- There are a few fun puzzles to solve, usually finding the right way to take advantage of sets of switches.
- Even though the environment is on the simpler side, it takes its time to use objects and cutscenes to drive the narrative in a fun way.
- This house sports a good number of traps to dodge (including those pesky saw blades around the poles)
- There are also a few thematic enemies, thankfully some crossbow explosive ammo is provided to deal with the otherwise invincible ones.
Time: 49 minutes | Difficulty: Medium | Rating: 7.75/10 - Good" - JesseG (24-Jan-2025) |

"I had flashbacks of Area 51 when I first loaded up this level lol but as we make our way into the next area it’s clear to see
that we have entered a very spooky and dark mansion indeed! From the eerie background sound to the unsettling cries
of the undead along with the dark and colourless visuals it was clear the atmosphere in the level was going to creepy
and full of dread and so fits the setting perfectly. Gameplay is surprisingly heavy on platforming and climbing with some
pushable object tasks and a few different blade traps to try and keep you from progressing, they are not the only things
trying to prevent you as we lots of enemies such as wraith ghosts, female zombies, rats, bats, flying bugs, and even
owls. The highlights for me was the moving floors, navigating around the library room, the cool mirror room and of
course the showdown with Dracula himself which was certainly not what I was expecting but fun none the less." - John (11-Dec-2024) |

"I found this to be a solid and thoroughly
engaging hour-long level. Lara's sporting a
different "look", so I can only assume that
this is a more recent offering from
Alphonse. Everything looks suitably
grandiose (as befitting Dracula's House),
the atmosphere is great and there's some
neat objects to admire (particularly liked
the propeller blade traps and the coat racks
in the mirror room). Gameplay isn't too much
on the difficult side. There are a couple of
challenging sequences, but they're easily
doable with a bit of patience. There's an
enjoyable variety of tasks too, including
the aforementioned mirror room, a nice
little climbing exercise in a small library
and the exciting finale with the man
himself. The only small downsides were a
couple of annoying forced damage sections
due to the extremely irritating rotating
blades on poles. Maybe a timed sequence
wouldn't have gone amiss either. Small
quibbles, though. An enjoyable raid
throughout." - Ryan (06-Dec-2024) |

"Tartancroft's video walk for this recent release was posted more than a year ago, so the
level is at least that old and probably older. It provides a highly entertaining raid in the
old school with a number of surprising twists and turns. Mummies are retextured as lady
vampires and you're treated to a closing encounter with a Seth-like Dracula. Medipacks are
in short supply, so you need to be careful as you navigate your way past the deadly traps
while dealing with the few enemies that cross your path. We've been blessed with quite a few
Alphonse levels during the past several months, and this one ranks up there with the best of
them. High recommendations." - Phil (05-Dec-2024) |

"Good: a lot of new things. Bad: a lot of forced damage. If you can take the latter, then try to be careful through the level but definitely play it. There is also a sequel somewhere but so you might wanna look for it. Recommended." - DJ Full (25-Nov-2024) |
