and look where the pool cues are pointing, as if they were the hands of a clock: the time they indicate is 12:40, and that is the code you should use in the keypad to open the trapdoor at the top of the ladder; once in the attic, pick up the Library Key on the dresser and a small medipack in the bathroom. Go back down and outside to the main courtyard with the frozen fountain.
The Wine Cellar
Enter the bar again and open the floor trapdoor next to the pool table, climb down the ladder to find the wine cellar, shoot a rat and go to the back side of the room to get the Bottle of Wine. Go back up outside and to the main street. Head E, up the stairs and back towards the North Pole sign and use the Chapel Key on the padlocked gate.
The Chapel
Go all around the chapel to find a Santa to shoot on the N side and get SECRET #4. Enter the chapel and watch the cutscene. Go behind that block on the E side to discover a jump switch; ontop of the block are some Torches. Note these for later. Save the game (switch is timed), pull it and quickly run to the back side of the W block, climb it and take a running jump to grab the high ladder, climb up to the room above before the trapdoor closes. Press the button to re-open the trapdoor and pick up the flares. On the table you’ll find the Crowbar; to which a camera will show you a manhole where it can be used. Also pickup the Big Chunky Book; examine it to know what you need to confront for the next tasks. You need to find 3 items, 2 of which you may already have if you have been following this guide. Climb back down and leave the chapel.
The Sewers
Head back W towards the square with the frozen fountain. Go N and to the back of the house with the short stairs and balustrade; when reaching the junction turn left and find the manhole cover in the narrow backstreet, open it with the crowbar and climb down the ladder. The button in the niche is not useful for now, so go around, shoot the rat and cross the pool with shallow waters running/jumping without stop (electric wires). Once at the other side pick up the coal shooter ammo, draw this gun and approach to the edge of the small pool, shoot the high grate in the opposite side, swim there, go through the crawlspace and in the next room press the button to raise the door so you can go back to the previous area; now face the next electrified pool, jump to grab the monkeyswing and cross to the other side timing the steam emitters, drop/grab the edge at the end, time the next steam emitters, run up the steps, open the ceiling trapdoor and inside the office shoot the mercenary and pry the Wires on the N wall; to get extra pickups go to the other side of the room, shoot another mercenary, pick up his uzi clips and also the small medipack.
Go back to the electrified pool shooting a rat on your way; note that the pool is electrified intermittently, so drop/grab the edge, drop when the pool is safe, quickly roll and run and jump without stop to reach the opposite side. If you want to get the coal shooter ammo in the middle of this pool, grab the monkeyswing again, situate Lara just above the ammo facing W, drop when the pool is about to be safe, pick it up and quickly run and jump to the safe part. Once in the first area locate the niche to place the wires, roll and go forward (W) to press the now useful button to raise the next door. In this new area with (of course) another electrified pool, shoot a rat and use the timed switch (take a sidejump right after pull it) to raise the bridge and cross to the other side.
Detour for a secret: the block in the NE corner is movable; pull it to reveal a niche with a button, press it and quickly use the switch in the W side to raise the bridge again and go back to the other side of the pool, turn right and sprint before the timed door closes; shoot the Santa between the wooden crates to get the SECRET #5; Pickup the coal shooter ammo and a large medipack. When exiting shoot the mercenary, press the button to re-open the timed door and repeat the timed run to cross to the other side of the pool.
Press the button on the E wall to open the door and go back to the ladder you used to drop into the sewers, press the nearby button to raise two doors, go to the niche with the skeleton, pick up the Skeleton Key, go S, left and up the stairs to find the keyhole, open the next door, shoot the rat, press the button to open the trapdoor above and climb up the ladder to the...
The Storage Room
In this room several boxes are movable; press the buttons next to the entrance and in the NW corner to open doors so you can get access to different outside areas (the main courtyard and the river area); move the boxes and press a third button behind the central pillar (E side) to lower a trapdoor next to the N windowsill. Go there and climb to the upper floor, shoot the mercenary, pick up his uzi clips and check all the cupboards to get the Laser sight, a large medipack, a Floppy Disk, the Surveillance Hut Key and uzi clips; open the three doors and in two of the outside balconies pick up 2 X small medipack.
Preparations for a secret: go back down to the storage room and press the button to raise the trapdoor, go outside through the N opening, run up the stairs to shoot wooden boxes and get coal shooter ammo; now approach to the river and after the flyby jump onto the icy blocks to reach the S side of the building you came from, climb the blocks and take a standing jump to reach the high balcony. Enter the upper floor and go NW to the raised trapdoor; press the button to lower a trapdoor outside the building. Back to the previous balcony (SW), jump onto the higher block and take a running jump NE over the metallic fence to get back to the main courtyard.
NE Surveillance Hut
Now go to the very NE side of the village to find the building where you can find the keyhole for the surveillance hut key; before entering, there’s a wooden box in the right side of the building containing coal shooter ammo; once inside pick up the large medipack on the window sill, open the double doors, shoot all the mercenaries and explore the room opening the cupboards to get a small medipack, the Canteen (waterskin), flares, the Grapple Gun. Exit this building and…
Detour for a secret: go SE to the end of the wooden fence, jump SE over the slope and explore this area surrounded by hedges to get uzi clips; now go to the SE corner, climb the hedge and jump onto the flatter part of the roof of the S house, jump E and jump E-NW to the top of the lower roof, turn right and take a running jump N to the flatter part of the roof of the next house; continue jumping/running in a W direction and jump to the flatter part of the roof in the next house, jump to the top of this roof, slide W and take a running jump to the recess in the W building with the ladder, climb up to the top and explore this roof to find the last Santa to shoot for SECRET #6. Go back to the ladder, drop to ground floor and return to the main courtyard with the frozen fountain. Now head back to the chapel.
The Canon Ball
Fill the canteen in the nearby pool round the back of the chapel; then enter inside and approach the bowls in the altar zone. Place the breadcrumbs, the wine and the water in their respective places (there are signs marked on the pedestals, but don’t worry if you use the items in the wrong bowls, simply look if the bowl is filled and if not, try with another item). Pickup a torch spotted previously on top of the block and light it on the nearby wall. Use it to light the bowl with the wine: a tomb moves outside in the SE corner of the courtyard. Exit the chapel and drop down through the hole the tomb was hiding and at the end of the passage pick up the Canon Ball on one of the wooden boxes, go back outside shooting the mercenaries on your way.
