Main Cave
Slide down the small slope and pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO and SMALL MEDIPACK. Climb the ledge west and drop into the small gap north. Shoot the two BATS and crawl into the crawlspace. Drop into the room, shoot another BAT, pull the wall switch and exit. Climb out south and east back to the main cave. Head north towards the gate and shoot the two NINJAS that attack. Head west, jump to the green ledge and drop into the water hole. Swim through the underwater tunnel to the end and pull up west. Climb the two ladders, head through the corridor and through the double doors.
Secondary Cave
Shoot the two NINJAS and pickup the two SHOTGUN AMMO they drop. Head to the south/east corner, drop into the hole on the left and pickup the HK AMMO. Head north/west, around the rock cliff and pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO in the small room north/east. Continue east, then south through the middle of the rock cliff. Drop then head east, then jump and grab the white ledge north. Jump backwards and grab the next white ledge behind. Shimmy around the column then jump back and grab the next white ledge behind. Shimmy around this column then jump back and land on the gold ledge west. Pickup the LARGE MEDIPACK and take a standing jump to grab the white ledge again. Shimmy right, jump back, grab the ledge and pull up into the crawlspace. Head into the small room, pull the wall switch to open a large gate back in the cave. Climb down the ladder, head through the opened door, head towards the closed double doors and shoot the two NINJAS lurking around. Continue to the south/west corner and through the newly opened gate. Enter the room, push the wall switches with Rose Tiles only and watch a cutscene of a door opening back in the cave. Exit and head left (north). Head right (east) then south between the rocky columns to the water hole at the end.
Drop into the water, follow the green corridor west and surface into a small room. Pickup the SMALL MEDIPACK and SHOTGUN AMMO. Push the wall switch and a door slowly opens in an area with skulls and lamenting souls. Drop back into the water, swim forward then left (north). Swim up then left and right through the opened gate. Swim right (east) then DOWN and surface up the two ladders to take you back to the secondary cave. Head north/west to the room between two red pillars and continue through the corridor north. Pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO and go through the door as it opens automatically.
Lamenting Souls Room
Continue through the north door, arm weapons and shoot the two TINNOS MONSTERS that appear. Head to the north/west corner and pickup the HK AMMO. Head to the south/west corner and jump to grab the crevice. Shimmy to the right around the corner and jump up to grab the next crevice. Shimmy to the right and jump up to grab the next crevice. Jump back to grab the column behind and pull up. Angle to face north/east and take a running jump to the lower ledge. Take a standing jump to the ledge south/east and a standing jump to the ledge north/east. Take a running jump to the alcove north/west and push the wall lever to open the 1st door (swirl symbol) on the ground floor. Angle to face north/east and take a running jump to the ledge. Follow the ledge around and to the end (west). Take a running jump to the column north, climb the block east and take a running jump with grab to the horizontal swing poles. Grab the block and pull up. Jump to grab the crevice and jump up to grab the top of the column. Face west and take a standing jump with grab to the horizontal swing poles and jump to grab the block. Angle to face north/east and take a running jump with grab (to change trajectory) to land in the alcove. Head through the corridor, pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO and either run past the SKELETON and jump over the gap or shoot him into the gap. Take a running jump with grab to the column. Angle to face south/east and take a standing jump down to the ledge. Take a running jump into the alcove east and push the wall switch to open the 2nd door (eye tear symbol). Climb the block, drop east and push the wall switch to open the 3rd door (diamond arrow symbol). Angle to face south/east and take a running jump to the ledge. Head south and take a running jump with grab to the column across the gap. Face west and take a running jump to grab the horizontal swing poles. Grab the block, pull up and climb the ladder. Pull up, head through the corridor and either run past the SKELETON or shoot him into the gap. Take a running jump with grab to the alcove east and pickup the SMALL MEDIPACK. Take a running jump with grab back across the gap and head right (north) through the corridor. Run past the SKELETON to the outside ledge and shoot him off the edge. Head south then turn west (right) onto the 2nd walkway, drop down at the end and push the wall switch to open the 4th door (circle stick symbol). Climb up and shoot the TINNOS MONSTER. Head east across the walkway, then left (north) and right (east) back into the corridor. Continue to the end and climb down the ladder. Take a running jump to the column north, a running jump to the column west and a standing jump with grab to the crevice in the column south. Drop and grab the crevice below, shimmy left around the corner, drop and grab the crevice below, safety drop to ground floor.
