This game was based on a crazy story I wrote on a Tomb Raider forum. I later took the theme and made it into an actual game level that worked fine on my old computer back in 2001. I had a 80 GB Drive, 360 RAM and good graphics card, and my computer also had Photoshop on it and Cubase, Flash 5 and a whole bunch of other programmes and even though I had Windows ME, a terrible programm for crashing, I never had any problems playing this level myself. I have read the reviews and am not offended - that was my first attempt at game creation and I know there was plenty of glitches in the game. The Game may seem far fetched to some, but it was based on the Urban Myth of an ancient civilization on Mars and I decided to put Lara Croft there to explore the Face. If you actually do reach the end of the level, Lara finds herself riding a motorbike down a passageway that leads to a Portal. End of Level. I was limited with props and things I could use in the tools of that particular version with the level editor. I have no idea of what is available nowadays, as I haven't played Tomb Raider for years, I will say this though, if there had been an optional Space Buggy and Space Suit for Lara to wear then of course I would have dressed her in it, but that was not in the game and the game makers of the time hadn't thought about outer space stuff. So I left it to the players' imagination that Mars either secretly had an atmoshpere or it had been recently Teraformed by NASA - anyway it's up to the player to decide - these are only ideas of mine based on what I've read and imagine.