The Library
Head back to the frozen fountain and open the door of the library (W building) and enter. Pick up a small medipack attached to one of the bookcases and some coal shooter ammo in an alcove above one of the bookcases. Go to the back of the room; if you want you can use the floppy disk in the PC near the ladder and watch the cutscene. Use the key to open the trapdoor at the top of the ladder, climb up to the top and push the canon three times onto the marked tile.
Up to the Roofs
Exit the Library and enter the NW building with the movable crates, exit N and go to the cold river (if you want an extra pickup, jump into the water and look for coal shooter ammo near the E bank); jump onto the frozen blocks to reach the S side of this area, advance S and turn left (E) to find a couple of blocks that enable you to climb onto the roof of the E house. Before you do this, head around the S side of the building to find another Torch by barrels which you’ll need. First pickup the small medipack in the alley by the barrels, then light the torch on the fire and climb up the boxes to the roof. From this roof take a running jump to the flatter part of the N house, jump to the top of the roof, drop the torch for a brief moment and place the canon ball into the cannon (W side), now go to the other side, pick up the torch, light the fuse and see what happens…
Exiting the Level
Drop the torch (you won’t need it anymore) and safely drop to ground floor in the S area; go NW to cross the bridge, shoot the remaining mercenaries if there are some alive, pick up the uzi clips one of them dropped and approach to the pit. Drop down and shoot the wooden box to get the grapple gun ammo, climb back up, turn around and use the grapple gun with the sight to shoot the circular hoop high up in the middle of the pit: a rope appears so you can use it to cross to the other side; run straight ahead into the cave to finish the level.
LEVEL 2 – BABY, IT’S COLD INSIDE
Secrets (3)
The Gate Key
Cross the bridge taking care of the falling icicles and the breakable tiles. When reaching the broken bridge try to shoot the mercenaries at the other side and drop down onto the frozen lake below; shoot the wolves, pick up the flares under the bridge.
Detour for a secret: head back E underneath the bridge. On it’s left side (looking into the room with the broken tiles), jump to the alcove for SECRET #7. Drop below and kill the sleeping wolves and follow round the passage to find the ladder back at the start of the level. Repeat the platforming jumps to return to the main chamber.
Head towards the opening in the S wall. Note the keyhole (for later) and go through the crawlspace in the opposite side, drop, don’t slide but immediately jump to grab the ladder, climb up to the top and in this cave pick up the grapple gun ammo next to the skeleton, continue through the N passage and use the monkeyswing to cross to the N side of the cave; from the icy rock take a running jump to grab the crack in the wall, shimmy right, pull up and pick up the Gate Key.
Entering Santa’s Realm
Jump back to the icy rocks and run off the edge to land onto the opposite part of the broken bridge, pick up the large medipack, safely drop to ground floor, and go back to the opening in the S wall. Use the key to open the door and climb the blocks to reach an opening overlooking the main area; use the grapple gun with the sight to shoot the grapple hoop high up in the ceiling of the cave to release a rope, take a running jump to grab it and swing towards the high opening in the opposite side of the cave. Follow the passage, shoot a mercenary, pick up his uzi clips and continue to find a room with a floor lever; pull it to open the gates below; go back to the cave, take a running jump to land into the now melted lake under the bridge (cold waters), pick up the small medipack and locate an icy block in the E side of the cave so you can climb up to the now repaired bridge and run into the circular portal. Once through you’re now in Santa’s Realm. Go through the newly opened doors and halfway through the corridor you’ll be teleported.
Qualopec?
You’re now in a completely different but familiar area. Head W up the ramp to trigger a rolling boulder and it will open the door in the N passage. Go there and shoot a raptor in a “hub room” with three openings.
East Opening
Push the movable block at the end of the passage to clear the way and pull the switch to open the next door; hop the pit, run up the steps to a passage with moving timbers and fires. Go left (W) timing the spikes and turn around at the end of the corridor to discover a jumpswitch; save your game (it’s timed) and run E timing the spikes and the moving timbers before the fires turn on; once you are successful, pull the chain to raise one of the small gates in the big hall with the rolling boulder (and the exit door too). Go back to the hub room.
North Opening
In the room with the switch note that one of the flowerpots in the corners has no plants; drag it to shoot the Santa and get the SECRET #8. Now pull the switch to open the trapdoor at your feet and find yourself in a familiar room (memories of TR1) with shallow waters, shoot the wolves, swim through either opening in the corners, pull the ceiling lever and pick up the flares in the room with the pole rope; swim back to the previous room, run up either ramp and move the block out and aside to find the door you opened moments ago. Jump to grab the pole rope, climb almost to the top and take a jump back to land into a high opening. In the next room shoot a raptor, pull the chain to open another gate in the main hall, open the floor trapdoor, drop and go back to the hub room.
West Opening
Drop into the room with the movable pillars and place the one in the SW corner under the hole in the ceiling (pull it three times N); pull the other pillar once to the W. Now go back to the previous room (the room with the wheel-switch) and climb up the ladder in the S wall, time the first swinging blades, pick up the small medipack in the bush next to the corner, time the last blade and in the room with the ladder pick up coal shooter ammo in one of the flowerpots; climb down the ladder to land onto the movable pillar below. Take a running jump to the top of the other pillar, a standing jump to grab the crack in the corner, shimmy right, go through the crawlspace, time the swinging blade and pull the switch to lower a block in the previous room.
Go back to the main room, jump onto the nearby pillar, run and jump to the next one and locate the opening near the SW corner. Take a running jump there and in the next room take standing jumps onto the slopes to grab the ladder, climb up to the top, take a running jump to grab the next ladder, time the spikes before you jump back and pull the switch to lower a block in the main room. Make your way back, take running jumps onto the movable pillars to reach the new opening in the NE corner and pull the switch to open the door in the opposite side leading to the room with the wheel-switch. Save your game and pull this switch several times, quickly run back to the corridor with the switch and run and jump to the top of the pillars to finally reach the opening in the NW corner with the descending door (if you arrive a bit late you always can roll against the door and Lara will cross under it). Once you are successful pick up the uzi clips and pull the chain to raise the last gate in the main hall; use the wheel-switch to re-open the door, go back to the hub room, shoot the raptor and go back to the main hall (S passage).
