Reviewer's comments |
"Pink and Painful. As opposed to the proposal in the readme, I recommend not to play with
audio at 100%, but rather 0%. May increase your chances to stay sane, while you platform
your way through one boring square room after the next. Pop culture, ok - but even pop
culture can be presented in more interesting and entertaining ways, so strongly recommended
to avoid this one." - MichaelP (05-Feb-2024) |

"As much as I love these levels, I can't lie but say they are terrible. Basically big rooms
with any texturing but at least the audio was nice to listen to. There's really nothing to
comment as there isn't even much gameplay outside running around." - OblivionJaw (05-Dec-2023) |

"Let's call it a worthy sequel since the character is very similar to the first part. Looking forward to the trilogy finale, on one condition: it has to be as wacky as possible, cause I still see room for improvement. Recommended." - DJ Full (11-Aug-2022) |

"I'm surprised I didn't have my review posted here, as I wrote the walkthrough for this level a long time ago and thought I'd already sent in the comments. Okay; maybe I forgot. The level was not pleasant to play for me, due to the amount of textures applied with very bright colors that constantly damage the eyes, apart from the images of the woman everywhere are not very pleasant either. The architecture is very simple, based on interconnected boxes and rooms without objects; the level is very lineal, with very simple tasks based on pressing switches and the occasional jumping from platform to platform. Lighting is non-existent and the few enemies I encountered are all together in the same rooms. The music is strident and not at all appropriate for a game of this type. In short, nothing fun or enjoyable to play." - Jose (27-Jun-2022) |

"Shades of Amanda Lepore, which we should
be way past now... The sole gameplay
element here is comprised of dreary
platforming exercises (which have to be
repeated at certain times, thank God DOZY
was enabled) and the occasional ninja
attack, taking place among horrifically
explicit music and excruciating textures
(the pink hue throughout is pretty
headache-inducing). Avoid at all costs,
NOT fun in any way, shape or form." - Ryan (08-Dec-2021) |

"Feeling rather under the weather today, I browsed the review wishlist, saw this level sitting there and thought...why not? Let's get it one step closer to leaving review purgatory. There are two level options, "toned down" and "extreme", and I opted for the latter but I'm not sure if it is referring to gameplay or graphic content . Either way this is definitely "not safe for work" status, mainly because of the audio, although I found some of the textures a bit disturbing as well. The textures are very wallpapered, most are photographs but some are just a solid pink color, making it hard to see certain corridors. It's also a bit tough on the eyes, kind of like when a level has snow textures with the lighting cranked up to 128-128-128; here I think there were only two rooms that showed some attempt at dynamic lighting. Most of the level is boxy rooms with ledges sticking out, climbing these constitutes the majority of gameplay aside from shooting down a few TR4 goons and using a Ba Cartouche that found itself far away from home. Among the problematic aspects of this level is a lever switch with its trigger on the wrong tile (take a few steps back after using it) and being expected to traverse a tall ledge room up and back down – I opted to sacrifice a lot of health to drop down faster. I think the room with a sort of biography was a meaningless dead-end, but I could be wrong. 15 minutes." - JesseG (29-Nov-2021) |

"In the same way that Ms Ayesha wants, via her ostentatiously lurid lyrics, very much to proclaim to
the world that she has discovered sex;the level builder wants very much to proclaim to the world
that he has discovered how to stack rooms and thereby create platform jumping - which (aside from
the repetitive custom textures of the object of the builders desire;and the huge unlit rooms)
basically encapsulates this level. I found the enemy attacks near the end to be somewhat
unexpected;but everything else was tedious and hurtful to the eyes and ears. The builder offers
you two gameplay audio options: Toned Down (i.e. loud and unpleasant);or Extreme (loud,self-
consciously vulgar and unpleasant). I would offer a third: leave well alone on the Level Index." - Orbit Dream (17-Oct-2021) |

"This is like the last level of the builder but with even less care for room design and longer, but extremely repetitive gameplay design, nothing but boring platforming that took me 12 minutes to survive (literally). What would the singer say about this "tribute", especially considering her background that was printed on a wall here? Hopefully she never gets to know about it..." - manarch2 (14-Oct-2021) |
