After the battle of Falkirk, the friends of William Wallace, also known as Braveheart, hid his sword in the Castle of Bannockburn. This sword was a symbol of freedom for all Scottish people. For a few years, the sword was safely guarded by Scottish soldiers, but one night English knights attacked the castle and killed everyone. The symbol of Scotland was lost and the king of England had his revenge. Since that dark night, the Scottish had fought many fruitless battles in search of this sword and were beginning to think it was lost forever.. Until now... |
