"From start to finish, this game kept surprising me with its originality!
Gameplay&Puzzles: a lot of variety, mostly in the form of traps, making the game feel
unique taking in consideration that it happens to be a Spa ahah. I have really nothing to
criticize here.
Enemies, Objects & Secrets: the game started with some enemies here and there and then the
spa felt empty for most of the game until the very end when you fight the final boss. I
think some more human enemies in the mid-game would make the Spa feel more alive. The
apples being ammo was cute but it took me some time to figure it out that it was just
ammo. The "fire balls" that instantly kill you was fun at the beggining, but felt
repetitive and obnoxious throughout the whole game.
Atmosphere, Sound & Cameras: looks like a Spa, feels like a Spa, and even the music made
me vibe ALL game. I'm very impressed with the whole game athmosphere. Bravo!
Lighting & Textures: the level doesn't feel too bright nor too dark, with the correct
areas being well lighted and textured. Surprisingly, even though some rooms are kinda
squary, the textures were so well placed that they didn't feel blocky. Good job on that.
In overall, a highly recomended chill game for veteran players. It is hard, but manageable
throughout some few days of playing. Oldie players will love this game (it feels like home
but also like we are playing a whole new tomb raider game)." - LOTRKingluis (09-May-2026) |

"This is one of the most creative, entertaining, and humorous levels that I have played in a long time.
The first half of the level focuses on platforming which utilizes traps and other environmental
features in ways that I have never seen in other custom levels. The second half of the level includes
many uncommon puzzles that were highly rewarding and challenging in a good and logical way. In my
opinion, there are no dull moments at this level, as it is constantly throwing unique challenges at
the player, which require precision, correct timing, and problem solving. It is noteworthy that some
jumps are quite tricky although I didn't find anything overly difficult. My only criticism is that the
environment feels like it is designed primarily to support the gameplay, lacking polish that would
make it truly beautiful. I did also experience some extreme framerate drops here and there, and
lowering the resolution and turning off ambient occlusion didn't seem to help a lot. This was
unexpected since I have not noticed any framerate drops in other TEN levels, and my computer is far
from a potato PC. Apart from these small issues, the level is excellent and I recommend it very
highly. There are not many levels that I will ever replay, but I will quite likely replay this in the
future." - Samu (04-May-2026) |

"It is always nice finding a different kind of tomb raider. This game is different. Many good
ideas. In general I liked it a lot. The only issue I find is that in some moments you don´t
know what to do and you need to read the author comments or even look for solution in you
tube, for example the tree you have to put water. Another problem was in a room where you
have to stand over a tile in order to move a tube, the problem is that you move the tube and
nothing happens. You have to do it by going in and out the tile in a very particular way, I
didnt find any logic in this action. But obviously the big part of the game was great. Thank
you very much." - Juan Carlos (27-Mar-2026) |

"What a fantastic and original level! Visually beautiful with original puzzles and arcade
elements. I really enjoyed the music. Lots of humor.
However, its downside is that it was incredibly laggy at times, making it difficult to play.
Despite this, I recommend it." - Sylwia (16-Mar-2026) |

"Haha, when I said I liked the vaporwave touch in Naxheel's "Route to Alchemy" level, I
definitely wasn't prepared for this! It's unusual to have a level that feels both super
chill and so intense at the same time. Some of the platforming sections aren't exactly
easy, and sometimes the camera is not really helping. Take it easy, save often (in
different slots), don't rush, and don't hesitate to check the walkthrough — I had to look
at it several times, which I usually don't like, but the author provides a commented video
walkthrough that's actually nice to watch, so for once I was happy to use it.
The gameplay can be quite unconventional at times, and I often had to look around
carefully to find what I needed. Note that when you've been stuck somewhere for a while,
the music will eventually turn your brain into marshmallow mode... The soundtrack indeed
is really special and in line with this both cosy and creepy environment, featuring some
great vaporwave tunes and a lot of jokes/easter eggs I didn't always get. There are also
things that I did not understand what they were here for (like the organic apples, I
assumed they would help against the deadly oranges but apparently not, or did I miss
something?!)
I especially liked playing this during winter — it felt warm and oddly fitting, the night
sky you can see above the building could belong to any season, so it was really like, it's
so cold outside and I'm chilling (and sweating!!) in the warmth of the spa. It's my first
time playing a TEN TRLE, so I don't know whether the new moves come from the builder or
the pack itself, but the new crawling animation is so cute! <3" - OrFractal (13-Mar-2026) |

"When you have played more than 1000 TRLEs, it's not easy for a level to surprise you with
its creativity, and this one is extremely creative. Of course, creativity has its toll and
it outsmarted me a couple of times, sending me to a walkthrough consultation, which I don't
really mind. It doesn't excel in visuals, but they are pleasent enough and they serve the
gameplay well. Every aspect of Tomb Raiding is there: exploration, platforming, traps, boss
fights. Platforming and some traps are on the challenging side (I died a thousand times), so
the difficulty is not "medium" as the builder thinks. Not overly challenging either. A
persistent average player can make it with some effort and become a better player out of it.
Highly recommended." - billie2001 (27-Feb-2026) |

"A magnus opus really for a debut published level. Loads of imaginative gameplay & puzzles
requiring some serious left-field thinking. Great use of novel objects. There was some
wallpapering in sections. Achievement system was an interesting idea. Perhaps a few more
hints might be needed - but not too many! Overall very impressive and enjoyable and
definitely worthy of scoring tens. Kudos for supplying a video talk-through too. What's
next?" - Adrian (30-Jan-2026) |