Go through the S corridor with the raised gates, time the darts, shoot the raptor and finally pick up the Scion? (this artifact won’t appear in the inventory) to be teleported back to the chamber earlier in the level; advance W and the door automatically opens.
The Minecart
Run straight ahead to the frozen waterfall and pick up the flares, enter the SW hut, shoot the small wooden boxes to get uzi clips and if you move the crates to the N you’ll find coal shooter ammo in the S corner, but this will alert a mercenary (he will drop a small medipack). In the NW building there are small double doors you can open with your hands, enter, go up the stairs, open the next door and pull the floor lever to open the door below.
Minecart Ride 1
Exit, mount the mine cart and use the “duck” key and the brakes when necessary (you’ll find several mercenaries on your way). The first track switch is necessary (hit it with the candy cane to avoid a dead end); the second one is not necessary, but if you hit it, you’ll drive in a cave over one of those small Santa and get the SECRET #9; the third one is necessary too (rolling snowballs) and eventually the mine cart will stop. Dismount, jump onto the lower block in the N side, jump onto the next blocks in a W direction, from the last one jump to grab the monkeyswing above, cross to the S side, drop/grab the crack, shimmy left and continue taking running jumps counterclockwise until you reach the ledge with the chain; pull it to finish this level.
LEVEL 3 – CARTIN’ AROUND THE CHRISTMAS TREES
Secrets (6)
Minecart Ride 2
As usual, drive carefully in the mine cart this time hitting all the switches with the candy cane, avoiding the obstacles, using brakes in some curves and jumping over the pits with the appropriate speed until it stops in an elevator room; dismount, use the switch to lower the elevator and mount the mine cart when it stops; the door will open. Continue driving, hit the next switch, brake at the next curve, duck under the wooden beam and soon the mine cart will stop in a very huge area.
The Forest Keys
Dismount and jump into the water (E side), swim S and get out of the water in the corner to your right; enter the hut and press the action key in front of the handle of the well to raise the bucket with the Forest Keys. This will alert two elves. Go outside, jump into the water and go back up to the tracks where the mine cart is (this time I was attacked by a sea hag); from here go E, S and E over the wooden walkway, use the handle to deploy the bridge, cross to the other side and enter the big area I’ll call the “fountain courtyard”.
The Fountain Courtyard
Shoot the elves and go N to the river area, try to shoot the sea hag from above, jump into the water and swim W to the very end; you can climb the wooden ledge from the right side and pull the chain (1 of 2) to raise a platform in the main courtyard. Swim back to the fountain area, go up the N wooden walkway and use the forest keys to open the door of the hut in front of the waterfall, enter and go right to pull a second chain (2 of 2) to lower another of those hanging platforms. Remember this swamp area for later (you are out of ammo at this moment) and exit. Run up the wooden walkway just in front of the exit to find the hanging platforms and use them to reach the very high opening on the W side of this courtyard.
The Top of the Trees
Advance and use the dry branch as a horizontal pole to swing to the other side of the pit; a bit further you’ll find the very top of the first area with the mine cart. To get a secret later run and jump onto the tree branches to the very NW corner with the red candles and pick up the grapple gun ammo (*) next to the skeleton; then jump back to the previous branch. Face S and jump around the tree with the hanging lantern to find a large medipack. This will also trigger a flying fairy for you to kill. Jump back and drop below to the branches below. From here you should be able to head W and reach the area with the campfire and the elves.
The Storage Room
For a secret: shoot the padlock in the W hut to open the door and enter; shoot the elf. It seems that this room is empty but look for a crate in the E wall with a different texture, pull it to reveal a Santa to shoot and SECRET #10; open the chest to get coal shooter ammo too. Now go outside and use the forest keys to open the door of the S hut, enter and shoot the wooden boxes to get uzi clips; continue to a lake area.
The First Christmas Star
Go through the opening left from the entrance (SW corner), advance, avoid the rolling barrels, shoot the elf and use the dry branches to swing over the pit; to cross the next pit go right and jump back and forth onto the block with vegetation to grab the high monkeyswing, once at the other side shoot the elf, advance, shoot another elf and pull the wall switch to open the door at the end of the path. Shoot more elves and open the small doors (**) of the storage room (building to your left); anyway go back to the first area, jump to the island with the palm tree and pick up a Torch (facing the palm tree from the W side); go back outside to the campfire and light the torch there, enter the storage room, exit from the opposite side (**) and go right through the opening with the door you opened with the wall switch; continue left and right up the ramp, burn the rope to release the boulder, go down and inside the building to pull a chain. Now go back to the adjacent area with the raised cage and pick up the first Christmas Star. Go back to the campfire and head back E to the fountain courtyard.
Detour for a secret: from the campfire jump into the lake and swim all the way N behind the waterfall, climb the rocks and go right to the cave behind the other waterfall to find a large medipack and another Santa to shoot for SECRET #11. Make your way back to the fountain courtyard picking up the flares in a recess to your left under a grate.
The Houses of the Elves
This time run up the wooden ramp just in front of the entrance; at the end of the path open the door of the hut with the forest keys and enter. In this bedroom shoot the elves and shoot the box in the high ledge (W side) to get coal shooter ammo; advance S and go up the steps, go through the first opening you find to the dining room. Climb the N wooden ledge and go through the crawlspace to find coal shooter ammo; if you continue you’ll find yourself in the main outside area, so go back to the dining room, climb up the S ladder and shoot the box to get more coal shooter ammo; climb down and use the switch in the E wall to exit this room.
The Roasting Girl
In this area shoot the elves and go to the SW corner to find a ladder leading to the roof of the hut where you can find a small medipack; but the most interesting thing is that you can shoot the apple in the mouth of the hanging girl and approach to get the Freezer Key. Go back to the dining room and open the N door with this key, enter and look for a jumpswitch next to the entrance, pull it to open the floor trapdoor, drop down, pick up the uzi clips and note the crate attached to the wall, push it several times to clear the way and find a room with SECRET #12: another Santa to shoot plus coal shooter ammo. A door will open so you can exit. Open the door to your right to get back at the bottom of the stairs.
