Reviewer's comments |
"A typical level by this builder, but I think it got more challenging.
- It has the usual contrast between very creative gameplay with custom objects and interactions, and rectangular rooms and areas with boring texturing.
- Gameplay is sometimes cryptic, but that and the atmosphere is the main appeal of the builder's levels. I still preferred to consult the walk-through very soon when I had no idea what to do next.
- The enemies were very tough this time. You get no weapons at all. You can only run away from them. The dogs in that area with the healing incense were particularly bad. You could get stuck with no chance of recovery if you can't get up to the crawl space quickly enough.
- As usual, succeeds with the atmosphere and interesting special things (like that elephant).
- In summary, a fun level, maybe a bit short, and sometimes the enemies biting down on you gets too annoying.
- My rating in points is neutral. I just took the average rating when I wrote this review.

"Another typically quirky level from this
dependable builder. This offering is a bit
briefer than his previous ones, and the
environments this time if I'm honest are a
bit dull, dark and repetitive looking, but
the somewhat unique atmosphere and charm is
still present. Lara (who's opted for a young
blonde look this time) seems to be afflicted
with some sort of fever (something which is
coincidentally ailing me as I write this) is
exploring some kind of spooky castle,
evading mercenaries along the way only to be
picked up by a stranger in a black suit and
the level ends on a cliffhanger. The
gameplay isn't too difficult, with some keys
to find and a mildly challenging knife trap
sequence, but there are some arcane actions
required that may have you scratching your
head (taking the crowbar from a statue for
instance, or distracting the school of
fish). An offbeat raid that's worth a look." - Ryan (20-Sep-2025) |

"To be honest i have lost how the story progresses . but who cares , another marcos level , with inventive ideas and good atmopsphere . i always like to anticipate how marcos will surpises us with his funny . clever and spooky ideas . And with this level i concluded what it disturbs me more in tomb raiding , wandering around without pistols and having hound-dogs chase you . good level" - Petaludas (14-Sep-2025) |

"This short adventure has an unarmed Lara retrieving a crown in a rather desolate town, dodging a few traps and enemies trying to chomp her away from her prize.
Pros
- Good use of atmospheric effects and cutscenes to create a sense of a story being told.
Cons
- Environments are a bit boxy
- Lara's reward for outmaneuvering the sharks is a scripted instant death. Probably to prevent a shortcut, but it does lead to wasted effort by the player.
- A pool infested with deadly fish - not exactly easy to explore - has a required key on the floor that is hard to see.
Time: 38 minutes | Difficulty: Medium | Rating: 7/10 - Good" - JesseG (11-Sep-2025) |

"Another incredible level of marcos and never disappoints, its gameplay is remarkable and
full of unusual and clever ideas, this one was no different, some moments are challenging
and the soldiers are deadly, be extremely careful with them! Although the level design could
be better, as several rooms are empty and flat most of the time, a little more geometry and
decoration wouldn't hurt. Despite this, it is a very good level and recommended for
experienced players." - PedroCroft_ (04-Sep-2025) |

"As always unique spook from Marcos, very cleverly constructed and played. There's one forking path with long branches which might halt you, and I'd expose one or two keys more - in general I often wish those levels were less visually uniform and regular and no, playing in the dark doesn't solve it. But then here are surprises you will get nowhere else, so I'd recommend this game to everybody. Be smart, you don't need much healing as it may seem." - DJ Full (01-Sep-2025) |
