I can now see that level as a satire of this level, for whatever that's worth. Neither are funny, but this one is particularly unfunny. | "I give one point for atmosphere, as it really looks like a kind of tomb. I wanted to give 2 points for textures, but the walls of the pool are stretched, so I can't consider texturing as "average". So it's 1 point only. Objects are taken from original TR4, but they are placed beautifully - there are some pretty things you can look at before leaving this imitation of a level. That's why the objects get 1 point as well. SUMMARY: What a pretty tomb Lara is going to die in! But I think it's not enough to entertain such an adventurer like her. Glyph textures are reasonably applied except the pool is covered in stretched textures. Lighting has been added to creat a bit of atmosphere, but that's it. What a sad end for our heroine. | "I didn't get any sleep at all last night, which is the only reason I've played a couple of joke levels tonight. The jokes are never going to get better than they are when I'm this sleepy. To be honest, though, this is just another rip-off of Lara in a Box, which wasn't a funny idea to begin with. The whole point of Lara in a Box was that there was absolutely nothing to do for Lara in her box-like prison. This joke level, on the other hand, adds objects, a pool and a pickup, which completely messes with the tried and true formula. And it just doesn't work. As a level, End of Lara Croft fails. mean un-stretched textures, a little interior decoration, that sort of thing.
There is a water hole and a vraeus at the bottom of it, so that's actually
two rooms, WayHey! It probably took less time to throw this together than it
did for me to download it and write this review. They have their uses
though, giving plenty of players an opportunity to up their review count. At
6.something mb download the dial-up people shouldn't bother. Actually
that applies to all users. If you want to know what it looks like just take a

| "Though I would've given this level one point for the author's effort of creating the 2 rooms, texturing them, and adding a handful of objects - both - the textures and objects coming from the original Guardian of Semerkhet theme - I've rated incomparably better (though still very bad) levels as low, so guessed it would only be fair to those levels if this one got nothing. I'm not too bewildered or angered about the nature of the level as I'm in peace with the download speed and such on my side - but what really irks me is that this joke level has no joke in it at all. That would be the most I'd expect from a level which required more time to review than to play it.
