Initially the level had been projected for the "Create a Classic 2019" competition. As the project became long and with some setbacks, it was eventually canceled and then resumed for completion. The story takes place after Lara arrives in Antarctica with the 4 artifacts until her encounter with Dr. Willard, meanwhile she must make her way through the facilities of a submarine stranded in the ice where the RX-Tech company carries out its secrets operations. Besides, when Lara is saved from sinking with the helicopter in the cold waters, she loses all weapons and mostly her entire arsenal. She only carries with her safely the 4 artifacts and some medipacks, flares and some ammunition from some weapons with her. Willard's Hideout level would be kind of a "redo" of the original Antarctica level. Enjoy! UPDATE 2021: The storyline has had to change briefly to match the changes and improvisations of the new version dated October 2021. Also the changes introduced make it slightly different from the original version of the level, so this new version will not match 100% with the walkthroughs that have been made or with the videos published on YouTube. UPDATE 2023: Include some bug fixes here and there ( hopefully the last!! ). And improved gameplay with Woops' and Troyes' patch. |
