Reviewer's comments
"Literally over in about 5 mins if that, i was like is that it?! nice setting in a easter garden and then about 3 or 4 rooms in a house, pulling switches, opening doors, collecting eggs and placing one, i liked finding a random lever and then placing it on a well to pull it to open a door but come on wheres the gameplay here? nice to look around and briefly explore but very disappointing because of the length unfortunately" - John (17-Aug-2021)
"A charming Easter release but indeed too brief to be rated higher by me. The textures and lighting are bright and cheerful and exploration for the various eggs is quite fun for the seven minute duration, but it's not entirely memorable." - Ryan (16-Dec-2017)
"I did play this level shortly after it was out but forgot to make a review. Well.. all is not lost as it is a small level and this time camera work is added so no running around like I did in the previous one. And a Happy Eastern to you as well." - Gerty (13-May-2012)
"A quick 7 minute run for me in this bright and colourful lever. The easter-eggs are pretty easy to find, and there's no nasty's wandering around so it's suitable for children. Would have liked a little more effort on the out-door spaces which were just a bit too bright for me. If you're in the Easter mood this should do you fine, Stiggy." - TheStig (01-Apr-2012)
"Very small this level; you'll find the eggs easily. No much tasks to do, only pull some switches and use a lever. Explore a small area (very few rooms) full of colouful objects and no more. Textures don't fit well, even in the pool, and lights are not worked (too bright). Too simple for my taste; good for children." - Jose (14-Jul-2011)
"This has the feel of a German level (even though it isn't);lots of unusual and colourful objects, some of which are interactive and some not;interesting and bright location;and gameplay which involves hunting for strange looking items...although there the Germanic resemblance ends,as there's really not terribly much to the gameplay. Collect a bunch of eggs;use one;and it's all over. Nonetheless, the hidden-in-plain-sight lever had me going for a while;the texturing was generally accomplished;ambient sounds well chosen;and the lighting was vibrant. Pleasant enough for the fifteen minutes it took me (ten if you locate the lever first time)." - Orbit Dream (03-Jul-2011)
"How did the author manage to create a backtrack in a game comprising of one backyard and one house? How did Lara's mother NOT manage to find those eggs by herself? How did it happen I spent seven minutes in here because I didn't notice where the well is? Also, how it was possible for me to get stuck for several seconds in the egg puzzle part? For the first two questions, I have no idea. For the latter two, I have a common answer: it happened just because in a game like this a player does not expect the author to require him/her to solve something in a certain moment. So an advice for the builder: either make a level easy, or difficult. Or graduate gameplay difficulty. Any extreme difference in this field can make people stuck. However, the game is quite pretty, except the egyptian pool and squished top of the surrounding wall. Weird thing with the deer, and I like putting some Xmas mood into an Easter level. I think if this level was created by me, I would do exactly the same thing. SUMMARY: It's very likely that if You don't get stuck like me You will have less than five minutes in stats. Played right after Peaceful Valley or The Rainbow Eggs, this level appears totally, totally disappointing - like the author intended to make a nice, pretty, short break and put a lot of pretty objects together (sometimes so many You can't proceed) in order to achieve it, assuming it's enough to do the thing. I don't know if it was like this or not - I just tell how it feels like. More creativity next time, please. This is what really does do the thing." - DJ Full (20-May-2011)
"I really liked the idea of searching few Easter Eggs, but this was mostly too easy and at one point too obscure (the lever). Texturing has several mistakes and there was not much lighting. However - sound choice was really fitting. All in all, it was a nice little Easter level, but the many interesting objects made this level feel better than it was." - manarch2 (04-May-2011)
"What is called 'hunt' in the title of the level is opening a door, taking the egg, opening the next door for another egg - and so on. Highlight is definitly the 'task' of finding a piece of wood called lever and using it outside in the garden. A nice peaceful atmosphere with som bird's twittering is quite convincing. Something for a rainy evening." - Christian (01-May-2011)
"A brightly colored ten-minute search for Easter eggs--the title says it all. A simple level, so the scores are low, but this is pleasant and charming to play. Can be a welcome break, not just for children. The only curious find was a crank for the well. Experienced players know instantly where this item goes, but I remember when this puzzle part was first used it perplexed some players. The statistics screen doesn't keep count of eggs found, so keep a mental total." - dmdibl (01-May-2011)
"I had a lot of fun setting this up and watching the newest and youngest Raider in the family trying to remember the controls, especially getting Lara to swim. She was delighted with it all and getting the well to work brought much laughter - a nice discovery for her. The only problem was the length of game time as she could have gone on and on....etc.
