Reviewer's comments
"As previous reviewers have noted, you can’t kill the crocodile with the puny amount of harpoons provided. That being the case, I thought I might as well turn this into a no-kills challenge. I almost succeeded, but then the invisible block in front of one of the doors did me in. Clearly, I need to hone my invisible-block-dodging skills. Thank you, level, for this insight." - Mulf (03-Oct-2024)
"Not bad for a training level, although I really wish we can have more harpoons to kill the croc." - Charles Kane (07-Oct-2023)
"More of a test level than anything else. This three minute Tomb Raider 3 romp has you picking up a harpoon gun, killing 5 of those small dinos and 5 tigers and then hitting the finish trigger. What was the purpose I ask?" - Torry (24-Nov-2019)
"Another small level from this builder. Gameplay in this one is all about gunning down enemies, but even that doesn't amount to a whole lot of padding as the finish trigger is just around the corner, basically. I did like the outdoors room with the tigers, the floor felt quite organic, shame the surrounding walls and wallpaper textures ruined any potential chances at environment crafting. 5 minutes. 11/19" - Treeble (03-Nov-2019)
"The in-game subtitle pretty much describes everything that this short level offers. Jumping, Dodging in water and Fighting. Indeed you jump across water, dodge a crocodile and shoot some dinosaurs. Not really one to choose for an extended raid." - Ryan (29-Jul-2016)
"You can know this game from reading the passport entry. It was made for pure training so I took the challenge as supposed, but I bet many players just don't bother and shoot these tigers from above. The dinos quickly got buggy but their demise was still fun to hear. The crocodile couldn't die from four harpoons provided and I also wasn't able to finish him with pistols, no matter which air pocket I tried from - is it me or were these guys smarter in TR3 than they are in TR4? But as long as the point of this enemy was to evade it, I take it as achieved. SUMMARY: Jumping, fighting, evading and a bit of sliding not mentioned in the passport string." - DJ Full (01-Feb-2016)
"Another short level that is incredibly easy to play through(lasting only a mere 2-3 minutes), with a variety of enemies to slaughter. Outside of the quick novelty however, there's very little else to this release outside of easily retrieving a pointless harpoon gun and some rather simple jumps at the start(with terribly unconvincing textured environments to traverse through, that barely have any life to them.) So not really worth bothering with, unless you're a new player that just so happens to be searching for something to help ease you comfortably into the control scheme for TR3, before tackling the more difficult releases available on this site." - Ceamonks890 (16-Sep-2014)
"A level that does what it says on the tin, it trains you by making you do jumps and killing things. Get a harpoon, shoot some tigers, jump over some blades and you are finished. Texturing isn't too bad, but it was very wallpapered. Good for beginner raiders." - Cory (17-Apr-2011)
"Jumping, Dodging in Water and Fighting: The subtitle is absolutely spot on - that's exactly what this brief taster of a level involves and nothing more, ie, jumping across some platforms (including the only pickup), avoiding a crocodile and shooting some compys and tigers. It's obviously more of a demo than an actual level, but what there is seems quite crisply made texture-wise." - Jay (04-Apr-2011)
"Seeing as how the author's walkthrough is the only commentary we have on his own level, I couldn't help but feel a tad perplexed after taking a short glance at it. One can't help but wonder why he/she put in a Harpoon gun and then described anyone wanting to get it suicidal, put in a considerable amount of enemies, but then suggests to ignore all but the final 5 tigers? The minds of the builders work in wondrous ways at times. But it's all over too soon to care on a deeper level about the thought patterns that resulted in this 3 minute venture, and though I mentioned the walkthrough here - it won't be required to master this level." - eTux (14-Nov-2010)
"Run,jump and swim through a few large bland rooms while shooting things for five minutes.Nothing more, nothing less." - Orbit Dream (21-Oct-2010)
"5 minutes gameplay, a bit shooting and swimming. Not really worth to give it a try, but textures are well made." - manarch2 (26-Jul-2010)
"Quick and not really very challenging. Not much battle also, as you can essentially kill all the enemies from a safe spot. But it looks ok and is worth a quick raid." - MichaelP (13-Jun-2010)
"Compared to some test levels, I thought this was attractively outfitted. Though it's really only a few minutes of jumping platforms, avoiding a crocodile, shooting compies, and shooting tigers from a safe high vantage point. Two plinth blades at the end failed to trigger. The water looks inviting (though, of course, it did have piranhas in it)." - dmdibl (08-Jun-2010)
