"Every level in this series is a big step up from the last. This second level has a bit more
of it's own identity than the first and is a decent but short raid. Doesn't hold up like
Last Saga 3 or 4, but still worth a play." - Lorax (03-Aug-2023) |

"This is shorter (at only 8 minutes) but at least a bit more intense with a for that time seldom usage of breakable tiles and also a collapsing floor reminiscent of the one in TR 5's Coliseum level. Not much else to say about it as otherwise there is little else to do or see else than running around rather small but quite carefully designed areas (texturing and lighting are quite fine), killing or avoiding the occasional enemy along the way. I wasn't a fan of those oversized fires and one or two paper thin walls were also visible. Two of the three secrets actually counted this time, an improvement ;). Overall, neither spectacular nor bad but better things are about to come..." - manarch2 (05-Nov-2021) |

"Similar to the prequel, this is a remix of Rome from TRC, this time borrowing heavily from the second level. For a temple the setting feels a bit cramped, although the original game was like that as well. Texturing and lighting are good, but lighting could use a bit more variation. The gameplay is shorter than the previous release, but this time we get a good number of surprise trap sequences thrown at Lara - boulders, spikes, an collapsing floors keep her on her toes. There is also some simple combat against crocodiles, along with wraiths and bats to appease. Again it's a level that could have been fleshed out a bit more to become a more fulfilling experience. 13 minutes." - JesseG (29-Oct-2020) |

"Quite a brief journey through a familiar
Roman Colosseum environment, but
nonetheless a solid one. It ended rather
abruptly after just under 15 minutes, but
the lighting and texturing are effective
and pleasing and it offers enough gameplay
to entertain for the duration, including a
breakable tile run and a brief torch
puzzle, as well as three fairly nicely
hidden secrets to find (one of which
didn't register). Not a bad choice for
when you have a little free time." - Ryan (26-Nov-2018) |

"Like the first level of the last saga series, Temple of Time
is very similar to a Chronicle level, Colesseum in this case
(or was it Coliseum?). Disappointingly unlike the first
level it is a bit boring, uncreative and it cuts down the
gameplay even more than Athens did, besides I didn't like
the original Colesseum anyway. Even two secrets are exactly
the same I believe, although I am not entirely sure. The
time it takes to finish the level is about 15 minutes, and a
couple of traps and combining items are the only exciting
things happening. Bonus side - it uses rarely used textures
and has decent atmosphere and music. Could be played in a
short break but don't expect much." - Nomad (21-Apr-2017) |

"The visuals of this one are absolutely perfect as well as the music but many sounds are missing and no space is left for camera usage, although no lookout hints are needed because the thing is absolutely straightforward. One disadvantage of such easy puzzles is anytime you see a slot for puzzle, you already have the puzzle, so there's in fact no puzzle. SUMMARY: Good thing to take while waiting for dinner, so the time isn't wasted and the kettle isn't burnt." - DJ Full (02-Jul-2016) |

"I'm really sorry this little adventure only lasted 17 minutes because I was enjoying myself. It does manage to pack quite a lot into its short running time, with some nice traps and linear, fast paced action. There are few enemies, it's mainly about finding the artefact needed to end the level, but the atmosphere is very good and this would be another excellent coffee break level." - Jay (01-Jul-2016) |

"Short but enjoyable level full of traps and dangerous situations for Lara, so be careful and save often before you enter into a room or do something. There are very few enemies to shoot (only crocs) but also another enemies like wraits or locusts; secrets not difficult to find. It seems that there's a problem with the sounds here, 'cause there are missing sounds (doors) and the background music turns on and off constantly. Cameras are not really needed, 'cause the level is very lineal and the triggered objects are always close to you. The best, lighting and texturization." - Jose (04-Dec-2015) |

"This level is even shorter than the first one, clocking in at just under 19 minutes. I had Cher's walkthrough in front of me for assistance. Even so, a 19-minute level shortchanges a raider in the gameplay department, and rating points in fairness need to be deducted in that category. Other than this minor gripe, the level was fun to play and easy on the eyes. The lighting was superb, with a nice sunsplash effect in a couple of the rooms. I'm now about to embark on The Last Saga 3, but there are worlds of difference between the first two segments and the final segment. Play the first two as an appetizer, as the best stuff is still to come." - Phil (26-Mar-2007) |

"This level isn't so long but good. Some puzzles are little hard but not too hard. I will recommend this level." - Samu (13-Jul-2004) |

"I think this is a waste such a beautiful atmosphere and a setting with a temple-roman like style lasted only ten minutes with two golden roses. You get a star a gemstone and the Stone of Time to finish. There was a key to find and a torch to light but everything to easy. The only enemies were one crocodiles and some bats. I really liked this but it's not much of a level if you want a challenge then choose one of Tomo's latest or the full 'Temple of Time' level." - Kristina (12-Sep-2003) |

"Another good effort by Tomo. Very nice atmosphere enjoyable gameplay although quite easy." - Sherry (19-Aug-2003) |

