Reviewer's comments
"Who you gonna call? 2 minutes. 12/23" - Treeble (30-Dec-2023)
"I personally don't think that running around in a circle for a couple of minutes constitutes any points for gameplay, but opinions can differ. You can have a little play with the mummy and listen to the Ghostbusters theme tune, but otherwise you can just exit." - Ryan (31-Dec-2017)
"XDDDDDD a little scare is not bad in Halloween :v" - alan (01-Nov-2017)
"Probably one for younger players. Spend about a minute circling the snow in random directions to discover a Halloween pop-up. It failed to scare me because I had already read the reviews, wondering why it was so poorly rated :P" - High Priestess (18-May-2017)
"Essentially a rather pointless jump scare simulator where you find yourself(as Young Lara), running around in a lifeless contained dark snowy room, awaiting the inevitable ear rape from the unnecessarily loud solo track included with the download, before immediately adding it to the recycle bin and checking the level off your near-endless reviewer backlog. So overall, only really worth a quick look at for potential reviewers at best. Everyone else on the other hand should steer clear, unless they're in the mood for a quick and relatively cheap scare around the Halloween season. But even then, there are far scarier games out there(even under the TRLE), that feel ultimately more substantial and terrifying to play, compared to the likes of this quickly-pieced together distraction." - Ceamonks890 (29-Nov-2014)
"haha great idea, this really scared me. no gameplay but the atmosphere was good and the snow textured looked nicely applied. check it out" - misho98 (01-Dec-2013)
"I like the idea. Atmosphere is well done, if you try to get yourself into the spirit and forget, the simplistic leveldesign. It's a joke. But a well done joke." - The Boo (17-Nov-2013)
"Another notch on my belt." - Gerty (16-Nov-2013)
"A waste of time.hey mathew9r why instead don't finish your cutscene museum project?." - janachorider (12-Nov-2013)
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooo o....... Ehm, ehm... It's very nice the author updated the final release with 1.2.2.7, so I could see the picture this time. Funny thing that even though I knew what's supposed to happen, I got properly scared anyway. This is how a true horror should work - waiting produces tension, released when a monster finally appears. Lighting? Texturing? Well both don't disturb playing - hence 2 points, 1 per each element. Objects - hmmmm... Is a picture an "object" or a "texture"? Damn rating system... Even with a game as simple as this one, I still have problems :P OK, OK, let's call any "moving texture" an "object" and give 1 here. No extra points for SlenderMan though, because it serves exactly the same purpose as the picture does, and we cannot do anything with him (thanks to Scottie for mentioning he exists in this game at all). Gameplay... well I got scared rather efficiently, hence 3 as for "good". Wait, shouldn't it go for "atmosphere" instead? No idea, so I'll separate the overall freakout score - 2 will go to gameplay, 1 to atmosphere and both criterions will get their treat. Also in here we need to mention, for sure, the awesome sound lasting for the whole second part of the level, don't we? Cameras... on one hand, they don't exist at all, on the other the game isn't confusing due to their possible incorrect amount, so I have to give one point for them anyway. SUMMARY... A must play, if not because of the concept, execution or climate, then because of its quick end. And now You know why I'm such a slow reviewer..." - DJ Full (03-Nov-2013)
"OK, it's a little Halloween joke level that may give you a couple of grey hairs if you're easily spooked. Otherwise, nothing much to report apart from the snow looked rather pretty and it was fun hearing the Ghostbusters theme again." - Jay (02-Nov-2013)
"Could've made this joke WAY better. Really? Just a bumpy floor with snow falling. It IS a bit scary and I think this idea is nice, but you could've made the level A LOT better! It doesn't even have walls, so you can bump into the "end of the level". One also can tell you "used" TRLE. All of those really professional levels seem to me like they're not made with TRLE (even though they are). You get my point..." - young Lara Croft (01-Nov-2013)
"It's short, intense and an unpretentiously nice idea. Try it out if you dare." - manarch2 (01-Nov-2013)
"I've been going through scary movie after movie to enjoy this year's Halloween. This, out of all of them, gave me the most fright. Though, I had to give low points in Gameplay and enemies, the atmosphere is off the charts oozing with terror and the lighting only helps it. Personally, I knew exactly what was coming when I saw on the TRLE website of still pics of the exact same position, "Oh, there's probably going to be some sort of cheesy jump scare...I have to admit it was, but; the music afterwards was amazing and made me giggle. I hadn't reached any finish trigger of some sort so I decided not to stick around because I might just be waiting for minutes upon minutes which wouldn't be fun considering the circumstance I just took part of. Overall, a little nice level dedicated to Halloween and is really not for the faint of heart. Total Time - 6 mins of nothing much Secrets - 0/0? Difficulty - Easy Recommended - Yes (don't get a heart attack) Was...that...a ghost....or Slender Man?" - Larabiker301 (01-Nov-2013)
"This level is just a bit of fun for halloween. I enjoyed it and after 3 playthroughs, I was still scared when that face popped up. Recommended if you have 5 mins for a scare." - Bradley (01-Nov-2013)
"At the time of writing this review this has been downloaded 141 times, so I hope that many of the people who downloaded enjoy the little scare they may get from this, but I have to admit it is a bit lost on me. Not the first time that this idea was used and I really expected it to come, so was not actually surprised at all when it eventually happened. Maybe ok to waste a few minutes for a little seasonal joke, but otherwise, just stay away from it..." - MichaelP (01-Nov-2013)
"It's a decent enough joke.Enjoy the classic 80's hit which follows it,and then go and do something more interesting." - Orbit Dream (01-Nov-2013)
