Reviewer's comments
"ive not played a level like this before its very funny and also quite simple but quirky and Very well made. i love the cut-scenes and dialogues with the farmer and exploring around the cramped little home finding objects to collect and interact with was interesting, like combining a broken shovel with glue to open up an underground area, and then defrosting a bomb how intriguing! pushing the block off the farmer was funny and initially i didnt wanna kill the bunnies but they were evil killers so had to die haha! the only thing that was disappointing was the length, i wanted to play more!" - John (18-Aug-2021)
"10 minutes of play for a very fun level, many new objects with which it is necessary to interact. The audios are very pretty. some missing textures, too bad for such a small level." - Drakan (10-Nov-2018)
"You'll undoubtedly get a quirky and outlandish level from DJ Full and this is no eggception ;). This was brilliant I have to say. It is more of a concept level than anything else, so it's very short, but I loved the custom objects (the cat being rescued from a washing machine...brilliant), the hilarious cutscenes, the dialogues between Lara and the farmer, especially when he tells her off for destroying his windows and the adorable but ferocious rabbits. The farmer's fate is supposedly shown when Lara examines his immobile body, while more rabbits approach. Eggstraordinary!" - Ryan (20-Oct-2017)
"As can be eggspected from a level by DJ Full, this is a funny, silly, occasionally surreal, and very enjoyable level. The description states that it is mostly a cutscene, so I initially thought that the gameplay would be minimal; however, as it turns out, there's plenty to do, though the level lasts only 20 minutes (including the cutscenes). Lara helps a farmer fend off an attack of killer bunnies (yes, you read that right ;) ) that have invaded his farm and home. The gameplay mostly involves fetch quests, as Lara looks for objects and increasingly powerful weapons to take down the waves of bunnies. There are plenty of hilarious bits such as Lara releasing a cat that was trapped in the washing machine; finding dynamite in the fridge, and then thawing it in a cauldron in the fireplace; the farmer hanging from a tree to escape the bunnies; the notes on the farmer's bulletin board that include things such as 'write epic symphony' and 'save the world' among more ordinary to-do items.
The farmer provides instructions to Lara throughout the level, and the dialogue between him and Lara is enjoyable as well. The music is lovely, especially the final track.
The house is well built, with a lot of customized objects, but unfortunately all the walls are paper-thin, which spoils the realistic feel a bit. The cramped spaces make it difficult to navigate at times, and the camera has a tendency to go through the walls if you try to look around. It's far too easy to get to the end of the world (with just a couple of ordinary jumps) and even to see untextured parts of the surrounding land. A little more beta-testing would have helped avoid such situations.
Overall: Though noticeably flawed, this is a unique level that's a lot of fun to play. Hopefully the eggstended version will see the light of day eventually. Recommended." - Mytly (28-Jun-2016)
"What a surprise this was! This takes place in a charming farmers cottage in the countryside, and you have to defend him from unwanted attacks by some very scary and very nasty looking killer rabbits. They seem to breed like rabbits (excuse the pun) and the only way to get rid of them once and for all is by using some frozen dynamite. The farmer seems to have locked his feline friend in the washing machine by accident presumably, so kitty isn't best pleased when he is eventually set free. The ending is a little sad since the farmer gets knocked out by a giant egg, although I'm guessing it's a chocolate egg so it's not all doom and gloom! I got about 40 minutes out of this level, and a few funny moments and a few sad ones too." - sonnyd83 (13-Aug-2015)
"Considering the author of this level,i wouldn't have expected this level to be void of humor.Weird but funny humor.I sure can't wait for the full game." - janachorider (10-Aug-2015)
"This level was just hilarious to play, the author has a great sense of humour. There is a lot of crazyness going on in this level that you just have to experience. As far as gameplay goes it is the find an object and place it where it belongs type but i feel it didn't matter too much anyway. Sadly i were able to reach the end of the world very easily which could have been avoided and there were some missing textures behind the house. Camera usage is impressive to say the least especially the scene with the eggs in the sky. Voice acting is good and there were plenty of laughs during the time i spent here. I do recommend you to check this one out." - totizedger (23-Jun-2015)
"This author never lets indifferent to everybody; you can love or hate his levels. This time there are fantastic objects, a very good use of the cameras and musics and cool animations too. The enemies are only rabbits and I found missing textures in the backside of the house and illegal slopes. Not very fluid the gameplay even when there's a small area to explore, but finally you can find the locations to place the objects and continue playing. Take an attemp, you will not regret." - Jose (26-Apr-2015)
"You should know by now that playing a level by Maciej you should expect the un-expected. It is lovely little romp and better inspect everything and try if you can interact with it. The slaughter of all the bunnies is a minor point in my books, but you can avoid most of it by not picking up the heavy weapons. I completely forgot that I had the key for the music room, but hey this way I even found the slide that brought me only to the closed gate. As for textures, could be done better, there were even some missing ones. The enemies are hilarious and the objects are pretty darn good. Give it a go if only for pure entertainment purposes." - Gerty (23-Apr-2015)