Barrels
This time climb up the stairs to the very top and in the room with the breakable floor climb up the ladder and take a running jump to the opposite ledge to find flares in the chest; drop down, continue S up the ramp to the wine barrels, pick up more coal shooter ammo; and push the barrels at the top of the ramp facing N so they roll and break the floor in the previous room, go back there, drop through the hole and if you go up the stairs you can shoot the padlock to open the door and go back to the previous areas, but that’s not what you want, so go down the stairs to the very bottom and continue to a waterfall area. Jump into the lake to get uzi clips, run up the stairs and advance through the cave shooting a couple of flying fairies on your way until you find the area with the waterwheel.
Building with the Waterwheel
Detour for a secret: first of all fill the canteen (waterskin) and from the entrance jump over the slope to the back side of the big tree to your right, climb up the ladder, shimmy right and pull up onto the branch; now take a running jump N to grab the branch of the next tree and from here take a running jump to the lower opening in the NE corner, go through the crawlspace, shoot the elf and place the water in the scale to open the trapdoor, drop down and find a room with the SECRET #13: another Santa to shoot, plus coal shooter ammo. Go back up, shoot another elf and exit.
Go to the right side of the building and pull the wall switch in the NW corner to open a trapdoor somewhere; now go to the opposite side of the building (SW corner) to find the open trapdoor and an elf. Climb up the ladder and go around the corner, open the double doors, enter and go all around counterclockwise to get a large medipack; now go back clockwise to the N side of this balcony and look for the part with a missing fence, jump to grab the upper ledge, pull up and take a running jump to grab the ledge with the switch (beware of the lamp and the low ceiling; try to jump from the left side of the lamp), pull it to open a trapdoor below and go down to the very bottom of the hut. Pick up the flares on the S window sill and locate the open trapdoor in the NE corner, drop down and follow the passage to find a larger area with a hut and movable pieces.
The Second Christmas Star
First approach the entrance of the hut and pick up the flares and the Enchanted Scroll; it will give you hints about where to place each piece. Also note in front of the hut four patterned tiles marked with signs: a snowflake, the branch of a tree… Even more, when you place a piece onto the correct tile, a small sphere appears at its top. A couple of flying fairies are hidden behind the trees too. So, start by moving the nearby piece onto the SW tile (“to hang it with gold…” → Christmas balls hang on the tree, and the piece is yellow like gold). Now go to the S recess and use the handle to raise the cage; move the green piece onto the NW tile (“...a tree stands alone, great and tall, with its green…” → The tree has green branches). Now go W and use the handle to lower the hanging platform; move the red piece onto the SE corner (“candles are lit, only one shade of red.” → red piece – red candle). Finally go E and pull the floor lever to raise the trapdoor, climb the tree in the NE corner (it has a ladder), jump to the ledge with the piece and place it onto the raised trapdoor; drop down, re-use the lever again to lower the trapdoor and place the blue piece onto the remaining tile with the snowflake in the NW corner to raise a block in the center. Climb the S side of the raised block (it has a ladder) and take a running jump to grab the roof of the hut. Pull the reach-in switch to open the door below, enter and check the chests to get a large medipack and the second Christmas Star. Head back through the passage to the building with the waterwheel and use the switch on the wall to open the door to the fountain courtyard.
Detour for a secret: before you go to the area with the mine cart, when you are in the fountain courtyard go up the N wooden walkway, and right to the NE hut, enter and face the swamp; draw the grapple gun, shoot the circular grapple hoop in the ceiling to release a rope [only if you got the ammo at the top of the trees in the mine cart area (*)] and use the ropes to reach the ledge at the end of the cave to find the SECRET #14: a Santa to shoot plus uzi clips, coal shooter ammo and the uzis. Swing back to the fountain courtyard the way you came.
Placing the Christmas Stars
Once back to the minecart, go up the walkways W and N to the top, shoot the elf, approach to the W end of the branch and take a running jump SW to the wooden platform with the wheel, shoot another elf and pull the handle to raise the obstacle on the tracks. Go back the way you came onto the wooden walkway. From here jump to the branch ledges by the tree to reach the coal shooter ammo on top of the wooden platform. Drop down to the Minecart but don’t mount it just yet, follow the tracks in S direction to find another swamp area. Drop down and jump onto the marked tiles to reach the opening in the SE corner, advance to the cave with the Santa statues and place the Christmas Stars to open a door somewhere; go back to the swamp and, again, jump onto the marked tiles until you reach the very E one against the tree in the E side; turn around, take a running jump to grab the ladder on the central tree, climb up to the top and take a last running jump to grab the S ladder; pick up the small medipack, enter and go towards the Santa statue.
Shiva?
You’ll be teleported in a corridor, walk forward, slide down the ramp and jump in the last moment to find yourself in a different but familiar room with several Shiva statues. Approach the W statue and it will start to trigger the other 2 statues in the room. Head towards the N statue and it will wake up. Shoot it, pick up the Shiva Left Sword, the coal shooter ammo and approach to the S statue, shoot it, pick up the Shiva Right Sword, the large medipack and place the swords in the W Shiva statue: an artifact appears on the central tile; pick it up and you’ll be teleported back to the room with the Santa statue; approach to the statue and use the crowbar to get the Christmas Tree Emblem. To exit this room, pick up a torch on the left side of the statue, light it in one of the pots and use it in front of the Santa statue facing S to burn it. Finally pull the reach-in switch to open the exit door.
Preparing the Exit
Now exit and make your way to go back up to the tracks with the mine cart, advance N over the tracks and note that you can go up the hill jumping over a flatter tile on each side; once up, take a running jump to grab the branch of the tree in the right side, take another running jump (no grab) to the branch of the N tree, pick up the small medipack and take a last running jump W to the branch with the SECRET #15; shoot the Santa and the flying fairy, jump into the lake, shoot the sea hag, pick up the flares, get out of the water, go to the N ledge with the closed door, place the Christmas Tree Emblem in the receptacle to open it and go all the way back up the hill to the area with the mine cart jumping onto the flatter tiles and picking up coal shooter ammo on your way.
Minecart Ride 3
Finally mount the mine cart and go up and down the hill, jump over the pit with speed, drive up, time the moving timbers (very tricky task; pull the switch to avoid the last one), round the corner there are two paths depending on whether you hit the switch. If you don’t and continue straight, follow the track round, braking when necessary. When you reach the steep curve, hit the switch to change tracks, drive across 2 wooden platforms and hit another switch to raise the 3rd platform.
