Reviewer's comments
"What I presume to be some sort of test level of animations and such, rather interesing in that aspect, everything else is neglected." - Neltharion (13-Jun-2023)
"Crazy indeed. The level is almost like a museum of different Tomb Raider characters (including a TR1 version of Lara herself) in various rooms, and Lara will watch them kick into a silly animation when she touches them or throws a switch. When she's done with the exhibitions, she gets assaulted by the final boss from TR3, followed by running down long corridors and doing some menial jumps in a stretched out room before finishing the level. While the craziness could have been more immersive, this might still be a fun little palette cleanser for raiders between more intense adventures. 6 minutes." - JesseG (30-Jun-2021)
"This is certainly a crazy level but I admit to having a laugh at these odd animations of the Tomb Raider 1 combatants with a cameo from Willard the Spider from Tomb Raider 3. Other than that as a level goes it is quite poor." - Torry (10-Oct-2019)
"‘Strictly one for completists’ is the phrase I’m looking for I guess, or perhaps ‘another notch on my belt’. This novelty piece is so insubstantial that I don’t have anything to add to the previous reviewers’ assessments, except that I was surprised Spiderwillard worked so well (eternally repeating death animation notwithstanding), and that such mild (if entirely pointless) amusements as can be enjoyed here probably work best for those who have no or little levelbuilding experience, or who haven’t played a lot of low-scoring levels, as the rest of us will have seen it all before as a matter of course." - Mulf (10-Jan-2018)
"Nothing too fascinating here, aside from seeing TR1 characters either performing Lara's animations or speeding off into the wall, as if they were mere apparitions. And aside from shooting a TR3 Willard spider with an endlessly repeated death animation(alongside a mind-numbing platforming sequence at the end), you'll be doing nothing but running around repetitively-textured blocky rooms and pulling switches as far as general gameplay standards go. Wouldn't recommend playing, even out of curiosity." - Ceamonks890 (08-Jan-2017)
"Well, if this isn't bizarre, then I don't know what is! A few familiar faces make an appearance and perform odd actions when levers are pushed (Natla in particular looks like she desperately needs the toilet). As far as gameplay is concerned, it's virtually nonexistent, but I'll admit it had me chuckling away a bit." - Ryan (18-Nov-2016)
"What can I say?, this is as uninspiring as the other reviews suggest. As a joke level it's fine, but what disappoints is that I know the author (at-least from a gameplay standpoint) is capable of so much more. Ultimately it's a one off oddity, but it really only need be the territory of completists. Stiggy." - TheStig (19-May-2014)
"A very odd level with many objects some of which were useless. I enjoyed the funny animations when you have to pull the levers. There is no secrets and the spider is rather buggy. The platform phases at the end are boring." - Quentin (29-Mar-2014)
"A crazy level, indeed! :) It was fun to watch all enemies coming to life in this level... I liked it but of course it is short and textures are not so good, hope the builder keeps on building!" - MizzCroft (18-Jan-2014)
"Crazy..., yes, funny... that too. Not much more to do as using levers and see strange figures come to life. The only real enemy here is that huge spider and although I did stop him in its tracks, he tried to get back on his feet although he was now harmless." - Gerty (11-Oct-2012)
"5 minutes of pure fun among wallpaper texturing inside a gallery of death. How the heck could I have missed it before? Obligatory." - DJ Full (08-Oct-2012)
"A 5 minute showcase of various animations by various known TR characters each triggered by a lever that gets thrown. Not more, not less - this is just a quirky little test offering fur the curious players out there." - MichaelP (27-Sep-2012)
"This is a level one should rather forget, as it contains nothing of interest. Basically you run around and use a couple of floor levers that have two different triggers; one is for "killing" several TR characters, the other for opening a door to eventually find a large room with pillars and soon enough the finish trigger. The texturing is bad, there were too many paper thin walls and bugs, e.g. the only enemy in this level never actually dies and Lara has a hard time to get out of the room she is nearly jailed in, and completely messed animations. Still fail to see a sense in this level. 4 minutes, not recommended." - manarch2 (26-Sep-2012)
"A joke level where gameplay is restricted to the activation of floor levers , the killing of the Mutant Spider ( I only picked up the grenade gun to get rid of that monster ) and a room with simple long jumps from pillar to pillar. For the joke label, you can watch several TR characters , like Pierre , or Natla , or the TR1 Lara , etc.. die , or vanish after performing some"dancing". Lara also meets another TR1 Lara running in the opposite way of her in a corridor. The author may have worked with the animations of these animating slots. The best part was to blow out the Mutant spider." - eRIC (26-Sep-2012)
"Things just keep getting curiouser and curiouser! Lara's friends and enemies make humourous cameo appearances ;you pick up a wealth of things you don't need;shoot a huge spider;and perform a less than entertaining series of pillar jumps. Nevertheless,I had a good chuckle at the custom animations for the various characters;and it certainly works within the Joke category.Quite fun for the 5 minutes it lasts." - Orbit Dream (26-Sep-2012)
"Well, it's classified as a joke level. It's rather short - about 5 minutes of gameplay. It's journey from room to room, finally running through long long corridors with simply structured textures, paperthin walls and huge empty rooms It must have been a crazy day for the builder when he created this one." - Christian (25-Sep-2012)
