Reviewer's comments
"A pretty short raid where Lara gets taunted by the tomb's inhabitant while searching for an amulet. While the level design doesn't put too much substance behind these taunts, I still appreciated the worldbuilding it adds to the adventure. There isn't too much more to say here, Lara will spend most of her time traveling from one switch to the next while contending with a couple of dogs, raptors, flames and spikes. Visuals are boxy and wallpapered with minimal changes in lighting. 17 minutes." - JesseG (08-Nov-2021)
"I've yet to play the first two parts of this series, but this one is a pretty basic level. You pretty much stumble upon secrets upon your path, and there were some unusual trigger placements, especially for deactivating spike traps (either by standing on what looks like a spike tile or by merely swimming into an alcove). It's short and quite linear though, so it's not all bad. 20 minutes, 2 secrets. 09/21" - Treeble (05-Sep-2021)
"The finale to this small trilogy is a slight but visible improvement on the previous two levels. Although the environments are still a bit too similar, the surroundings, lighting and textures are solid, and throughout Lara is accompanied by an eerie voice from an unknown source (voiced by none other than George Maciver), who taunts her at every opportunity despite the level not being tricky to get through (although the raptors and spike traps might prove a challenge). Fun but rather unremarkable and it lasted 19 minutes." - Ryan (25-Oct-2017)
"Didn't play the last two games from the series and after this i'm not really looking forward to it. It brought nothing to the table, the textures were oddly used and the level design was mediocre. Spend 20 minutes on this level. Do not recommend, although i did laugh a bit when hearing the guy speaking (loved the way he spoke!)" - Zhyttya (25-Mar-2016)
"A level brought you by "Capitan Obvious". This was a really simple and easy level, but that voice will stay in my head for a long time. The lightning wasn't that bad, especially on water but the rest was just normal. The Custom enemies was a nice touch and... well, that is all. It was a really small level, with simple puzzles and nothing new besides the voice acting. Just a straight forward experience with some random triggers and a love for leavers underwater" - Leeth (25-Mar-2016)
"Pretty much a slightly more refined version of what was on offer in 'The Raiders 1+2', with the only notable differences being the inclusion of raptors to the enemy roster of yetis and a sole jackal within the tomb, a random disembodied but incredibly disinterested-sounding voiceover from GMac that sounds a bit too quiet to hear effectively and nonsensical lava texture placements on some walls towards the end of this brief escapade. So if that sounds up your alley, I'd recommend giving it a go at the very least." - Ceamonks890 (11-Jul-2015)
"This raid which offers us the author is really very amusing to play, actions if enchainent he some behind others without pause for long researches, they are occupied from start to finish and nothing is too much complicated to make. Decoration is also achieved, places are disposed well without surplus sometimes embarrassing for game, the building is made well, it is clean and net. A level improved to take care mind. Congratulations to the author." - Daffy (30-Aug-2009)
"This one was a bit better than the first game but nothing much to do here either. There were some nice ideas but still the traps were dead easy. We need guardian keys, a cartouche and the trigger tiles are overused in my opinion. It lasted twenty minutes and I found one secret. I am sure the next one will be even better." - Kristina (15-Apr-2006)
"This level is average as far as gameplay is concerned but all the textures used in the tomb are not so attractive. The objects used in the level are pretty good & some new ones too. Your aim is to find Amulet of horus & escape from the tomb. Even the pathways with lava textured walls make no sense to me. Once you have the amulet run outside to the Jeep to end the level. Another peculiar thing is how did the dynasaurs get involved in this??" - Anurag (08-Feb-2006)
"Well, Daniel is showing improvement with his levels, which is what it's all about I suppose. This is short, easy and linear, but not without appeal and certainly his best work to date. The addition of George's vocal presence certainly does it no harm either and is his influence working in other ways, because there are quite a lot of dinosaurs about, albeit no T-Rex?" - Jay (04-Feb-2006)
"There is a real fast pace to this 20 minute level. I'm not sure though if that is really a good thing with a short level as it's over before you know and it doesn't allow you to fully absorb yourself into the game. In this level you find a lot of trapdoors to open and a fair few levers and objects on tiles that you first have to de-spike or de-flame before you can use them. You also meet some yetis and raptors along the way, most of these can be killed from a safe vantage point, as you look for the Ankh and flee to your awaiting jeep. For some this will be a fun quick raid but it didn't really gel with me. I found one of two secrets." - Sash (07-Jan-2006)
"Final level of the Raiders' trilogy, in the line of the other two; simply geometry, easy tasks, easy puzzles, very very easy "secrets", but this time an off voice is included. I've only find one bug: in the room where the first Guardian Key is, when the trapdoor closes you can't walk over it, because you'll trespass it and can't go back (reload). Is not a very professional level, but I have to recognize the work." - Jose (01-Jan-2006)
"This is much better than the previous one made by Daniel. Although it is short and a fast paced one and Lara has to get her hands on a Cartouche and Guardian Keys. Had to crank up my volume to understand what was spoken and that made the noise that the raptors made all the more ominous. The breakable ledge over the lava you don't have to use, at least I did both ways and even the block that came up so Lara couldn't leave went down again, when going to the ground floor and picking up the item you needed. 14-12-2005" - Gerty (15-Dec-2005)
"A spirited little Finale to this three part mini-adventure.Although the texturing really could do with a bit of polish, the general construction is quite sound and (with the added bonus of some neat voice work and good camera-angles) the level often feels quite filmic. Very rarely will you need to pause for breath here;despite repeated verbal warnings that things are about to get sticky, they very rarely do (the enemies are all easy to kill from a distance,or avoidable altogether). However,I loved the jump off the burning balconey and its chiding accompaniment;while the fast progression imparted an element of speed to the whole proceedings which made the level feel suitable 'climactic'. As a three-part series it's all a little undemanding, but very enjoyable nonetheless." - Orbit Dream (14-Dec-2005)
"A much better level than the previous ones from this author! I guess the betatesting paid off? :) Much better gameplay, atmosphere and lighting. George has done a good job with the audio too! The textures are a bit dull, but the lighting applied makes them better. Keep on building, Daniel, as you get better and better!" - QRS (12-Dec-2005)
"It is truly amazing to see how Daniel makes great strides of progress from level to level. This is another short and easy fun level at 20 minutes or so, but it is solidly built, has some good lighting already, good camera work and a nice flow to it. Good variety with collapsible tiles, spikes, short timed sequences, swimming, trapdoors and maybe a few too many levers of various sorts. Two guardian keys and two cartouche pieces to acquire and the raptors are fun (good flybly there at the first encounter) and the 'voice' spoken by George adds to the atmosphere really well. Nice one - keep building, Daniel, this is getting better and better." - MichaelP (12-Dec-2005)
