Reviewer's comments |
"This is a nice raid for TR3Gold fans who are in a Scotland mood. Things are done much bigger so prepare for a long raid. Thankful, the builder provided hints or else this would have been quite difficult to find your way around. But there is a lot of fun things to do in this level. Just some things here and there hopefully can be resolved before the full release." - StudBuddha (19-Feb-2025) |

"Really a very good adventure worth to play with a TR3 taste but with new features from the TEN levels. The architecture is fantastic, the enemies are well placed and there are enough pickups so you don't need to use the pistols or be worried by the health; the cameras will help you a lot and the environments are very convincent and well textured. The "problem" here is the gameplay; there are excessive secrets in my opinion and many times, when you think you are taking progress you realize that you did a lot of tasks only to get a secret. Even so, the game is entertaining enough and you'll never find hard tasks or too hidden things for the normal gameplay. Recommended." - Jose (17-Feb-2025) |

"This may be a re-imagining of an old
favourite, but it turned out to be a totally
different beast altogether. It's definitely
one of the most engrossing raids I've played
in recent memory, ranking right up there
with Resurrection II and Folklorist Diary.
The first level is a mere taster for the
behemoth second level, and Lara gets to
utilise her extended moveset to make her way
around the environment (loved being able to
climb diagonal ledges and enter very low
crawlspaces) and the way the various areas
interconnect is really quite brilliant. The
timed sequences certainly proved quite a
challenge, but never became frustrating.
There's also some creative traps and neat
puzzling action going on. The surroundings
are most impressive and clearly crafted with
great attention to detail, and if you locate
enough secrets, you even get to travel back
to Egypt for a juicy bonus section. It's all
amazing stuff, the TEN engine is used to
great advantage and it comes with my highest
recommendations." - Ryan (14-Feb-2025) |

"Excellent reimagining of the Lost Artifact. Nice improvements with tweaks here & there over
the previous demo (e.g. the boat in Highland Fling doesn't drift anymore). I like the
ability to full utilise the diagonal ledges - it adds another dimension to the platforming.
Talking of that Scottish level - such a beautifully crafted one and now with more secrets.
The gym level is a straightforward intro to the new moves with plenty of helpful dialogue.
Williard's Lair has some nice gameplay and secrets. The final bonus level is a spike-ridden,
but relatively easy linear progression level collecting 4 khelpers (beetles) and 1 simple
secret. Overall I really liked Act 1 and hope Act 2 can live up to it. (Total secrets found
26/26)." - Adrian (28-Oct-2024) |

"Beautiful and rewarding. It took me 8+ hours to crack with all secrets, and the bonus is very solid. About 10% of time I wasted on TEN loading screens and other engine issues so I strongly suggest that you wait for an update." - DJ Full (28-Oct-2024) |