Secret #6: Head to the south/east corner, reverse roll and head to a checkered trigger tile near the first column north/west. TIMED RUN: Step onto the trigger tile, angle to face north/east and sprint to the far corner and enter the timed gate before it closes. Head through the corridor and through the gate. Head forward careful not to touch the two blue/green checkered trigger tiles on the left and right (each triggers an enemy). Head left (south) and pickup the GOLDEN ROSE and SMALL MEDIPACK. Exit the alcove left into another alcove and pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO. Exit the alcove, head to the north/east corner and pickup the HK AMMO. Continue around the perimeter back to the entrance gate. Run over one of the two trigger tiles and shoot the TINNOS MONSTER. Run over the other trigger tile and shoot the next TINNOS MONSTER. Pickup the two LACRIMA items, head to the north/west corner and place the Lacrima in the receptacle. Reverse roll, head forward and place the other Lacrima in the receptacle to open the gate. Head through the gate, down the corridor back to the main area. Exit the area via the opening south.
Swirl Symbol (South/East Corner)
Head through the corridor, approach the gate as it opens automatically and navigate through the swinging fire balls before the inferno ignites the floor. Pickup the LARGE MEDIPACK, continue north, climb the east block, go through the gate and pickup the LACRIMA item. Climb into the crawlspace in the north/east corner, push the wall switch and watch a cutscene of a flower door not opened yet (for Secret#8). Climb the block west and drop into the water. Swim through the tunnel and surface at the end. Head through the gate as it opens automatically, turn right (west), arm weapons and shoot the three NINJAS. Exit back to the green hub room.
Eye Tear Symbol (North/West Corner)
Head through the corridor, drop to the ground, shoot the BATS and TINNOS MONSTER. Head around the perimeter and shoot another BAT. Jump across the water to the walkway and climb the ladder south. Pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO, push the wall switch and watch a cutscene of three flame pedestals igniting (left/right/front). TIMED RUN: Before exiting, step onto the red/green checkered trigger tile in the north/east corner to open a gate back in the room below. Safety drop to the lower room, run to the south/west corner, climb the block and enter the gate before it closes. Push the wall switch for a cutscene of a flower door not opened yet (for Secret #8). Pickup the LARGE MEDIPACK and SHOTGUN AMMO and drop back into the lower room. Head north over the walkway and shoot two BATS. Climb the ladder north, pickup the SMALL MEDIPACK and push the wall switch for a cutscene showing only two fire pedestals igniting (left/back). Exit down the ladder, head south then east and climb into the alcove east. Push the wall switch for a cutscene showing only one fire pedestal igniting (front). Exit the alcove, drop into the water and surface just in front of the wall switch west (any other tile catches on fire). Push the wall switch and watch a cutscene of all four fire pedestals igniting and the blue flame at the back extinguishing. Head to the north/west corner, through a corridor and down a long ladder to the fire pedestal room. Crawl through the crawlspace at the back, climb into the alcove on the right and pickup the HK AMMO. Exit and crawl into the crawlspace to the left of the gate, drop into the alcove which seems to extinguish the fire pedestals beside the closed gate. Exit the crawlspace and run over the two trigger tiles in the north/east and north/west corners. Enter through the newly opened gate and pickup the 2nd LACRIMA. Exit the room through the crawlspace north, shoot the two NINJAS and pickup the SMALL MEDIPACK and SHOTGUN AMMO they drop. Climb the long ladder back to the previous room and head through the exit in the south/east corner back to the green hub room.
