"Played Tomb Raider since its initial 1996 release, on to emulators, later the Remasters, but had
never gotten a chance to try TRLE's because I'm a Linux user and the process just sounded
confusing. Watched many being played and always wanted to; so I messed around and it was actually
way easier than expected using umu-launcher. Some don't work, this one does, and I greatly enjoyed
it! I think it was well designed, well hinted, the secrets were pretty devious and I only found
the 5th one because of the hinting, and the 6th I just got lucky. Gameplay was great, not a lot of
enemies but that's fine with me, I'd rather explore than do a ton of fighting. Excellent use of
three dimensional space in the levels, and intelligent pathing so that there's really not a lot of
tedious climbing or backtracking. Excellent 'single level' (plus bonus) TRLE, glad it was my first
one I've played myself as it was very enjoyable. Had one section that was kind of tough for me but
after a series of trying this and that I found the sequence and then it was straightforward. Thank
you Agent!" - khaytsus (10-Jan-2026) |

"These TR1 levels are starting to grow on me. Of course, you can never go wrong with any
AgentXP level, and this one is no exception. Never having played AoD, the frequent allusions
in the builder's video walk meant nothing to me, but I had a good time navigating several
distinct areas and acquiring all six secrets. The other "video walkers" apparently missed
the tacked-on bonus level, of which there's no advance notice that I could see, and it only
comes into play if you allow the end credits to run all the way through. It's not much to
write home about, however, consisting only of five or ten extra minutes with no enemies, but
it serves as icing on the cake. Nicely done, as always in her case." - Phil (01-Jan-2026) |

"A recreation of an AOD area that many of us have played. My favorite parts were the alchemy
lab and the Eckhart battle." - young Lara Croft (01-Jan-2026) |

"You can always rely on AgentXP to produce a quality raid and this is no different. It's
somewhat loosely based on the ending section of AoD, and some parts here may look slightly
familiar to those who have recently played through it. Sure, they may have been a slight
overuse of switches to pull, but the gameplay consistently remains entertaining throughout
and the trap sequences, timed runs and puzzles are all nicely set up. The surroundings are
refreshing from beginning to end, and this easily ranks as one of the most visually pleasing
TR1 levels out there. After you defeat Eckhardt, if you wait out the end credits, you get a
small epilogue with Lswimming n her mansion swimming pool. It's quick and easy, but sweet
nonetheless. A thoroughly enjoyable level." - Ryan (01-Jan-2026) |

"Excellent as always even with the restrictions of the TR1 environment. Some great locations
beautifully decorated. Sure, a lot of switches, but then that's TR1 for you. A mixture of
straightforward and sneaky secrets. The bonus epilogue was a good way to end. A pleasure to
play such quality level building." - Adrian (19-Dec-2025) |

"Enjoyed playing this one - AgentXP games are always good! Lots to explore and solve which I liked. Not too hard, and where it did get really tricky, it took a little lateral thought as to how to sort the various challenges.
The 'boss' at the end was nice, a double bluff in that you think you've killed him but you haven't and he resurrects!" - David (15-Dec-2025) |

"And so, we reach the last engine for the author to conquer, proving her skills adapt to any
limitation and makes even the most classic gameplay feel fresh and innovative. I enjoyed
every bit of it, it’s a single level but tells a whole story without overstaying its
welcome, it has brief introduction parts, a main hub with plenty of puzzles, various
recreations of AOD’s final levels, a boss fight, a proper ending sequence and even a little
post credit surprise. Congratulations, I hope to see more of your levels on the classic
engines! Highly recommended." - Feder (11-Dec-2025) |

"One of the best TRX levels out there. Engaging but still chill gameplay and visuals closer
to AoD than TR1. I also loved the little bonus, so watch the credits and wait for it. Highly
recommended." - billie2001 (11-Dec-2025) |

"It’s been awhile since I played TR1 level. I welcome the quality of life changes
implemented here - especially the extended and improved move set.
Level itself is great! It looks authentic enough to still perceive it as a TR1 level. But
it seems bigger than the average TR1 level and the amount of static and interactive
objects exceeds the usual limitations. Textures are great in terms of color, detail and
stylization - they look appropriate and fitting. Music and ambient effects are perfect.
I love huge elaborate puzzles, especially the first one with graves and a vertical
structure of the giant tomb. Battles are fun and not very stressful. I like the gorilla
conversion. The final boss is fun too, I somehow forgot about the phases and was surprised
each time he proceeded to attack me.
I decided not to spend time looking for secrets, as I did not have enough time this
evening, though I somehow found three unintentional ones and two really cool ones that I
spotted and figured out a way to obtain. So naturally I want to find the last one, but I
almost never do, when the level is finished. Oh well.
The ending is perfect. A long awaited way to the surface, surrounded by houses and
streetlamps feels like a well-deserved relief from the stressful tomb-raiding night. I
finished the level in 2 hours and one minute.
A little bonus level at the end with one of my favourite OST pieces was a nice surprise!
I never miss a new AgentXP level! Glad I didn’t have to wait a month to play it!" - MaxDeaconVR (10-Dec-2025) |

"At the starting point, the unassuming floor features an ingenious design. The combination of
switches and blocks upstairs to open doors in different locations is refreshing. The
innovative design of the sword-wielding skeleton warriors is truly a highlight.
I met a problem in game, all things become lines,so I have to use another unzip game to load
savegames.Besides this,all are so nice.
Total around 2 hours to finish it and highly recommended." - cheng (04-Dec-2025) |

"Another AOD inspired masterpiece! First part delights us with an original setting, while the second one is more familiar. I
was very satisfied after playing both something new and a reimagining. Loved the outside areas as well, it’s remarkable
how the builder polished every little detail, even in rooms we only spend a little time in! If you’re looking for quality, here
you can’t go wrong.
The cauldron was genius, and the short bonus level was the cherry on top I didn’t know I needed." - Leti (04-Dec-2025) |

"Another proof TR6 textures work very well in the editor, this time for TR1OD. I'd make it comfier but it's pretty, chill and pretty chill, and all good minus too much climbing in the catacomb area. Some customization on the way will surprise you, always nice to have. If you like AoD but wish for better controls, there's no reason for you to skip this one. Don't Alt+F4 the final stats, there's something more..." - DJ Full (04-Dec-2025) |
