"Extremely atmospheric, with the wonderful Ireland ambience. Exploration based, spiced up
with some puzzles, traps, very few enemies. As a rule, I hate limited pistol ammo because it
makes the overly prudent player reload for a better outcome, but I must admit that in this
case it doesn't really matter. As the game progresses, you sink more and more into this
wonderful, eerie atmosphere, and suddenly... disco breaks loose. LOL. dj_full is right: The
plot twist if good for players like him and awful for players like billie (me). Ha ha. But I
saved the day by changing the track to something equally unfitting but at least to my
liking, and the good impressions remained intact.
The only thing that bothered me was the disappearing horizon at the starting area. I also
increased the contrast of my monitor and the result was great.
Dear builder, you have managed to hit my favourite builders list. Thank you.
PS. I'll even disregard the lack of bilinear filter. :))" - billie2001 (21-Apr-2026) |

"This is an Ireland level, although one with adult Lara. The theme is well executed with a creepy atmosphere and plenty of custom objects, including multiple custom animations for Lara herself. While a lot of the level is in tight corridors, the bigger rooms and outdoors areas look impressive. The Bear Traps were also interesting as something I can't recall seeing before. The level has quite a lot of camera use to frame certain areas, and it does a good job without getting in the way much. There's a big twist towards the end that changes the mood a lot and shows some interesting technical work too.
According to the author the nature of this level is supposed to be a vaguely autobiographical mood piece, but, while relatively short, it does have a decent amount of traditional gameplay too. You have no health/sprint/air bars; they still run out, but the level isn't tough enough for it to be an issue, you also have limited ammo, but enemies are rare and die easily, so it's also not a problem. Jumping is worse than normal, which is the one base change that can be a little irritating, but platforming is simple enough for it not to be too bad, and, given the nature of the level, I guess that slight feeling of inadequacy might be the point?
The level flows well and there are some creative interactions along with a decent amount of exploration. There curiously seems to be multiple endings (unless it was a bug), as, after the "twist" you can just leave, but you miss the whole final area, which has the most challenging tasks in the map, including a surprisingly brutal spike trap that's the closest the level gets to actually being difficult. Unfortunately, the actual "real" ending isn't much different from the other one. A unique level that works in itself and as what the author states it represents, although, given what the content implies, I hope they are getting some help with those things now." - Mman (17-Apr-2026) |

"A map for the evening, with nicely prolonged flares but still missing some, plus their light needs to be brighter, and I'd also up the brightness of the highlights you need to focus on. The corridor geometry is again immaculate. The only big visual error is in the starting area - a missing portal you also can't pass through from one part of the room to another, so I'd at least fix that - but the rest is almost seamless. Not seamless is the border between playable area and not, just like the wall in the desert level was - I'd think of something less intrusive but then you'd have an impression of too much enclosure so it is a difficult task indeed. Some platforming issues occur compared to usual TR4 so if it's about TEN, I hope it gets a patch sooner than later. The plot twist is good for players like me and awful for players like billie, but I wish the last door it leads to hid something more, as good levels need strong endings. I do hope the crowbar doesn't mean what I think it means." - DJ Full (15-Apr-2026) |

"The music is absolutely perfect. The soundtrack at the start of the game is dark and
desolate, yet it later becomes intense and thrilling, yet it fits perfectly throughout. The
visuals are also excellent. The puzzles are not overly difficult, but they are still very
well-designed. That beautiful bear trap was a perfect trap that lured Lara right into it;
she thought it was something valuable, and I’ve never seen anything quite like it." - cheng (11-Apr-2026) |