Circle Stick Symbol (South/West Corner)
Head through the corridor, climb the ladder at the end, shimmy right and drop into the upper corridor. Head into the room west. Pull/push the block in the north/west corner and place onto the HIEMS tile. Pull/push the block in the south/west corner and place onto the AUTUMNUS tile. Push/pull the block in the south/east corner AESTAS tile. Exit the room through the east opening, turn right (south) then left (east) and drop into the hole at the end. TIMED RUN: Push the wall switch, jump out of the hole and sprint through the corridor, back into the room and left (south) through the gate before it closes. Pull/push the block through the gate and place onto the VER tile to open the large door in the west wall. Head through the newly opened door, run west over the two light blue trigger tiles to open the door above the diamond block. Climb the block and pickup the 3rd LACRIMA in the alcove. Drop down, head to the alcove in the south/east corner with the two “angry head” blocks and run over the three red trigger tiles to open the gate in the north/east corner. Push the wall switch and watch the flower door opening back in the secondary cave (for Secret #8). Exit the room via the large opening east, past the pushblocks and through the opening east. Angle to face south/east and take a standing jump to grab the ladder and climb to the bottom. Exit east back to the hub room, exit through the door south and east back to the secondary cave.
Diamond Arrow Symbol (North/East Corner)
TIP: To reduce backtracking for Secret #8, complete this room LAST. Head through the corridor, down two ladders and down the corridor to the gate as it opens automatically. Arm the shotgun and shoot the two SKELETONS that attack. Pickup the SMALL MEDIPACK north/west. Wait for one row of flames to extinguish then take running jumps across the ledges to the end. Reverse roll, arm the shotgun and shoot the two SKELETONS that attack. Run over the red checkered trigger tile in front of the gate to open it and head through. Pickup the HK AMMO in the north/east corner. Run over the three red checkered trigger tiles to open the gate, climb the diamond block and pickup the 4th LACRIMA in the alcove. Drop back down and exit back to the blue flames room. Head north and take a running jump west avoiding the blue flame. Climb into the alcove and push the wall switch to see a flower door not opened yet (for Secret #8). Drop to the ledge and take a running jump back to the ledge east. Head back through the east gate, head to the south/east corner, pull out the pushblock, head down the corridor and enter the cave. Shoot the five BATS around the perimeter of the cave and pickup the SMALL MEDIPACK, SHOTGUN AMMO and two HK AMMO.
Secret #7: TIMED RUN: Climb the ledge in the north/east corner, reverse roll and take a running jump south. Sprint forward and run left into the timed gate before it closes. Pickup the HK AMMO and head through the gate back to the cave.
Climb the blocks in the south/west corner, head down the corridor and drop into the water. Swim through the underwater corridor and surface into another small room. Pickup the SMALL MEDIPACK and SHOTGUN AMMO. Head through the south/west corridor and climb the ladder to the top. Head down the corridor, crawl through the space, hang on the ledge and jump back to grab the ledge behind. Arm weapons and shoot the three NINJAS below.
Secret #8: Face north and take a standing jump over the slope and drop to the blue ledge on the left. Head north and climb into the crawlspace east. Crawl north, drop to the blue ledge ahead and pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO. Continue north and push the wall switch to open the flower double doors in the cave area below. Head south, take a standing jump to the rock ledge north/east and a standing jump to the blue ledge east. Continue east, take a standing jump to the block north/east and pickup the SMALL MEDIPACK and HK AMMO. Drop back to the blue ledge and safety drop down to the cave area below. Head east, climb the rocks and head through the newly opened flower double doors on the left (north). Pickup the GOLDEN ROSE in the alcove east and pickup the HK GUN, SHOTGUN AMMO, SMALL MEDIPACK and UZI AMMO in the back room. Exit back to the secondary cave area.
Secondary Cave
Climb the rock south, take a running jump west and continue to the room in the north/west corner. Place the four Lacrima gems in the receptacles and watch the double block platform move in a previous room. Exit the room south and head east into the room on the left (north). Shoot the TINNOS MONSTER or just drop into the hole and shoot the NINJA or just head down the corridor for a level change.
