Lara drops down to a street bazaar. The place seems to be shut down for the evening, so explore at your leisure. Go through the NE portal for the KEY CARD, return and go to the covered E stand. Search among the straw baskets for the golden UZIS and go back to the spot where you dropped down. Climb the crate and jump E to grab the snow-covered ledge. Go to the S end and walk the festive tightrope to the other side (through a fixed camera part of the way, although there's no real danger of falling off). Shoot a bat or two and pick up the shotgun ammo. Go out onto an arch and jump SW onto the jutting ledge. Shoot out the nearby windows and jump with grab to land inside a storage room.
Go to the SW corner and place the Key Card in the slot to open a grate in the crawl space to your left. Pull inside, drop down the other side and push the button for a cut scene of a corner object in the previous room. Return there, shoot the glass panel and reach inside for the SABRE OF HAZMIEH. Go back the way you came, enter the other building connected to the arch and jump onto the ledge outside. Jump from the other end into the stained glass window alcove and pry loose a piece of the SUN DISK with your Sabre. Safety drop to the ground, run over to the W side, pull up into the window alcove and get back to the connecting arch. Drop down the N side into the street bazaar and climb the tallest of the three crates.
Stand jump E to grab the awning over the straw baskets, pull up and turn left. Take a running jump to grab the wooden balcony, pull up and push open the doors. Go up the stairs to a landing and take the right opening. Open the crowbar door and step out onto a ledge overlooking an alley. Take a running jump up NE, shoot out the window and drop down into a dark room (what, no flares?!). Step left into the window alcove for the golden REVOLVER and jump S across the alley onto a jutting ledge. Turn right, jump to grab the ladder and climb down to the alley. Run E up the steps through the opening and loop around right to find a small medipack among the straw baskets.
Go back just past the shop, turn left and find a wall switch that retracts overhead spikes. Go back W, climb the ladder and back flip near the top onto the jutting ledge. Turn around and take a running jump to grab the E column, pull up and jump with a right curve onto the slope ahead. Slide, grab, pull up and take a rolling back flip to grab the ledge across the alley. Pull up and turn around. Face SE and jump up to shoot out the window across the way. Hop down past the clothesline onto the arch, pull up S into the window opening and hop down into a room where Lara looks to her right.
Pull up into the desk alcove for the STAR OF DAVID and note the keyhole in the S wall. Shoot out the NE window, vault up into the opening and take a running jump slightly right onto the wooden balcony. Turn right, hop over to the ledge where the spikes retracted and activate the jump switch to open the door in front of you as you land. Follow around to the revolver ammo next to the potted plants and push open the doors to face a crossing. To your right is a frozen pond with a key down below, to your left is a slope. Slide down to a ledge overlooking a deep pit. Take a running jump to grab the monkey bars and monkey swing over the pit. Drop down the other side and pull up to a wall switch that releases a boulder that rolls down into the pit and demolishes the deadly ice shards.
Get back down, go to the end of the jutting ledge and hop down left or right to land on one of the slopes. Slide and jump back and forth between the slopes, using the arrow key until you get past the boulder. You can then stand jump E into the opening. Turn around, look up to see the jump switch and jump up to activate it. The exit door behind you opens. On your way out, pause at the raised slab for the ORNATE KEY (cut scene of a previous room) and pull up E. Stand with your back to the wall, stand jump onto the slope, back flip onto a higher slope and jump off to grab the ladder. Climb up to the passage, go forward and jump a couple of gaps for a large medipack. Safety drop to a previous passage and head S and E back to the ledge overlooking the alley.
Jump to the wooden balcony, then onto the arch and pull up S into the room where you can use the Ornate Key to open the door. Step out onto a balcony and jump up to grab the monkey bars. Monkey swing to the next balcony, drop down for the BINOCULARS and monkey swing back to the first balcony. Run around left, jump NW over the railing onto the snow-covered roof and hop down NE. Kick open the wooden panel blocking the crawl space, enter for a second STAR OF DAVID and return. Jump to the nearest column and drop to the courtyard. Look on the columns for two vacant receptacles to place the Stars of David and raise connecting platforms.
