[Day X - 23/7/23]
[Lara "Amicia" Croft]
[Tomb Raider Contingent]
[Temple of Akatesh, Eastern Sudan]
As part of the Tomb Raider Contingent: responsible for the securement and protection of ancient artifacts, alongside the deep research and knowledge gathering in order to understand the world behind what seams on the surface, her life was filled with various tombs, temples and ancient places to explore: her main objective was to uncover the lost mysteries of the world, and on a personal note: to have fun and enjoy the thrill of adrenaline pumping through her body as she fights and runs her way through all the challenges such places offer. At times, she even keeps a Teddy to fight the feeling of not knowing her place in the world, stemming from her family disowning her and that lingering sensation of failure coarsing through her veins at all times, no matter how fulfilled she is with her life.
Her feelings aside, this life of hers was far more than she could have ever asked for. And her next adventure wouldn't be any less: A quick errand to a Sudan Temple, named The Temple Of Akatesh, that is said to contain an Elder Scroll with information about the afterline and immortality. As per HQ's requests, she is picked as the Agent to go on the adventure. Packing her gear, she looks at her Teddy and grabs it, remembering that it'll be with her until she finds her real home.
Which might never happen, if she's honest. The calling of her life to uncover the mysteries of the world might consume her ability to have a real home. |