LEVEL 3 – The Tomb of Eve (3 Secrets)
Main Hub
Use the flare key to light the PLS and head through the corridor into a small cave. Continue north through a structure with a closed gate that opens automatically as you approach. Head left (west) into the room just before the gate and pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO. Exit and head forward (east) into the room and pickup the SMALL MEDIPACK. Exit and head through the gate north.
West Hub Entrance
Climb the block west, arm the shotgun, drop down and shoot the two SKELETONS into the fiery gap south opening a gate in the south/west corner. Head through the gate, down the corridor to a room with platforms and four closed gates. Take a running jump to the platform west and a running jump with grab to the blue rose platform opening one gate in the north wall. Take running jumps to the platform north and to the opened gate north. Head through the corridor, jump (with grab to change trajectory) across the spike gap and pickup the SMALL MEDIPACK and SHOTGUN AMMO at the end of the corridor. Exit the corridor, over the spike gap back outside.
North Gate: Maze of Madness
Take running jumps to the platform south and to the blue rose platform. Take a running jump to the red rose platform west to open another gate in the north wall. Take running jumps to the platform north and to the opened gate north. Hug the left wall, drop down south and climb the ladder west. At the top, hug the left wall and pickup the SMALL MEDIPACK and SHOTGUN AMMO at the end. Reverse roll, continue hugging the left wall where the maze changes to show a gate opening ahead. Shoot the TINNOS MONSTER and pickup the 1st LACRIMA HEVAE it leaves behind. Crawl through the crawlspace in the south/west corner, climb the block south and drop into the water south. Swim through the underwater corridor and surface west. Hug the right wall, climb down the ladder, reverse roll and head forward (north) as the maze changes show to a gate opening ahead. Shoot the TINNOS MONSTER and pickup the 2nd LACRIMA HEVAE it leaves behind. Head to the south/west corner and crawl through the crawlspace. Climb the block south and drop into the water south. Swim through the underwater corridor and surface west.
Facing west, hug the left wall continually around then climb down the metal ladder. Face west, continue hugging the left wall and climb down another metal ladder. Face south, hug the left wall, drop down, continue hugging the left wall and drop down again. Face north, hug the left wall, climb the ladder and backflip to the ledge behind. Head east hugging the left wall, ignoring the wooden ladder and head into a room with flames. Shoot the two SKELETONS into the water and pickup the 1st and 2nd SIGILLUM HEVAE on the blocks.
Secret #9: Drop into the south/west water hole, swim through the underwater corridor and surface. Pickup the LARGE MEDIPACK, SMALL MEDIPACK and SHOTGUN AMMO. Drop back into the water, swim through and surface back into the flames room.
Exit the room north, hug the right wall and climb the wooden ladder on the right (south). Hug the left wall around until reaching a gap north. Face north/east and take a standing jump (with grab to change trajectory) over the gap. Continue hugging the left wall and pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO. Continue hugging the left wall and climb the metal ladder south. Continue to the south wall then turn right (west). Continue west until the maze changes to show an opening ahead. Drop down, head to the opening in the south/west corner and shoot the TINNOS MONSTER. Pickup the 3rd LACRIMA HEVAE it leaves behind and crawl through the crawlspace in the south/west corner. Climb the block south and drop into the water south. Swim through the underwater corridor and surface west. Head forward (west), then left (south), then right (west) and pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO and SMALL MEDIPACK. Exit and head east down the corridor to the end, then right to exit back outside.
West Gate
Take a running jump to the platform south and continue on the platform to open two more gates south and west. Take standing jumps south to the red rose and white lily platforms. Take a running jump to the platform west, a standing jump to the white rose platform and a running jump to the opened gate west. Head through the corridor and pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO and SMALL MEDIPACK.