If you do hit the switch, fall into the trapdoors, follow the track, jump the pit, dodge the darts and you’ll come to the end of the ride. Dismount at the end and pull the switch to activate the elevator and finish this long and complex level.
LEVEL 4 – JINGLE HELL ROCK
Secrets (5)
Minecart Ride 4
Pick up the coal shooter ammo near the W wall and mount the mine cart, drive up the ramp, jump over the lava pits and use the brakes at the end before the curve, duck to avoid the fire emitter and immediately hit the switch to avoid the dead end. Continue driving, duck to avoid the swinging blades, hit the next switch and use the brakes slightly so you get the necessary boost to jump over the next pit, continue driving until the mine cart stops in a very large cave.
The Control Room Area
Dismount and go E and right down the stairs to the ground floor, turn left and go E to shoot an elf and pick up a small medipack. Now go E to the mound of coal, and right; jump onto the crate and go inside the control cabin of the excavator machine, use the controls to activate it and go outside to get the Control Room Key amongst the coal. Go NW to the central building and use this key to open the door; enter, shoot the elves and after the conversation pick up the small medipack and press the button to raise a platform outside. From the conveyor belt take a running jump to grab the hanging crate next to the N wall, jump E to the next hanging crate, E again to the next one and use the chain as a pole rope to reach the opening in the ceiling and get the SECRET #16: a Santa to shoot and coal shooter ammo. Jump to the last hanging crate and finally take a running jump to the raised platform.
Rolling Boulder Passage
Go through the opening and save at the junction. In this corridor there’s a rolling boulder waiting for you if you approach to the S side; unfortunately I couldn’t find a way to avoid it when running towards the lava pit (I think sliding/grabbing the edge and shimmy left before the boulder arrives), so what I did was walk slowly to the N where the boulder is, approach all what I could to the right wall and just from the edge of the tile adjacent to the boulder tile, I took a running jump N to the right corner to trigger it; with lucky, the boulder won’t touch you and you can calmly go down the ramp, slide down backwards, grab the edge of the lava pit, shimmy left to the corner, pull up, roll and take a running jump (no grab) timing the fire emitter. Advance S, push the machine to clear the way and go right to a junction; go right and…
The Mine. Option 1: with the secret
Detour for a secret: drop down into the pit where an elf is working, shoot another elf and pull the switch to lower a trapdoor somewhere, exit S and go always to your right, when possible, shoot another elf and find a ladder with the open trapdoor at the end. Climb up the ladder, go left at the junction, shoot another elf and pick up the large medipack; finally shoot the Santa to get the SECRET #17. Go back to the junction, continue N sliding towards the mine cart, go left at the junction and when you find the lava pit time the fire emitter to take a running jump and grab the edge of the W opening, pull up, shoot the wooden box and pick up the Electrical Fuse. Go back to the junction with the mine cart the way you came (go E at the junction to get a small medipack in a niche if you want), go N this time to pull a switch and find yourself back in the main area.
The Mine. Option 2: without the secret
Don’t drop down into the pit but take a running jump to grab the crack in the W wall, shimmy left, pull up, pick up the small medipack in the niche to your right and in the junction with the mine cart go W; advance and when you find the lava pit time the fire emitter to take a running jump and grab the edge of the W opening, pull up, shoot the wooden box and pick up the Electrical Fuse. Go back to the junction with the mine cart the way you came, go N this time to pull a switch and find yourself back in the main area.
The Catacombs Key
Now go to the very SW corner of this huge area, to the Maintenance Hut (if you go left from the entrance you can climb the roof of this hut to get flares), open the door, enter, light a flare (this room is quite dark) and place the fuse to restore the power and open the W door; enter and shoot the wooden boxes to reveal a small chest with the Catacombs key. Shoot the elves and go back outside to the main area. Go left (N) and left (W) to find the closed door with the keyhole for your key (and the guide too).
The Catacombs
Open the door, enter, pick up the flares and follow the guide to a cave with several cages; pick up the coal shooter ammo in the SW corner and advance through the dark E passage. In this dark cave pick the uzi clips right from the entrance and continue to a room with a lava pit; advance and the guide will deactivate the spikes in the next corridor. In the next area pick up the flares next to the skeleton, shoot the mutant reindeer and go through the crawlspace in the E wall to find another reindeer and a reach-in switch to open the doors so the guide can advance. Go right and through the opening in the NE corner to get a large medipack, but this will alert another reindeer too. Light a flare and look for a crawlspace in the NW corner of the cave, go inside and use the crowbar to open the gate where the guide is waiting; go there, advance (sprint) and pull the reach-in switch at the end (after the guide has stopped moving), continue S and pull the floor lever to deactivate some spikes, once the guide kills the reindeer he will light the bowl and the next gates will open. In the next room kill another reindeer, pick up a Torch and go back to the previous room, light it with the wall torch and light the pot in the opposite side to open the next gate. Continue to a large area where two reindeer will attack. Throw the torch in a place where you can find it later.
Torch Puzzle Cave
Detour for a secret: go to the N side of this cave and jump over a rocky slope to get coal shooter ammo, climb S the next ledges and shoot the Santa laying on the ledge in the E rocky ledge to get the SECRET #18.
Back to ground floor, pick up the torch and approach the guide; follow him only when he deactivates the deadly tiles until a cage lowers and he lights a pot; now you have to mirror the path the Guide took on the other side to lower the 2nd cage. The floor tiles will help to show you the way too. Light the other pot and watch the cutscene. Approach the guide and he will open the exit door.
Lava Caves
In the next lava area, follow the guide taking running jumps, shimmying, and in the next passage push the rock several times to clear the way; continue jumping to the next platform and jump to the ledge in the right side to get a small medipack and the grapple gun ammo next to the skeleton. Jump back to the S ledge and use the grapple gun to shoot the circular hoop in the ceiling to release a rope, swing to the next ledge and jump onto the safe ledges until you reach the last one with the floor lever to open the door where the guide is. Go all the way back (beware of the rolling boulder) to the place where the guide is, and the door will close as you approach; fortunately, there is a jump switch to pull right from the entrance to lower the N blocks.
