Welcome back, it's been too long, we've missed you Lara has been rigorously searching for all the artifacts that mysteriously vanished on the night of the fire at Croft Manor. One of them, the Mask of Kheperkare*, was briefly mentioned in the Sunday Times interview with Sir Philip Montacute a self-made billionaire, investor in bioengineering, renowned asset stripper and suspected Trinity backer. To recover the mask, Lara has returned to one of Montacute's properties, Deadman's Keep, a place she visited many years ago. However, like all billionaires, Montacute has made significant changes, and he's not going to let it go without a fight. *The Mask of Kheperkare ( "the Ka of Re is created") is a gold funerary mask of the Twelfth dynasty ancient Egyptian pharaoh Kheperkare (Senusret I ). After being buried for nearly 4000 years, it was 'excavated' by Richard Croft in 1923 from the Pyramid at el-Lisht. It had been proudly displayed in Croft Manor from 1923 right up to the night of the fire. Authors Note: Inspired by TR 1-3 remastered here's a long overdue update and extension to my 2001 Level 'Deadman's Keep' fixing numerous issues and incoporating developments of the new level building tools. These are the first levels I've built since 2001. |
