Reviewer's comments |
"I thought I will never see the tower puzzle again but here it came, in a new incarnation. Actually this level isn't so tough if you skip the secrets, and of course I went for them only to get more frustrated like I usually do. But it still has controversy of one-shot riddles which softlock if done wrong - and I'm quite sure the correct setup could prevent that." - DJ Full (20-Mar-2023) |

"There's a big effort with the objects and texturization, also there are fresh ideas for the puzzles (but another old ones) and the tasks are usually entertaining, except the jumps in the garden grabbing the invisible edges on the trees; I've got a real problem there because the fixed camera making very difficult the way to go. I think there are too many spiral staircases and tasks with moveables too, but all in all it could be an entertaining level for many players. Of course, I couldn't get all the secrets, but I enjoyed it anyway." - Jose (17-Sep-2021) |

"This is an enchanting level, devoid of enemies and fraught with color, perfect for the
Easter season. It's something of a brain teaser, with a number of thought-provoking puzzles
in different areas as you emanate from a hub room pushing buttons to activate a series of
dragon levers that enable you to finish the level. I used Dutchy's walkthrough throughout,
as I'm perfectly content to leave the thinking to others. Even at that, in my game the floor
didn't lower in the mirror room, preventing me from obtaining a Dragon's Eye part and thus
allowing me to bypass the last page of the walkthrough. However, by that time I'd had enough
and was ready for it all to end. A peaceful raid lacking in excitement but exuding in charm.
Recommended." - Phil (16-Apr-2021) |

"Well, this is not a linear level. You can choose many paths, and although there is one logical order, that is not easy to figure out. Seven wall triggers need to be found, they are well hidden. One of them even requires tree climbing. The puzzles are interesting yet not too hard. There are scrolls scattered around containing information. This is a great adventure without enemies, a real festive level. I highly recommend it. "What a magical experience. Starting with the Lara stand-in, who has the coolest ‘weapon’
animation and mode of transport to the beautiful colourful interiors of the palace and the
entirely appropriate choice of music, everything about this level just enchanted me. The
gameplay is very much puzzle based, which especially appealed to me, although if puzzles
aren’t really your thing I think you would still enjoy the marvellous atmosphere. I only
found two of the secrets and considering how thoroughly I explored I’m guessing they were
pretty well hidden, although admittedly my track record with secrets isn’t the best!
Anyway, this was definitely one of those levels I very much regretting finishing; I just
wanted it to go on and on." - Jay (09-Apr-2021) |

"After some levels with a slightly different style this comes closer to the "classic Greywolf" levels and I enjoyed this one much more. Yes, the pushable puzzles can be enerving (the one for the secret could've easily been replaced by a jumping pad puzzle), yes, finding your way into the seven areas with fairly similar hallways can get annoying, but still the puzzles are refreshing and there are a lot of enjoyable tasks - timed runs, target shooting, a very unorthodox tree climbing sequence, puzzles where you first have to think... only the tower puzzle has become old a bit by now. Usage of sounds and cameras is very good. The only slight downside in this otherwise well put together level is the lighting which is mainly not just colourful but more pretty flat and a sun in each room is deeply missing. The complex secret quest is completing this very nice level, with fairly tough secrets, although the final reward is a bit of a downside. Anyway, this 50 minute long level shows once more the quirkiness and creativity of the builder, who by the way has released the 10th Easter level in a row - thanks for that!" - manarch2 (08-Apr-2021) |

"Now here's a pretty original piece of work
in itself, and one that's guaranteed to
kick your brain into gear. Lara (well,
really her twin sister who looks a lot
like Daenerys from Game of Thrones),
looking very pretty with her bright blonde
hair, sets off on a mystical adventure
full of twists and turns. The surroundings
are a pleasure to explore in and I loved
the use of colourful lighting in some of
the puzzle rooms. Being an Easter level,
enemies are pretty much nonexistent, but
the puzzles will sufficiently occupy you.
A couple of them are a little too obscure
for their own good (particularly the tree-
hopping sequence where it was rather
unclear where the correct route was, and
the tower sequence with the crowbar
levers), but the majority of them are fun
to solve and I absolutely loved the secret
quest too. Definite raiding entertainment
in a beautiful setting - what more could
you ask for?" - Ryan (07-Apr-2021) |