Unblocking the Guide
Advance jumping over the fire tiles, pull the floor lever, jump over the next fire tile and in the next area shoot several reindeer. Go to the SW corner of the cave area and check the skeletons to get the grapple gun ammo; there are uzi clips in the NW corner too. Now explore the area where the guide is to find more uzi clips and a ladder in a corner; climb up to the upper balconies, pick up the large medipack and use the grapple gun to shoot the circular hoop in the ceiling to release a rope, swing to the opposite ledge and pull the floor lever to lower a block in the cave area where you got the grapple gun ammo, drop down and go there. Follow the guide, use the monkeyswing to pass the lava pit and continue to a lava room.
The 3 Pressure Pad Puzzles
The guide will jump onto a pad trigger tile, so if you jump onto the other one the exit door will open. In the next lava room, there are three pad trigger tiles, and you and the guide are only two, so you will have to find a way to activate that third trigger tile. Jump onto the ledge with the jumpswitch in the E side of the room and pull it to temporarily turn off the fires in the ledges: the guide will cross to the other side of the room but the fires will turn on after a brief moment; pull the jumpswitch again and quickly take a running jump to the ledge in the SW corner, pull out the broken column and jump back to the ledge with the jumpswitch, pull it for a third time and place the broken column onto the trigger tile; finally jump onto the remaining trigger tile to open the exit door.
In the next lava room there are four trigger tiles, pull the skeleton and place it onto one of them; now go to the E side of the room, drop/grab the edge of the ledge between the trigger tiles, drop/grab the edge of the block below and shimmy around the corners to find a wall switch, pull it to open a ceiling trapdoor in a corner of this room and use either ladder to go back up; now climb up the ladder in the NW corner, place the movable rock onto the E trapdoor, pull the floor lever so the rock falls. Pick up the uzi clips in the corner and then drop down, place the movable rock onto the nearby trigger tile and jump onto the remaining one to open the exit door. Pick up the coal shooter ammo on the way out by the exit. Into the next corridor the guide will open the door and you’ll find yourself in a familiar looking area.
The Chamber Key
Shoot all the mercenaries and when the calm is restored pick up the coal shooter ammo, the flares and the large medipack. A trapdoor has raised above the entrance door, so climb up the ladder, jump back onto it and take a running jump to one of Santa’s arms. Pick up the Chamber Key in the S balcony, pull all four floor levers in the corners and watch the cutscene. Shoot Von Croy and climb up again to the statue’s arms: a block has lowered in the E balcony revealing a switch, pull it and watch the next cutscene: Jasper appears in your inventory. Climb up again for a third time to the statue’s arms: another block has lowered, this time in the N balcony, follow the passage and pull the switch at the end to get back in the previous areas of this level.
Exiting The Catacombs
Pick up the coal shooter ammo and go back to the room with the hanging rope, in the E corridor you can find the keyhole you are looking for. In the next lava room turn right and take a running jump to the flatter part of the rock in the S wall and to the ledge in the corner to get uzi clips; go back to the entrance and use the lonely column to cross to the other side. Advance and in the next lava room take a running jump to the top of the column in the right side, turn right and take a running jump to grab the rocky ledge attached to the S wall, shimmy right, pull up and take a tricky running jump with a hard right curve to grab the ladder in the corner, climb up to the top and shoot the Santa to get the SECRET #19. Jump back to the rocky ledge, to the column, to the next column, to the rocky block attached to the N wall and to the slope to your right, shimmy right, pull up and pick up the coal shooter ammo in the opening to your left; follow the tracks to find yourself back in the first areas of this level, but in the opposite bank of the lava river.
Minecart Ride 5
Go to the back side of the wooden structure to get a large medipack, go back to the other side, run up the stairs and mount the mine cart. As usual, use the duck key and the brakes, when necessary, pull all the switches (I couldn’t pull the last one) and drive until you eventually reach an outside area with Santa’s Workshop.
Outside The Workshop
Detour for a secret: exit E and go left to find coal shooter ammo in the very corner, now go right and clockwise all around the fence and behind the building to find a large medipack and a last Santa to shoot for the SECRET #20. Go back to the main area shooting a mercenary on your way. Enter the premises and explore the N area with the crane first, shoot the mercenaries and one of them will drop the Surveillance Room Key; pick up the small medipack in the NW corner, go back to the area with the mine carts, shoot another mercenary, pick up uzi clips at the top of a crate and continue S; shoot another mercenary, pick up his coal shooter ammo and use the keys to enter the hut. Shoot two more mercenaries and after the cutscene pick up the uzi clips one of them dropped, press the button to move the crane, go back there, climb the hanging crate and go through the opening with the broken grate to finish the level.
LEVEL 5 – VIOLENT NIGHT
Secrets (4)
The Ducts
Go left, shoot the grate and go through the crawlspace, pick up the large medipack and in the junction with the moving laser duck and shoot the grate in the left side first, then time the laser and go through the next crawlspace; there is one more crawlspace and at the end of the path shoot the grate so you can drop into a storage room. In one of the pentagonal openings open the chest to get a small medipack, in the other one shoot the electrical box and pull the switch to deactivate the laser barrier in the starting corridor. Go back there the way you came. Climb up the ladder and go through the next crawlspace, left at the junction, jump over the laser trap and use the crowbar on the grate. In the next crawlspace time the moving laser and remember that you can use the “sprint” key when ducking to advance faster; in the next corridor pick up the coal shooter ammo, go through one more crawlspace, climb up the ladder and save your game in front of the slope. This task is very tricky: draw pistols, slide down the slope when shooting to break a grate at the other side, holster the pistols, jump to grab the horizontal pole and swing to grab the edge of the next crawlspace; advance, open the floor trapdoor at the end of the passage, drop and exit this room to find yourself inside the Santa’s workshop.
Warehouse
Turn left (W) and place the movable table just under the ceiling trapdoor, climb it and jump to open the trapdoor; go through the long crawlspace, shoot the grate at the end and in the next room press the button to open the exit door. Explore this big area to find a lot of mercenaries to shoot, they will drop 2 X uzi clips and the Warehouse Key. Go to the very N side of the train and shoot the wooden boxes to get the grapple gun ammo; now climb the wooden crates in the W side of the room and from the highest one, near the steam emitter, face S and shoot the circular hoop in the ceiling to release a rope, drop down, climb the stairs in the NW corner, pick up the coal shooter ammo and save your game in the niche with the button for a timed run; press the button, roll and take a running jump to grab the edge of the high S crates, continue jumping to the crates with the steam emitter, jump to grab the rope and swing to the S ledge before the door closes (trick: when you grab the rope and Lara swings forward, immediately jump trying to land onto the wooden crates attached to the wall; if you wait for Lara swing more than once and grab the rope with arms and legs, you won’t make it). Go to the back of the room timing the moving cranes, shoot the electrical box and pull the switch to retract a machine somewhere, go back to the entrance, press the button in the left side to re-open the door and exit. Go up the stairs in the SE corner to the entrance of this area, time the steam emitter and in the next room pick up the Battery on a cardboard box in the right side; there is also a pack of flares on one of the shelves.
