Years after the events occurred in the lost city of Tinnos, Lara finds out that the meteorite artifacts she acquired were just a copy; the original artifacts are still hidden in a Polynesian citadel on the foothills of Mount Erebus. Though Lara has to be quick, as the American government is now funding the old RX Tech, and they have already installed a base around the nearby caves to the location of the citadel and are planning to use the artifact to create super-soldiers. Lara's task is to retrieve the artifacts and destroy them so that no one can use them for evil means ever again. |
