Reviewer's comments
"A very short and bland level that takes you through a few hallways and...that's it, really. Textures are all over the damn place and quite horribly applied. It almost has a test level feel to it. I really can't say that there's much of anything worth your time in this one. Much like the author's other works, it's unfortunately quite boring and forgettable." - LuxQSD (15-Mar-2022)
"These TR4 textures don't look quite right with the TR1 engine. Seems to have been a trend to use them this way, though. This is an extremely quick level with 3 enemies and a few pickups. There are some blocks to push but one of them served no purpose as it went nowhere. The ending was very abrupt and took me by surprise. Unless you're playing through everything for completion's sake, go ahead and let this tomb lie empty." - Chel (05-Nov-2018)
"Another small and zippy TR1 taster, and again not a whole lot of gameplay to speak of. There's a few lions and gorillas to shoot and a small movable box sequence (I'm hesitant to call it a puzzle), and the textures are rather grainy by today's standards (with quite a few badly applied)." - Ryan (03-Aug-2018)
"Personally, I enjoyed the level which consisted of TR4 and TR1 textures together. Unfortunately, some walls were not textured properly, as the builder had forgotten to texture all of the walls. Also, I could see holes through textures. Not good and not bad. Thanks!" - Mehrbod (01-Aug-2018)
"Nothing much to note about this short 5 minute romp with Lara. Graphics are terrible and it seems to me that this is another one of those early tests that worked but seemed unfinished." - Torry (08-Apr-2018)
"Another old release of a TR1 custom level with tomb raider 4 textures. The level looks nice but ends so fast. And although it is a very short level, it still seems to be unfinished, because there are untextured areas. I got stuck in the game when I slid down the slope into the spikes, because there was no way to get out." - Nuri (24-Feb-2018)
"Another small level not worth to play. There are a lot of missing textures, and another textures have many transparent points. I think if you go first to the room with the lion, there's not a way to go back up (reload) even with the help of the movable block. Also, there are not cameras to see the doors opening when you step onto certain tiles, so you can get easily disoriented (except when you hear the last door opening). The uzis appeared too late, when you only need to look for the finish trigger and there are no more enemies to shoot. Not an enjoyable level." - Jose (04-Nov-2017)
"This is a really short level that took me under five minutes to complete. The fact that you could constantly see through the textures into other rooms really ruined the whole experience, and the gorilla at the start that could phase in and out of the rooms nearly gave me a heart attack. It is pretty easy to figure out what to do and where to go, and you get Uzis near the end but nothing to actually shoot with them. To conclude, this has the typical quality of a debut level from this time that starts and ends quite quickly and unceremoniously." - Ejecta (14-Aug-2017)
"Short level in a little tomb with nice textures to look at but in one part there were a lot missing. Lighting is used to darken some areas and enemies are lions and gorillas." - alan (23-Apr-2017)
"Got a bit confused about the trigger tiles as that took me a bit to understand that they were indeed trigger tiles. Shoot some apes, shoot a lion pick up some weapons and you are done." - Gerty (08-Sep-2016)
"Much like Turbo Pascal's Fenician Temple, this level also boasts high quality, good looking textures. Unlike the aforementioned level, however, this is a pretty short and quick romp. There are no levers so doors are opened by standing on certain tiles, so gameplay doesn't really flow quite as well as it should or could. 5 minutes. 12/15" - Treeble (30-Dec-2015)
"A quite promising prologue to something which doesn't exist. Worth seeing for interesting texture choice and opportunity to hear old good samples - but will you grab the uzis on time?" - DJ Full (08-Sep-2015)
"While it may be initially impressive to see high-quality textures from TR4 used here, that doesn't really mean much in the grand scheme of things unfortunately as there are just as many missing textures to compensate for that opinion. Overall, there simply isn't a whole lot on offer here with very little actual gameplay to do, involving firing some lead into a couple of lions and gorillas while trying to open a few doors through some illogical trigger setups. Not really worth bothering with in the end though." - Ceamonks890 (30-Jun-2014)
"Lightning in this level seem to be strange places, there are corners so dark you can't see a thing. Textures are looking nicely most of times, gameplay is fast and rather uninteresting. Old, nostalgic TR1 level." - Casual Raider (11-Jul-2013)
"A 5-minute level with not much to do or see, the graphics are much more bearable than in Tomb of Tiberius but the gameplay is restricted to some odd trigger setups which wasn't very much fun, and one pit to avoid. The placement of the enemies was good and I liked the changed visuals. All in all not totally bad for a review but in this level nothing's really worth the download. If you only want to play one level of the builder, I'd recommend Khamoon Side Passage." - manarch2 (17-May-2013)
"Just a brief glimpse of TR1 Lara as she finds a few pickups, moves a couple of blocks and shoots two gorillas and lions." - Jay (25-May-2011)
"There's very little to do here (find a way to open a door;shoot a few wild animals),but just about enough to justify spending a few minutes in this very small Tomb. All the graphical problems you associate with ancient TR1 levels are present and correct, but it's all harmless fun and entertaining enough while it lasts." - Orbit Dream (19-Oct-2010)
"It was a very short adventure, but it is a test level. But worth it to seeing it. Although texture problems, but intresting transparent textures and walls." - Obig (14-May-2010)
"A very short level , good enough to be played, with a couple of gorillas and lions , just a bit of pushing , climbing and shimmying, work was done for the texturing, and the author had worked on some lighting , but Lara is not looking 3D for that and some dark corners are not pretty. The progression is kind of straightforward until the circle is complete." - eRIC (01-May-2010)
"A brief beginning with Lara moving blocks to stand on, and hitting trigger tiles to open doors. Apes and lions take away Lara's health, and she gets a large medipack just when needed. Then she climbs up as if to reach the real level, but instead a premature ending. Looks nice." - dmdibl (27-Apr-2010)
"A short raid in a colorful tomb. Randomly triggered a few doors, killed a few animals, then finished the level. And that was the whole level." - rtrger (06-Apr-2010)
"A super quick one with less than 5 minutes spent in a very small tomb indeed. It looks nice enough, but all you have to do is step on a few triggers to open doors and kill two lions and two apes." - MichaelP (29-Mar-2010)