Go to the NE alcove and pull down the wall switch to lift overhead gates. Do the same in the SE alcove, turn around and climb the raised block. Step on the breaktile to drop the urn to the ground, go push the SE switch back up to lower the block and move the urn onto it. Pull the SE switch back down to raise the urn, climb the block and push the urn onto the adjacent column. A flame is ignited, so hop over E and move the two urns out of their alcoves, over the raised platforms and onto the column tops. A gate lifts between the two urn alcoves, so go there and step down into the dark opening.
Turn around, save your game, hang from the edge and climb down the ladder to the bottom rung. Shift right or left and release when the flames below are about to subside so you can slide safely to the floor. This requires split-second timing, so it may take several tries. Go around right into the NW passage, jump up S to grab a crack and shimmy left if necessary to pull into a crawl space. Crawl around right in the darkness and lower Lara into a small cave. Pry the POINTED GOLDEN STAR off the wall and return. Climb the blocks in the nearby corner to get back up to the floor hole overlooking the burner slope. Jump forward toward the urns and drop down to the ground.
Exit N, run across the outdoor walkway into the opening ahead and pull up two times. Place the Star, get back down and find that a floor hole has been created in the walkway. Hop down, enter the crawl space and follow to where you can drop down for flares. Go through the nearby passage, pull up left at the end and hop down into another passage. Loop around right, pull up left into an alcove with a wall switch that opens a door further along in the passage. Drop down and follow to a small room overlooking a lake.
Slide down into the water, grab the small medipack and follow the NW passage around to where you can pull out right or left. Pull out right into a small room, pick up the HEXAGRAM STAR to release a wraith and drop back down into the water to douse it. This time pull out left, slide down to the frozen pond and pull up into the W alcove. Stoop for a large medipack on one side and the CROSSBOW on the other. Get down, hop onto the nearby ledge and open the door. Hop down into a hallway of sorts and loop around left into the adjacent alcove to find a wall switch that opens the E door. Go on through and the door closes behind you.
Search between the jars for shotgun ammo, go through the N opening and turn right to see a large medipack. You might expect the nearby spike wall to start coming toward you when you pick it up, but that's not the case. Turn around and look up to see the jump switch. When you activate it the spikes retract, which comes as a pleasant surprise. You can now climb the wall ladder past a small gap that you can't crawl into. Take a rolling back flip to grab the ledge behind you, pull up and run past and around the awakened skeleton to find a wall switch that re-opens the door below. Get the skeleton to take a whack at you while you're standing next to the large jar, so that it will shatter and enable you to pick up the SHOTGUN and a second HEXAGRAM STAR.
Get down, exit W and continue into the opening at the other end of the walkway. Mount the wall ladder and shift right along the slope and drop at the top. Pull up E to some higher steps, go up and open the door to a small room. Go through the opening to an outdoor area, shoot three scorpions and find receptacles for your Hexagram Stars. The huge stone door lifts, so enter the round room, loop around left into the corner alcove and face S. Jump up to activate a jump switch that opens a door in the upper passage to your left, climb the ladder to get there and go around to an opening. Take a running jump to grab the rope, turn 90 degrees left, swing and jump off to land inside the E passage.
Follow to a room with a burning bowl, safety drop from the ledge and slide down to a lower room where three roller blades are activated. Jump up into the alcove to your left for shotgun ammo, get down and time a run past the roller blades and teeth doors, step back to pick up the CRESCENT MOON with some likely health loss, step forward to the wall again and time a single hop back past the teeth doors. Turn around, time a run past the roller blades and face SW. A ceiling trap door has opened, so time a run there and pull up into a crawl space. Crawl until you can stand, run forward and another trap door will open as you approach. Pull out right, jump to grab the rope and this time swing forward and jump into the N opening. Go down the steps, climb down the ladder and exit to the outdoor area.
Turn left, go to the SW corner and open the doors. Enter the passage, shoot out the window pane and step out onto a balcony. Find a break in the railing, hop to the ground and loop right past the closed gate. Pull up two times E, combine the Sun Disk and Crescent Moon and place the SYZYGY SYMBOL in the receptacle to set off some pyrotechnics that cause the exit gate to open. Hop to the ground, stand at the gateway to observe some interesting things outside, then walk toward them to end the level.