Secret #10: N.B. You need 3 Lacrima Hevae in inventory for this secret. Continue to the end of the corridor and push the flower pushblock. Crawl through the crawlspace and place 3 Lacrima Hevae into the receptacles to open the gate. Head through and pickup the SMALL MEDIPACKS, SHOTGUN AMMO, HK AMMO, GOLDEN ROSE and LACRIMA HEVAE.
Exit the corridor, take a running jump to the white rose platform, run onto the blue platform and take a running jump to the white lily platform. Take a standing jump to the platform south and a running jump to the opened gate south.
South Gate
Head through the gate slowly and stop just before entering the room. TIMED RUN: Angle to face south/east and run into the room as a timer starts. Run onto the “H” tile, then take a standing jump to the “E” tile. Walk across the “V” tile, take a standing jump to the “A” tile, walk over the “E” tile to open the gate in the south wall. Jump through the gate before deadly flames start blasting. Head through the opening west and take a running jump with grab to the column. Angle to face north/west and when the block comes close, take a standing jump to the moving block. Take a standing jump to the white lily flower column and a standing jump with grab (to change trajectory) into the opening north. Drop into the small room, climb the block and pickup the 3rd SIGILLUM HEVAE. Exit the room, take standing jumps to the white lily flower column, the moving block, to another white lily column and a standing jump with grab (to change trajectory) to the opening in the east wall. Head through the corridor and through the newly opened gate east. Arm the shotgun and shoot the SKELETON off the edge. When the flames subside take a running jump to the white lily block east. Take a step then a standing jump to grab the edge of the next block. Wait for the flames to subside, pull up and take a running jump to the ledge. Pickup the SMALL MEDIPACK, climb into the alcove and climb the ladder. Climb the block, arm the shotgun and shoot the SKELETON into the deadly liquid. Pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO and HK AMMO. Jump onto the green rock and pickup the 4th SIGILLUM HEVAE. Head through the newly opened gate east and climb down the ladder. Head through the gate as it opens automatically back to the beginning of the main cave hub.
East Hub Entrance
Secret #11: N.B. You need one Lacrima Hevae in inventory for this secret. If you want to get all secrets, you need to get the Lacrima Hevae from Secret #10 first before using any other ones for this secret. Climb the block east, arm weapons and shoot the two TINNOS MONSTERS. Place the Lacrima Hevae in the receptacle and head through the opened gate. Pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO and SMALL MEDIPACKS. Exit through the gate and climb the block out to the main hub.
North Hub Entrance
Use the 4 Sigillum Hevae in the receptacles to open the door north. Head through the door and climb the ladder to the top into a large open room with a lower platform, two ladders and an upper closed gate. Safety drop to the lower platform and head to the north/east corner. Safety drop to the platform below, push the wall switch and watch a cutscene of the gate above closed. Head to the south wall and safety drop to the platform below. Push the wall switch for another look at the closed gate. Head to the east wall and safety drop to the platform below. Push the wall switch for a cutscene of the gate opening. Safety drop to the ground level, arm weapons and shoot the TINNOS MONSTER. Pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO, SMALL MEDIPACK and HK AMMO. Climb the ladder and backflip to the ledge at the top. Climb the ladder in the south/west corner, take a standing jump to the block south and pickup the SMALL MEDIPACK. Take a running jump with grab to the block east and pickup the HK AMMO. Take a running jump with grab west and a standing jump back to the gate and head through the newly opened gate.
Head through the corridor to a series of swinging fire pots. Pickup the HK AMMO on the left (west) and SHOTGUN AMMO on the right (east). Avoid the swinging pots through the corridor to the end gate as it opens when you approach. Shoot the two TINNOS MONSTERS in the room and pickup the LACRIMA HEVAE they leave behind. Head through the newly opened gate north/east. Pickup the two SHOTGUN AMMO and SMALL MEDIPACK around the perimeter. Climb the ladder at the south/west opening and place the Lacrima Hevae in the receptacle to open the gate west wall. Head through the gate and pickup the LACRIMOSA on the right (north). Head through the gate to end the level.