Perfect for the little ones learning some of what Lara can do and a quick, relaxing Hunt for the seasoned Raider." - Bene (01-May-2011)
"This was a very short adventure exploring a house and garden but I liked it. The rooms were small but I liked exploring for the eggs. The only egg you need to finish the game is the blue egg I think. The house was nice with a little garden in it although there were no bedrooms in the house. It was really really hard to know where to use the lever for me but I eventually found where to use it. The objects were placed nicely and there were a lot of objects arounf the house and gardens which made it a lot better. The lighting wasn't the best but it didn't bother me. Fun and if you're looking for a fun, quiet but short adventure then this level is for you." - afzalmiah (27-Apr-2011)
"The Flyby at the level beginning is made quite nice, indeed, it would have been nicer if the camera had gone away over the tree. There are a few sound problems and there is no reasonable lighting. Moreover, the level is a little bit too short with about 8-minute playing time. On the other hand, the level builder has applied the textures cleanly and has placed a few nice objects. It is clearly recognizable that the level builder must still collect a lot of experience. Although this is his second level, but he still has some way to go if he wants to build a really good level. Because the level looks good, one can get over the deficiencies and has a nice little level for in between." - Scottie (26-Apr-2011)
"I am a huge fan of the more colourful old-skool type levels as opposed to the more advanced levels & settings which always appear gloomy and dull in hue by comparison. A short level but with a pleasant and warm spring feel to it. Not very challenging but a lovely mini-adventure to enjoy during a coffee break with Lara looking for Easter eggs in her nice summer outfit. As specified by others, an excellent choice for young children or new Raiders." - High Priestess (26-Apr-2011)
"A lovely little Easter Egg hunt, no baddies, no danger, no need for guns, just find the eggs and leave. Simple, straightforward and an utter delight. This was probably designed for the kiddies but should appeal to the child in all of us. Light and bright, it definitely has a carefree atmosphere and must be recommended as a panacea for all ills!" - Diz (26-Apr-2011)
"This was a bit of a disappointment after the much more complex Rainbow Eggs, but it appears to have been intended for the youngsters, which is a fine thing for the Easter season. Even I was able to navigate it without benefit of cheats or walkthrough, but I got hung up at the end for a few minutes because I missed seeing the lever for the well the first time around. Your net gaming time won't be much longer than it takes to download the level, but it's worth it if only for the bright and cheery ambiance." - Phil (26-Apr-2011)
"A very short and easy little Easter Egg hunt, but still a fun and enjoyable little level for the season. It only lasts about 7-8 minutes with a few switches to flip to open doors and get inside and around the house. You can search a few eggs (which are not very hidden though) and get a nice message at the end." - MichaelP (25-Apr-2011)
"What a sweet little Easter level - colourful, bright and cheerful house and garden settings, glorious birdsong and Lara looking really summery in her pretty top and shorts. OK, so the eggs are easy to find (you will note from the readme that you have to keep your own stats on numbers), but it's such a pleasant task in these surroundings that you will just want to relax and let the delightful atmosphere wash over you. This would be an absolutely ideal level for children or newbie raiders, but really it's for any player in need of a nice little holiday. Charming." - Jay (25-Apr-2011)
"This is a nice and short Easter egg hunt where Lara gets to find a few eggs and explore the small area in and around the house to progress to the final room with the Happy Easter wishes. Peaceful, colorful and very easy, so it would be a perfect level for kids and beginners. Definitely recommended if you want something relaxing for in between. (About 7 min, 0 secrets found)" - Blue43 (25-Apr-2011)