"In spite of a few challenges, I refused to put this entry down due to two reasons. One
was the sheer magnificence and fluidity of the level and secondly, the author's video
walkthrough and helpful advice on YouTube which encouraged me to continue when I thought
I'd encountered a glitch or two. It is always a bonus to have the author's video
walkthrough along with their narrative because without the narrative, you can't know what
controls are being used even if you can see an action being successfully executed. With
this newer engine it can take a bit of time to become accustomed to the enhanced features
(such as being able to mount and dismount small "pavements" in crawl mode by pressing
Action). Then there's the sprint jump that we see here again which can be a bit tricky to
time right due to the required extra space.
The whole concept was quirky in terms of humour and the need to pay close attention to
clues that appear on screen as you progress through a certain area but there were some
ambiguous tasks that required the walkthrough (in my case anyway) like watering some
docile frogs to make them all springy again and shooting a café display counter. I mean
how else would Lara go about getting a piece of cake when she can merely pistol-detonate
the entire counter as opposed to merely asking? Lol.
I confess that due to a mild neck injury I had to stop just a few minutes before the end
during the boss fight because I was simply getting too tense so I watched the completion
on Kain TRLE's video instead.
In conclusion I found the graphics and music crisp. Some of the challenges do look
intimidating - which is why I would strongly recommend referring to the author's video as
he shows you exactly how to approach them - but are achievable with a few practice
reloads. Timed challenges are quite generous and you'll get various Achievement Awards
for thinking outside the box and obliterating things you might not otherwise have done.
I can't believe this is Kain's first level when I checked his listing here. He shows
great talent and determination to get things right and ensuring the level is pretty much
playable for most skill levels (although beginners may struggle).
I can't wait to see more releases from this talented builder in the future. Thank you!" - High Priestess (30-Jan-2026) |

"There's an entirely unique theme here with a Spa complex; various textures sets (along with new ones) are used convincingly to give the place a multitude of themes while mostly feeling like part of the same location, and there's some very large and impressive rooms, like the hub room the layout is based around. There's also a bunch of modified and new objects to support the theme, as well as a bunch of new interactions involving them. Lighting is also great in most areas, with interesting highlights and various styles for each part of the building. The music is also a standout here, with Vapourwave and other vaguely nostalgic music that gives the whole level a completely unique vibe, while also making each part of the level feel different. If you backtrack at times there is an unfortunate issue where the music can start overlapping, but it usually fixes with progress.
As a TombEngine level, there's a bunch of new features and interactions here, and a lot of the level is using the new movesets and interactions. It especially sticks out with the crawling, where I would normally dread the amount of it here, but the changes make it really smooth and transitions intuitive in ways they normally aren't (and this is also used for some really unique traps and navigation). There's quite a bit of combat, but enemies are also quite weak and you get plenty of ammo, so it's the variety of the enemies you fight that sticks out. Despite being a single map (secret aside), it's massive and took me nearly three hours. Between it really making you push the limits of the moveset additions and traps that do all kind of custom things, it gets quite brutal at times, and potentially frustrating, although it's also good about getting rid of obstacles when backtracking, and said moveset changes also give you more ways to get creative.
The only things I disliked were finding a Star in an underwater room early on, which I did stumble across eventually, but it could do with a hint, especially as a seemingly important object nearby ends up being a red-herring. The final waterskin puzzle is also so obtuse I had to check the walkthrough (which is at least provided in the readme) multiple times even after knowing the general goal; this last one unfortunately dragged the gameplay down to a nine despite almost everything else being sublime.
There's a whole bonus achievement system too, with a really early version of the map to look around if you find enough (although, based on the walkthrough, progression seemed to bug early so I couldn't do much there). The map's style is a comedic one, with plenty of humour, but it doesn't use that as an excuse to skimp on interesting gameplay and interaction either, and the various messages and interactions also convey a story as you progress. My issues with the final puzzle are unfortunate as I'd consider this a must play masterpiece even despite that (to the point I'm still tempted to give all tens), and it's an incredibly creative level with new ideas in almost every room, as well as a showcase of how much TombEngine can do." - Mman (28-Jan-2026) |

"Finally, I finished the game. I have to say that this game is really special — the puzzles
are quirky and full of surprises. For example, there are many puzzles I’ve never seen
before, like watering frogs, which make the game so addictive that I just couldn’t put it
down.
The graphics and music are absolutely amazing, drawing me completely into the game. It felt
like I was enjoying music and working out at the same time while wearing headphones.
However, I did run into a small issue. During the final boss fight, the boss kept flying
upward until it got stuck, making it impossible to proceed. I had no choice but to reload my
save file reluctantly." - cheng (21-Jan-2026) |

"As creative as 20 usual levels, so even though imperfect in visuals, I rate it orange out of TEN. If you play like me, some audio loops become too much, so play faster. And mind platforming is advanced so wait until you are as well. But play it at some point - don't you want a relaxing spa session?" - DJ Full (21-Jan-2026) |

"A true masterpiece, this game really has it all: boss fights, challenging climbing sections,
puzzles, and an amazing level design that I've never seen in this style before. a must
play!!" - Raider278 (19-Jan-2026) |