"It could ONLY be a DJFull level.Putting aside the gameplay (which is sometimes a matter of randomness;or,at the very least,of putting yourself in the mind of the builder - an impossibility in this case!),this is a fantastic and immensely funny twenty minute zany adventure, full to the brim with wonderful moments. The Cat coming out of the fridge;the boulder sequence;the opening cut scene. All the various categories are faultless and brilliantly achieved;and it even has a Mike Oldfield score (I even spent some time identifying each excerpt). Great fun,and utterly replayable." - Orbit Dream (20-Apr-2015)
"This is an Easter level, to be sure, but an Easter level with a vengeance. The cute little bunnies aren't there to be fawned over but to be blown away. The builder's trademark quirkiness is riddled throughout this 20-minute tidbit, which takes place entirely within the confines of a small farmhouse and the yard outside. The textures are somewhat crude but not gratingly so, and the lighting is perfect indoors and outdoors. The builder's walkthrough, which required a bit of interpretation in places, was quite helpful. This level is apparently the introduction to an eggstended series, so I'm looking forward to the continuation." - Phil (19-Apr-2015)
"Gameplay & Puzzles: There is a very nice storyline but not much gameplay to score, many objects to pick up and place and sometimes obscure. I had fun in this level but in other ways. Enemies, Objects & Secrets: This category is more like it. Fantastic objects, great use of enemies, almost nothing to complain. Not a 10 because of no secrets and a bit buggy objects (at some pick ups, the house wall and window objects are not perfect and create object cracks), but otherwise very good. Atmosphere, Sound & Cameras: Cameras are the best thing in here, incredibly artistic. The sound is good too, and atmosphere has only the problem that there is not much space to explore and there are only few things to see. Lighting & Textures: The texture set is again good and mostly textures are well used but sometimes not quite. The lighting is good, a bit too bright. Total: 6,5/10, as the builder says, a showcase, and very good at that, but not a real full level." - Rambo (17-Apr-2015)
"Trust Maciej to turn a calm Easter Holiday into a horror trip full of drama and suspense. And I mean that in a good way. I almost could not stop laughing for the entire 20 minutes of this absolutely brilliant work of art. Wonderful creativity and humour went into this and as a general concept it is just too far out from a regular playable level to score higher in the first category, but it really deserves to be seen by everyone for its pure entertainment value. Eggstraordinary fun indeed and I really hope there will be a continuation one day..." - MichaelP (13-Apr-2015)
"An admittedly very accomplished 'object showcase' this is, as you actually get 10 fairly fun minutes where you explore the house and its surroundings. The objects in particular are very well created, just as funny as to be expected from a DJ Full level (my favouite being the poor cat), and especially inside the house there's a great sense of 'realism' if one can call it so. The only problem was that grabbing the TNT is fairly buggy and I only managed it after closing and re-opening the game. The whole appearance of the game, enemy attacks, dialogues and story are very cinematic and professionally designed and everything just cries for more. Gameplay itself is restricted on finding and using the various objects, which is due to the task-based setup a rather fun thing, yet without any puzzles or other tasks else than exploring and a rather short time spent here I can't really give high marks (yet) - the full version will most likely be more rewarding in that regard. The atmosphere itself mainly lives from the variety of objects and great cameras, yet the setting itself is a bit simple and there are a few gripes like a few illegal slopes combined with missing textures behind the house, a few quite silent parts without music, the walls preventing from reaching the end of the world aren't the best choice and overall the architecture is a bit simple - but that mostly due because the explorable space is small. The choice of textures actually works fine and they are chosen with care, yet still feel a little eclectic and sometimes don't clash well with their neighbors; the lighting is quite good throughout though. But overall a very fun and very different level that feels like a promise for something great to come in the future." - manarch2 (11-Apr-2015)
"This delightfully quirky level will ensure you never look at fluffy little bunnies in the same way ever again. I found the dialogue amusing (it's about time someone told Lara off for her tendency to shoot out windows) and all the truly awful egg puns were guaranteed to appeal to an English player (we do like our puns, generally the more excrutiating the better). Great fun." - Jay (11-Apr-2015)
"God, I had so much fun playing this level. I laughed when I smashed gardener's windows, especially when he said ''I really like you, but YOU'RE GOING TO PAY FOR THAT!!!'' Also, I find this level the most original, because I never founded any levels that had a lot of enemies on Easter!? Bunny enemies!? That's because I love this level, it had a lot of enemies but it was easy to kill them with a shotgun. Whatever, this is a great level I recommend it to everyone play it." - LadyCroft (11-Apr-2015)
"Exceptionally unique level fun and wacky! I applaud the author for his originality. Looking forward to Part 2! Thumbs up!" - young Lara Croft (11-Apr-2015)
"Hahahaaaa.... Great! Had lots of fun although I needed the walkthrough, but that was also funny. Those comments when you shot something in the house...Eggceptional! Thanks for an enjoyable hour DJF" - Dutchy (10-Apr-2015)
"Loved the original story that goes with this good looking level and the gameplay was fun too - I never would've looked into the freezer if I haven't checked the walkthrough. There's lots of shooting too if you like that and some entertaining dialogue between Lara and her friend. I was kinda confused what to do at times because some of the key items you need and use may not look familiar. Anyway, it's short but very fun level to play so don't miss it!" - misho98 (08-Apr-2015)