Detour for a secret: the shelves in this room are climbable; climb them and check the tops to find uzi clips and a Santa to shoot, getting SECRET #21 this way.
Now go to the NE corner, up the inactive conveyor belt and take a sidejump over the fence, open the door with your key, enter, shoot the mercenary, place the battery to raise the cover and press the button to activate the conveyor belt; go outside and to the S side, look for a pillar with a crack near the conveyor belt and from one of the wooden crates jump to grab it, shimmy right around the corner, pull up and pull the switch to raise the doors to your right; go there via the ladder and in the control room pick up a large medipack and the Level 2 Access Card. Our work here is done, so go back to the room where you placed the battery and from the balcony take a running jump S to grab the horizontal pole, swing and land onto the balcony attached to the E wall, press the button and you are back in the corridor with the movable table.
The Nap Room
This time go E and enter the hall, go left to the workshop and left again to the Nap Room; open the door with the card and enter, shoot the elves, pick up coal shooter ammo in the NW corner and climb the bed in the SW corner so you can open the ceiling trapdoor; go through the crawlspace, time the lasers in the next passage (climb the block when the upper laser moves over your head and jump over the lower laser) and open the floor trapdoor at the end. In the control room shoot the elf, shoot the electrical box and pull the switch to change the arrangement of the laser barriers in the main hall, open the exit door with your card and go back there.
Santa’s Office
Use the card again to get access to the office and enter, go left and look to the paintings in the NE corner, each painting has a number: 4, 2, 2 and 0. When this adventure is released we will be in the Advent of the… 2024 year, so this is the code to use in the keypad (SE corner) to open the door; go there, pick up the coal shooter ammo, enter and check the chest to get the Santa’s Diary, note the bowls near the fireplace and remember this place because you’ll be back here later when you get all the items mentioned in the diary. Go back to the hall, left to the control room and pull the switch again to change the arrangement of the laser barriers in the main hall, go to the workshop and this time go right to the corridor that was protected with the machine gun.
Blue Star Key
Shoot the elves and take a look at this room: you need three keys to open the door in the SE corner. You can do the tasks here in any order, so let’s go with the Completed Presents Room first. Use the card to open this door, enter and check the chests to get the Uzis and the Toy Train; continue through the opening called “Chute to Sleigh”, save the game, slide forwards and if you are lucky the lasers will turn off when you cross; if not, reload, wait a bit and try again. Jump in last moment to grab the edge of the opening above, pull up, climb up the ladder, time the moving laser in the crawlspace, open the floor trapdoor and drop into a room with swinging bags. Time the bags to cross to the N side and pick up the coal shooter ammo ontop of one of the boxes. Press the button to open the door and carefully enter the Coal Storage room walking slowly (if you jump or run you are doomed); continue walking, picking up the two coal shooter ammo pickups, whilst trying to avoid the falling bags. Open the chest at the end to get the Blue Star Key; open the exit door with the card and exit.
Red Star Key
Now I went to the Kittens Room. Open the door with the card, enter, climb the blocks at the back of the room and jump from ledge to ledge towards the N one, open the chest to get the Red Star Key, drop down and exit.
For a secret: look carefully to the cats and see that one of them is different than the others, it’s not black or white, but a bit gray and thinner; shoot it and when it dies the E door opens so you can get the SECRET #22: a Santa to shoot plus coal shooter ammo, flares and a large medipack.
Purple Star Key
Finally go through either N opening with the conveyor belts (better choose the central one) fighting with the current and soon you’ll find a room with moving cranes. Continue timing the cranes with running jumps to reach the ledge with the floor lever or... another option is drop down to the floor shoot the mercenaries, pick up the uzi clips one of them drops, climb the high crates in the NE corner and take a running jump SW over the fence to reach the ledge with the floor lever. Anyway, from here take a running jump to grab the short ladder in the W side, climb up, take a rest to pick up the nearby flares in the safe ledge. There is coal shooter ammo on the opposite side of the room on a ledge. You can reach it using the conveyor belts on this level. Once collected go through the opening, time the lasers taking jumps back and get out of the conveyor belt in the next corner, climb, turn left, take a running jump to grab the higher N ledge, use the horizontal poles to swing to the E side of the room, take a running jump to grab the S conveyor belt, time the fire emitters and the lasers taking jumps back as you did before and at the end of the path jump to the niche, pull the switch to raise a platform outside and make your way to go there the best you can (what I did was time only the red lasers and from the next opening I took a running jump over the conveyor belt in N direction going a bit right to land onto that platform just between the pillars; but not from the very edge). Shoot the mercenary, use the horizontal pole to swing and land where he was, climb up the ladder and once in the upper floor shoot the mercenaries, pick up his uzi clips and go to the back of the room to get the Purple Star Key. Make your way back to the workshop the way you came. (What I did was take a standing jump onto the left side of the sloped ledge between the pillars timing the moving crane, slide/drop onto the ledge with the floor lever and finally time the moving cranes to exit)
Nutcrackers's Cookie
Once in the workshop use the keys to open the door, continue to a room with a giant present, pull the switch in the E wall and shoot the knight; when he’s defeated, he will drop the Nutcracker’s Cookie and the N door will open. Go there, climb up the ladder and in the upper balconies go E to find 2 X grapple gun ammo on a small table; from this position shoot the circular hoops on the ceiling to release two ropes so you can cross to the S balcony.
Detour for a secret: from one of the ropes swing to the E balcony to find the SECRET #23: a Santa to shoot plus a large medipack and coal shooter ammo behind the wall; jump to the floor, climb up the N ladder and use the ropes to reach the S balcony.