"This only lasts 20 minutes and half of that is lifted bodily from the Colliseum level of TR:C. How do I rate the gameplay therefore? Well it's enjoyable; but a copy is a copy however you look at it. Perhaps if this had greater depth I'd be able to overlook the blatant plagiarism but as it is (and despite the beautiful ambience) it all strikes me as being a bit of a cheat. Still it does contain one of my favourite elements: the 'so this is where I've ended up!' moment; I suppose that makes it all worthwhile." - Orbit Dream (23-Jun-2003) |

"This level is set in a temple. Lara needs to find the Stone of Time and this is not too hard. Puzzles are not difficult. An artifact to find and to combine. Not many enemies: a skeleton a crocodile and wraiths. Three Golden Roses to find as secrets. Graphics and cameras were ok sound was suitable. Lara needs to master a few traps. It is not a long level and took me about 20 minutes. But given its release date a level worth playing. Will play Volcano next. This one here is suitable for beginners." - Navi (10-May-2003) |

"I've just finished Athens in the Last Saga series and again if you've played Rome in Chronicles you'll find this very familiar territory. In fact these levels are like mini versions of Chronicles with a twist. Right from the start you travel through a series of traps and puzzles you'll know how to deal with them you've done this before so they are not difficult. But all told this is well worth the download. I'm off now to play the last part Volcano." - CC (18-Apr-2003) |

"Is it because I already played the more elaborate version that I made it through this in 12 minutes flat? A fairly linear run from room to room with nothing to stop your progress. Pole climb to get the key crawl to the crowbar pry off the star light the torch shoot the crocodile do the TR5 Rome routine and there you are ready to step into the Room of Stars. The atmosphere is great and what little gameplay you get is fairly entertaining but in retrospect this seems more of a demo for Temple of Time Version 2. Funny when you think about it that the only demo's who ever make it into full scale levels aren't named demos." - Dimpfelmoser (12-Dec-2002) |

"This is the original level and as I played version 2 first I breezed through this in around eleven minutes. This level is quite simple with only some breakable floor tiles giving any trouble but the textures were great as was the lighting. Finally a level where you can actually see what you are doing." - Torry (06-Oct-2002) |

"Why oh why was this such a short level! I absolutely loved the feel and look of this level from the golden rose secrets to the tiny rats gnawing at my heels to the wonderful use of textures. You will obviously notice when you play this that the level is made up of objects from the roman levels of Chronicles and also some of the puzzles and traps are quite similar such as the collapsing floors over the lava but nonetheless I had a blast playing it for the 20 minutes it lasted. I really hope to see more levels using these objects real soon." - Sash (21-Jun-2002) |

"A rather short level but with quite a decent atmosphere nice textures and well done lighting. During the 20 minutes of gameplay progression is sequentially taking you from one task to the next. I liked the bat swarms there are two wraiths two crocodiles and a skeleton which is easy to avoid. The collapsing floors are fun and the custom objects (Stone of Time skeletal parts lying around) very nicely done. I found all three secrets (roses) but the third did not register as one." - Michael (21-Jun-2002) |

"Lara's quest in this 15 minutes level is the Stone Of Time. I loved this level! The use of TRC Roman textures and objects made the level so cool! Well if you liked the TRC Rome levels specially Colosseum this is a must download level! The puzzles were simple and there were few enemies. The texturization and lighting was excellent! There were even the same traps with falling floors from Colosseum!" - Treeble (21-Jun-2002) |

"Tomo has experimented a lot with his level and managed to create a nice and creepy atmosphere. Enemies are almost non-existent and instead he focused on light and shadow effects. Unfortunately the level is a bit short (some 20 minutes) but you are rewarded with great sounds and a not too difficult gameplay. Note that the level actually makes use of TR5 objects!" - Qwendo (21-Jun-2002) |

"Some nice touches here. I liked the attack by rats (not seen that before) and also the use of textures. There's a tricky fall-away floor sequence and generally some nice ideas. I was foxed near the end as there were some brands which appeared to need lighting but no pickup brand with which to do so ... turns out it was a lot simpler than I'd thought though. (I always look for the hard solutions). Quite a simple level all told." - David (21-Jun-2002) |

"This level was not nearly long enough for me I was having so much fun. What an absolutely creepy atmosphere! There are few enemies but with the lighting and textures Tomo managed to create a level that will have you looking over your shoulder every chance you get. He's combined pushable blocks breakaway tiles and new objects in a terrific level - I was sorry to see the end so soon." - RaiderGirl (21-Jun-2002) |

"Although this was a short level (too short for my taste) it will capture you. The atmosphere is superb the lightning is done very well. You start in an underground room and the first item you'll have to find is a key. There are not many enemies and the ones you encounter are easy to get rid off. There are some collapsible floors one had me reloading a few times. The secrets are nicely hidden and I found 3 roses. Gameplay is straightforward and the star door is a sight for sore eyes. 16-06-2002" - Gerty (21-Jun-2002) |

"A good but much too short level. There are too few enemies and the puzzles are too simple to solve. But with some work this could become a great level." - SilentViper (21-Jun-2002) |

"Another nice level by Tomo. This one was even shorter than Athens and I expected a lot more of it than I got but again - because of the new objects the nice atmosphere texturing and lightning I couldn't rate it lower than I did. The very last room was great with that strange gate and you already could expect by that time that this nice level will end. I just didn't want to enter that gate! But well all good things must end (even if they're too short)." - eTux (21-Jun-2002) |
