| Reviewer's comments |
"The game's puzzles mainly involve opening doors, but they are well-designed and not too
difficult. Particularly clever are the 5 pull-down switches controlling the doors of 3
rooms, along with the hidden spots.
The gameplay is excellently crafted—occasional dinosaur appearances and the slightly dim
environment keep players on their toes, though the enemies are relatively easy to deal with.
The sound design is also flawless, fully immersing players in the game.
Despite being a demo, it feels completely polished like a full release. The game isn't very
long, and it leaves players eagerly anticipating what comes next." - cheng (06-Dec-2025) |

"This is a tantalising demo indeed. This builder has done an amazing job showing what is
possible with the TR1 engine. The environments are of a high standard, the textures are
sharp (with a few charming customised ones) and the atmosphere is palpable and intense from
start to finish. You always think that some nasties are about to creep up on you unawares,
and that is pretty much the case as this facility has been overrun by homicidal raptors.
These aren't too difficult to dispose of though, as there's plenty of shotgun ammo lying
sround. Maybe the backtracking between the various parts of the factory was a tad arduous,
but the distances required aren't too large so it's not a major problem. I did enjoy the
sequence around the sewer where you had to activate/deactivate certain switches to progress
further, and the vending machine idea was a nice touch. It definitely augers well for the
finished product." - Ryan (05-Dec-2025) |

"The ratings may seem slightly higher than you'd expect for a demo, but I don't think you can get much more out of TR1 than this (I mean, thanks to the continuous support from community developers and TRX, you just never know). The facility setting is very well done, ominous, the environments help to develop the narrative, and although there might be a little too much of running to and from in search of the many keys, the author supplies a map and notes of where to use each key. The paths are not always obvious though, so I did get lost now and then — played it blindly and yet I'm eager to replay it for walkthrough purposes —, but still this kept me glued to the screen from start to finish. 55 minutes, 1 secret. 11/25" - Treeble (01-Dec-2025) |

"An awesome level inspired by Dino Crisis. The gameplay is diverse with lots of different
tasks and surprises. I really liked how the builder managed to do storytelling - I'm
intrigued as to how the story will develop in the full version. There is a lot of
customizations and lots of details - you can really see that the author put a lot of effort
when building this game. The atmosphere is amazing and mysterious. I'm also happy to see a
skybox used in this TR1 level. The only issue is that there were some shortcuts in the big
sewer room. In general, it's a fantastic demo and I'm eager to play the full version when
it's out. A really solid work! Recommended." - BlackWolfTR (12-Nov-2025) |

"A map with dinos good for a crisis. It's very pro, doesn't need much fixing for the full version. Audio makes it fresh and more spooky but I'd add sound to animating textures like rotating fans and pouring sewage. The facility could also feel more functional, e.g. chemical storage could have chemicals, the generator room could have power supply and that "no entry" sign could be paired with a door. Another problem is the inventory map, I didn't make use of it as many passages never open and you get on the same road instead. It keeps focus and prevents long running but I always wondered if I'm routing myself optimally or missing shortcuts maybe existing maybe not. Fun fact: I felt like I played this before, then I realized it's the same builder reapproaching the idea but in a way differing from the previous take, so it might be good to play both of them." - DJ Full (02-Nov-2025) |

"It's hard to say anything majorly negative about this level aside from the darkness in
some parts. From the atmosphere, gameplay and the intricate way it has set some things up
makes it one of the best levels built on the newest TRX engine combo from the Lost
Artifacts dev team, making use of TR1 in some ways that wouldn't have been possible
without the team's efforts. For one, the ambient changes and sound sources were used
perfectly to set the atmosphere up, as well as the tracks and audio used- zero complaints
about the graphics and how everything was designed too. The gameplay is the strongest
point, with branching paths and a demand for you to know how to traverse it, feeling a
sense of achievement should you get to the end, and the story entices you in ways that
makes you want more, even if by using AI for some parts of it.
There's no real reason not to play this level, as it's a mix of tomb raider and dino
crisis in a genuinely good way, having both of the worlds and never making you feel
awkward while moving Lara, and giving the player unique interactions with vending machines
for stuff, vents to traverse the map or the map itself to traverse using a map. While
backtracking is plentiful, it's used with purpose, and despite some hiccups that are
expected, this is a polished product well worth your time." - OblivionJaw (01-Nov-2025) |
