Lara Croft, about 14 years ago, has attempted to reclaim the golden treasures of the Cambodian Temple deep within the jungles of Ta Nei, but only managed to get a golden skull, which was a far cry from her real goal: a golden pizza, a relic of the modern and the past that the ancients had discovered by sheer accident, securing it within an obscure temple in order to keep it away from heretics that could take advantage of it. After learning of the real temple's location, the one that was actually used to hide the pizza, Lara heads out yet again into the Cambodian jungles to reclaim a treasure lost lost to her for over 14 years...
But is greed of this caliber worth it? Is the cost of morality to defile something so sacred worth the ownership of the pizza? None consider if such artifacts are better left alone, and perhaps, just perhaps, this isn't worth it. Perhaps the preservation of artifacts is more important. Maybe, instead of stealing, Lara could preserve and take a step closer to godhood - one she knows exists, only achieved by those who selfishly retrieve artifacts of the past for the knowledge, and not the ownership. Such a minor difference and yet so major. Oh, and Von Croy also tagged along, although too old to actually help you, that lazy ass expiring twink.
What will you choose? Greed for Knowledge, or for the ownership of something lost to you for so long? |
