Reviewer's comments |
"History hates levers so there are few on Isola dei Boiii, where you go if you want relax. It's quite slow but the small format and detail cuteness turn the pace into advantage as opposed to usual overwhelming of town levels. The plot doesn't answer all questions, e.g. the nun seems to miss lore and we get a note about a battle which doesn't happen, just a room with corpses, so either it's about that or Mario is a bullet Sponge, with all the ammo given for little combat - but on the other hand, we don't need much fighting in a holiday level. We also don't get all access we feel like we should, while the access to the double door room is totally optional with a high risk of never being found. So it's a good level already but I'd say it needs a remake or a sequel." - DJ Full (22-May-2025) |

"this was a beautifully-starting level which got darker when I reached the caves. I'll get
the negatives out of the way first. Unless I missed them, I only saw one pack of flares
in a spear-trapped area but didn't bother to pick them up, thinking like a lot of levels,
I probably had a myriad in my backpack. My mistake for not checking. I could have
returned for them but soldiered on regardless. I did encounter a few glitches progressing
on certain ledges but just jiggled the opposite way and back again to free Lara up a
little so she continued around corners.
The lovely coastal area was quite authentic looking. I didn't understand a word of the
dialogue but that didn't hinder my progress one iota. The timed run to jump across flame-
lined ledges was very generous and I didn't slip up once.
I would've liked to have had more things to do in the village area, however. Maybe this
was exacerbated by the lack of flares in other areas which, with light bouncing off my
monitor, became largely invisible at times.
Over all I really enjoyed this level and played it in short bursts over a couple of
evenings." - High Priestess (21-May-2025) |

"Well this was a treat indeed! Great bright setting in a coastal village before moving onto to the tombs and caves
beneath. Unfortunately there isn’t a huge amount to do in the village area despite how appealing it looked but we do get
to find a cute bike to ride around, find a secret and an item to progress and explore the nearby pool and cove while
talking to a couple of characters as well. (I sadly wasn’t able to understand the conversation though) The underground
areas consisted of tricky climbing and platforming (especially in the spike filled pit) the searching and using of switches
and items, a fun timed run over fire platforms, target bell shooting and swimming. Other traps included spinning blades,
swinging axes with bats and dogs to add to the threats of life as well. Overall I loved the variety of areas to explore and
the fun challenges that awaited lara and what with a good story and visually well presented areas what more could you
ask for!" - John (09-May-2025) |

"With the recent dearth of TR4 levels, I found this submission built in the old style to be a
breath of fresh air. While exploring a quaint coastal village, an outlying mission and a
research area, you're provided a wealth of weaponry that you don't really need. Little
attention is paid to any Easter theme, but that didn't spoil my enjoyment of this pleasant
seasonal offering. The highlights for me were the spiked area that required precise
navigation and the timed sequences past burning crossbeams. Nothing spectacular, but overall
a quite entertaining raid." - Phil (06-May-2025) |

"Bugs/Functional Issues
- A harpoon is present, but doesn't actually work underwater, so it is effectively a reskined crossbow.
What I Liked
- Lara will need to watch her footing around a few traps, including spikes and timed flames.
- Visually, the level features a quaint little town area, contrasted by a dark underbelly of bloody caves and ruins, and it ties nicely to the story.
Time: 56 Minutes | Difficulty: Medium | Rating: 7.75/10 - Good" - JesseG (06-May-2025) |

"A really fun little adventure that should take you less than an hour to get through. It
starts with a bit of exploration and ventures on into a series of easy acrobatics and
platforming sequences in a very pretty environment. There are a few fun little cutscenes to
create a storyline, and you will recognize the nod to a few classic rooms, like the Tomb of
Seth rotating blade room or the (here spiced up) TR1 stepped up crosswalk room. The 4
secrets take a bit of extra work. All in all, well-rounded and fun to play and with a cheesy
ending, too ;)" - MichaelP (05-May-2025) |

"Here's an enchanting raid that shouldn't tax
you too much. Sponge has again crafted an
utterly beautiful and atmospheric location
to explore, even the underground caverns
look incredibly realistic. Gameplay
(naturally) isn't too complicated, but still
entertaining with a few mildly challenging
traps and jump sequences, plus one timed
exercise that I thought was really well
executed. I liked the search for the secrets
too, although the enemies are few so extra
weaponry isn't an absolute necessity.
Definitely worth playing. I loved it." - Ryan (05-May-2025) |

"A very enjoyable little raid in an environment that bears well the vacation feeling, and
although a bit crude, it's still inviting and different. The gameplay is fluent, engaging
and on the easy side. Very much recommended for a chill raid." - billie2001 (26-Apr-2025) |