Pick up the coal shooter ammo and pull the switch to open the exit door below, drop down, exit and go left at the junction (another door opened here), use the card to open the door of the Reading Room, enter, shoot the cowboy and pick up the Winding Key from the pedestal near the window; exit, go left to the entrance of the Courtyard, combine the winding key with the toy train and use it to deactivate the spikes in the passage (pick it up at the end, you’ll need it later); continue to a hub room and shoot the cowboy that runs in. In the Toilets there is an elf to shoot and a small medipack; in the Nightclub there are dancing elves and coal shooter ammo.
Frosty's Nose
Continue to the courtyard, pull the switch to open the next door and in the outside snowy area look for three wall switches to pull in the NW, SW and SE corners near the aggressive snowmen; these switches will open a trapdoor at the top of the W ladder, so go there, climb up, shoot the mercenary, pick up his small medipack and climb the crate with the zip-line. Don’t use the zip-line yet, but take a running jump to the SW ledge, run to the end and shoot the red button; go back to the previous balcony, use the zip-line now, go left to get coal shooter ammo, climb up the ladder, shoot the mercenary, pick up his uzi clips and face N and S to find horizontal poles so you can swing to the far corners; one of them will lead you to a large medipack, and the other one to a second red button to shoot: a door opens somewhere.
Drop down to ground floor and look for an opening in the S wall (to the left of the snowy mound) blocked by ice, duck, shoot the ice to clear the way, go through the crawlspace, climb up the ladder, shoot the mercenary, pick up his coal shooter ammo and push the snowball so it rolls over the slope and break the ice in the courtyard, slide down to a big platform and approach to the N side to trigger Frosty, make your way to shoot it running all around near the edges as you did in TR1 and when it dies pick up Frosty’s Nose. A snowball falls from an opening in the W wall, jump there, push the button to open the trapdoor above, climb up the ladder and in the next room pick up the small medipack, shoot the grate in the W wall, go through the crawlspace, drop/grab the edge of the hole, drop/grab the crack below, shimmy left and around the corner and to get the last secret pull up into the left corner, shoot the grate and drop into a room with SECRET #24: a large medipack, coal shooter ammo and a Santa to shoot; if you shot all the 24 Santas in these five levels, Buddy the Elf will appear on the block; he's a weapon with explosive and unlimited ammo. (You'll also be given a passcode to use on a keypad in the first level, so if you wish to replay the game you can unlock Buddy the Elf from the start) Crawl back to the pit, drop/grab the edge, shimmy left around the corner, drop/grab the crack below, drop/grab the crack below, shimmy left around the corners and wait for the red light of the laser below goes out to drop/slide and duck to avoid the moving laser; time the laser so you can safely open the floor trapdoor, drop through the hole, shoot the cowboys and go around the wall to the N passage. The door opens as you approach; light a flare, enter and forget the buttons, go to the N room and get the Laboratory Access Card. The trap in the previous room is now activated. Escape by avoiding the tiles with spikes, the giant moving blade and this time pressing all four buttons to open the exit door.
Mariah's Milk
Open the door of the laboratory with your new card and use the toy train to deactivate the fire tiles, cross the corridor and press the button to open the door. Once inside, go down the stairs and left to get the Elevator Fuse and right to climb the shelves getting a small medipack at its top. Back to the panel controls in front of the entrance, press the button to release Mariah and several elves. A door opened in the E wall; run there, climb up the ladder and time the moving laser to jump back and duck to press the button which opens the next door. In this floor pick up the uzi clips from the small table and go to the opposite side to move the other table under the monkeyswing so you can grab it and cross to the W side of the room. Press the button to open the door and in this room duck and crawl to avoid the shots of the machine gun; go to the right side first to press a button, then go back all around clockwise to press another button in the S wall to open the ceiling trapdoor in the W side. After you pressed this button, and if you went all around crawling, you can try to get the large medipack under the gun if it’s pointing to the N wall (climb the lower crate opposite the button).
Anyway climb up the ladder and when you reach the conveyor belt time the swinging crane and take a running jump at the end of the conveyor belt to grab the horizontal pole and reach the opening at the other side of the pit. Drop onto the next conveyor belt and once you reach the trapdoor you will be trapped by lasers. Quickly shoot the three bells and Mariah will fall to her death. If you're too slow your trapdoor will open instead. After the flyby, jump to the other side of the room and climb down the ladder to the very bottom. Pick up Mariah’s Milk, cross to the S side of the room, run up the stairs and go right to place the fuse to activate the elevator.
Placing the Presents
Once you are back up in the main hall, shoot the cowboys and go W to the control room, pull the switch to change the arrangement of the laser barriers in the main hall so you can go back to Santa’s Office; go to the room where you got the Santa’s Diary time ago and place the milk, the cookies and the carrot on the pedestals (facing the part of the pedestal that is not red) to activate the fireplace. Carefully go through to finish the level.
LEVEL 6 – I SAW MOMMY KILLING SANTA CLAUS
After the cutscene shoot the cowboys, the trees, the elves, the reindeers, pick up 3 X coal shooter ammo and 3 X large medipacks on the N small tables, shoot Santa, and a bear will appear; approach to the bear to trigger it and lure it so it breaks the tiles with the Santa images in the NE, NW, SE and SW pillars; once all four tiles are broken the bear explodes and Santa will appear again in the center of the room, shoot him and once again the room will change. Santa changes into a giant serpent, so shoot him until he is defeated. After the cutscene a earthquake starts; go to the small table in front of the fireplace and pick up the Santa Claus Key Card; pick up 2 X coal shooter ammo in the NE and NW corners and go to the teleporter behind the fireplace to finish this level.
LEVEL 7 – VIOLENT NIGHT (REVISITED)
Go S and left (E) to open the double doors with the Santa Claus Key Card, run down the stairs, shoot the mercenaries and continue S and E shooting some elves; when you reach the room with the red laser barriers, move the table under the ceiling trapdoor and open it (facing E); climb up to the ducts, climb up the ladder, time the moving lasers, slide down the ramp, jump to grab the horizontal pole, swing to grab the pole rope, climb, jump back and in the big pit take a running jump to grab the horizontal pole and reach the opening in the S side; advance avoiding (jump over) the tiles with the fans in the floor, slide down the ramp, shoot the mercenary and go left to the stables; exit S to finish this fantastic adventure.