"A peaceful Easter level. I enjoyed the music and the variety of puzzles, as well as the
lighting in a few places. Having said that, some of the features were too clever for
their own sake. To name just a few, the tower on top of which Lara's supposed to use the
sword gave me an actual headache (and I had to watch Doggett's video and restart,
otherwise I might never get out of there), the rainbow room felt a little strange
because of the colour sequence (why start from the red switch at the end of the room
instead of the red switch right by the entrance, which ends up being the last?), and I
never got to solve the last pushable puzzle because the paper that spoke of the ferns
simply slipped through my game, meaning I never found it. All in all though, it's a
really nice and artistic piece of work for which I'm thankful. By the way, I don't think
I found any cleverly hidden secret. Somewhat devious, still a pleasure." - Jorge22 (05-Apr-2021) |

"I enjoyed very much this beautiful level, with interesting, creative, original gameplay and puzzles and mercifully no enemies. The only things, or objects, that I didn't like at all were the spiral stairs, and the only task that I didn't enjoy was the tree climbing - because those trees don't look like climbable, and without Forum help (thank you again, Nad) I never would have tried to climb them. But these minor drawbacks were more than compensated by the beauty of the other objects and tasks, and my favourite room was the Rainbow one. A lovely and recommended level for all Raiders, and a perfectly adequate game for Easter time." - Josey (03-Apr-2021) |

"Lara, or rather a fantasy counterpart of hers named Thalien, is exploring the Palace of the Rainbow in this vivid level. One might guess that the color spectrum will be on full display here, and that assumption would be correct. I love colorful lighting so this was quite a visually appealing level to me. The 7 colors of the rainbow also come with 7 areas (unless I miscounted) and corresponding buttons to push before reaching the prized Sun Jewel. I enjoyed these for the most part, especially the pushblock picture puzzle and the jumpswitch puzzle (and it is a rare occurrence that I compliment jumpswitches!), but I have critiques for two of the areas. The first is a tower that is climbable on three sides, and naturally a player would think that they are reaching the same roof from each side, but it turns out the walls are connected to three separate roofs + switches that happen to look the same. Maybe this was supposed to be a puzzle in itself, maybe the crowbar switches had different orientations or some other visual difference that I didn't notice, but either way that idea is too obscure for my tastes. The second area I took issue with was the garden; I could get past the fact that the layers of leaves on the trees could be grabbed, but Thalien was behaving inconsistently once she reached the highest part of the area – most of the time when attempting a backwards ledge jump she would just bump off of the tree and fall. I think it had something to do with which side she jumped up to the ledge from below, but either way this was a sequence that could have been made to be less problematic. I have two more comments in general. One is that it would have been nice to have some kind of visual cue for the 7 buttons to let the player know how they were progressing (maybe have each one ignite a flame until the player gets all 7 lit) and the other is that there was just a bit too much backtracking required for some of the areas. Despite my negative comments I enjoyed my time here overall, and I think those that are inclined toward puzzle solving will like it as well. 1 hour 3 minutes." - JesseG (02-Apr-2021) |

"Wonderful and peaceful aet level without enemies and in castle theme. The biggest point
of this level was gameplay. Omg i loved it so much.
So many clever and original puzzles. Some of them were really hard, that I needed to
spend some time on figuring them out.
I very liked main area of this level with many levers. Secrets were probably well hidden
because I only found one of them (tbh
I don't know even where XD). Castle and a bit surreal atmosphere was really good.
Lighting and texturing were good but could be a bit better.
I found some wallpapered walls and some flat lighting areas, but overally it's still
pretty good. I liked much this level and
I definetly recommend it for peaceful raids." - BlackWolfTR (01-Apr-2021) |
