Reviewer's comments
"After now playing the full version, I still wonder why the demo had to be released two months earlier, but anyway - what you get here is a copy of the demo for the first 15 minutes or so and then the expansion into a 30-40 minute adventure. The additions include a few good things though: A battle with two giant scoprions in a fairly small room and a battle with two demigods with the clever twist that Lara cannot duck as you would usually do to kill them even more easily without taking any damage at all, a lengthy, but still fun, push- and raising block puzzle room and a - thankfully quick - earthquake, dodge boulders, esapce run at the very end. Overall, a rather easy and relaxed and fun raid - as we have come to expect from this builder." - MichaelP (09-Feb-2024)
"Nicely extended versus the earlier demo, this was refreshingly classic. Nothing extraordinary, but it does what it does very capably indeed. Gameplay is relatively fast- moving and linear, but nicely spiced up with a rather ingenious block puzzle, enjoyable enemy attacks and the occasional trap sequence to keep you on your toes. The author kindly teleports you to necessary locations once you've collected needed artefacts, reducing the need for any backtracking and disabling the crouch function was a neat if unexpected touch. Enjoyable raiding." - Ryan (23-May-2023)
"It's been just a couple of months and while I remember most of the gameplay from the demo (very few changes in those areas), I can't recall for instance whether they were indoors or outdoors. Visually I found this level quite nostalgic, the use of TR1 textures is done very well and it holds up well. No LoadCam but it doesn't crash, so just a minor observation. The temple itself is the grandest addition to the demo, and while there's nothing particularly groundbreaking it does have a few unexpected twists (a surprise encounter room, and warping you right back where you need to go next without forcing you to backtrack). It's still good old fashioned fun though, you just can't go wrong with that. 30 minutes, 1 secret. 05/23" - Treeble (21-May-2023)
"Visually, the level isn't stunning, but it does what it's supposed to with some neat touches, namely that inclined hub room. I must say I rather liked it, and was very pleased not to have to resort to the walkthrough not even once. It's action packed but relatively easily done. The teleportation is put to very good use on several occasions, namely when Lara picks up a jewel, and sees herself suddenly transported to a red room with a couple of large scorpions (coincidentally, she found the shotgun a little while before that), but not only. Disabling crouching at a time when Lara meets a couple of demigods was also an interesting touch. And I liked the use of the boulders, namely when several of them land right behind Lara as she runs down a corridor. Even the block puzzle was interesting, although block puzzles always seem to take a while. All in all, a great, fun raid." - Jorge22 (20-May-2023)
"Just like any other Opaque's level, you will have a good time while playing and you will forget about it 15 minutes later. There are some moments that stand out, like the big area with surprising flooding sequence, but in general there is nothing truly memorable. With no spectacular moments and no frustrating ones, there's really not much to say, you go from one place to another and do casual TR things for some 45-60 minutes. Whatever you remember about Opaque's previous levels, that's exactly what you get here, so use that as your reference when deciding if you want to play it or not. For me, it was decent 60 minutes." - Tolle87 (06-May-2023)
"Short level with relatively easy gameplay, but still interesting enough that it's not too boring even for medium-experienced players. Gameplay is decently varied. It's very easy at the beginning, and gets slightly harder later. There are two enemy fights, which are probably harder for beginners. (The transportation was a nice touch.) Visually, most areas could be considered a bit standard and boring, but I think it looks OK and does the job. In conclusion, this isn't the greatest level ever, but a quite decent one and a nice way to spend some time.

Compared to the demo, the level got extended. It's about two to four times longer. Some interesting puzzles got added. If you played the demo and didn't hate it, I think it's worth playing the full level." - tuxraider (04-May-2023)
"About twice the length of the earlier demo, majorly because of the block puzzle, but still good for a quick snack. I think there could be more secrets, why to limit them to one only. Lava could look hotter as well." - DJ Full (03-May-2023)
"After enjoying the demo i had high hopes for this full version and i was not disappointed, it keeps what's in the demo and expands on it considerably with a variety of fun tasks and surprises. I love the desert cave setting and textures here i must say, its not often i play in this sort of environment so it made a refreshing change. Gameplay is mostly simple and consists of exploring, swimming, enemy attacks, multiple boulder traps, fun platforming and climbing around using ropes, poles etc and of course the highlight and main "puzzle" of the level: the push-able and rising block task room! very enjoyable! I also have to mention here the surprising teleportation's: one where you suddenly emerge in a small room full of giant scorpions haha and the other one which takes you back to a place you would of otherwise need to backtrack to, it certainly spiced things up a bit and with the multiple boulder traps as well there is certainly some shocks and thrills to be had its only a shame the level still remains on the short side but its definitely still worth the download." - John (02-May-2023)
