In this fourth episode,Lara learns about an ancient artifact that was broken off the top of the Necromancers staff. This was the source of all his power and in the wrong hands it could be deadly. She also learns that her old friend, Von Croy, is also on the look out and that he has a head-start. He is looking for the location of the Temple of the Damned - where this artifact is supposed to be found. The location of the Temple of the Damned can be found in a book at the library in Venice.
