"Of course, your goal here is look for five keys, but it wont be very hard; in fact I found six. The level is very easy to play, press some buttons, find some artifacts and shoot some enemies. There are extra weapons and enough ammo so you'll not need to use the pistols. The level is reasonably textured and lighting, and the enemies are well balanced; I escaped from the small hammergods. Not a jewel of the custom levels but it's enjoyable." - Jose (22-Jan-2018) |

"A small, linear 15-minute sprint through a
Karnak setting. Ninjas, scorpions and
crocodiles are rife to try and stop Lara in her
tracks. You do find the five keys alluded to in
the title by the end of the level, along with
an unusable extra one and a couple of canopic
jars. The level ends shortly after." - Ryan (17-Dec-2016) |

"I liked the bright and friendly look of this level, it let me feel a bit like being on holidays. There is a good mix of enemies, and since the builder was generous in medipacks, weapons and ammo, they are easy to deal with (except for the demigods and the hammerman , so I decided to flee from them). Apart from pushing a couple of buttons there is not much more to do here. The title says 'five keys', but I found 6 of them, so I could take one home. 20 minutes." - Jerry (04-Oct-2009) |

"This Karnak level is short and has its downsides (dull lighting, thin walls) but is interesting for some ideas which are not quite predictable. We have the walking on the frozen water and in one room the appearance of a bunch of Hammer demigods. Give it a try." - eRIC (12-Jan-2009) |

"Compared to 'Prehistoric Strike Back' this level is an improvement. The textures aren't really placed at random the darkness was used to hide certain objects and buttons in order to slightly increase the difficulty which is always a good thing in my book. One of the canopic jars is used as a trick by the author in order to encourage the player to stay in the pool and try in vain to get that canopic jar even though there are two others that he or she will soon obtain. So three canopic jars are not necessary (only two are needed in order to reduce the depth of the pool so that the player could get the golden vraeus and a guardian key). There is a pretty interesting contrast between the inside of the temple and the outside world. The temple is much darker than the area outside it apparently. The objects the switches were well-placed and the puzzles were well-done. I have found one secret and there are enough objects in order to finish this level. Enemies mainly consist of crocodiles scorpions hammergods (fortunately they are avoidable) and ninjas. I got out of this level with one guardian key. By the way there was an inaccessible box of shotgun ammunition in the area with the unreachable canopic jar and I have detected a few paper-thin walls along the way." - Sakusha (16-Dec-2004) |

"Slightly better than the author's previous level but there's still not much to do and the level can be completed in seven minutes. The texturing has improved and the enemies are placed a little better than in the other level. Your main goal is to find five keys which are either just lying on the ground or can be reached after you've pressed a button or two." - Magnus (29-Jan-2004) |

"A pretty ordinary Karnak level and pretty buggy too. I wonder if Florian really tested this level because I really couldn't get Lara to grab that canopic underwater. A shame - had to edit my savegame to add that canopic jar. The level itself is pretty straightforward on a quest for five guardian keys but you end up getting six. Well I guess one of them was your reward for this adventure. Textures are better applied than in Florian's other level but this time you get several wafer thin walls. 15 minutes." - Treeble (24-Jan-2004) |

"At only 20 minutes with one secret found this was over before I knew it and that was a shame as I really liked the look of the outdoor Karnak area you spend most of the last half in. As the name says you need to find 5 guardian keys although you end with a sixth to find these I would like to say it was a challenge but it really isn't the only part you may find a bit perplexing is when you try to pick up the Canopic jar in some water but if you've read the other reviews you'll find it's just a red herring but unlike bERT I could pick up the shells near it. Enemies were incidental even the 3 hammergods which you can just poke your tongue at and zoom past. Just a call out to some level builders if you can master putting together enough rooms to build a 20 minute level can you please persist and at least put another 20 minutes worth in or people will more than likely overlook downloading them and go for something more substantial." - Sash (18-May-2003) |

"A small karnak level. Textures were very good but a lot were missing or blacked out and lighting and atmosphere were very much the original game. Find two canopic jars first (the one in the water at the beginning was a tease Lara just wouldn't pick it up). Picking up the 1st jar at the top of the stairs brought on five hammergods I didn't wait to count them exactly I ran for it. It took a long time to find the switch in the very dark room to get the 2nd jar. Placing these allows Lara to walk on water to claim a vraeus and key. And now you have to find four keys to leave the level. This could have been a great level the imagination was there with nice little touches. Well placed enemies like ninjas crocodiles and scorpions. I had the dreaded Lara with two ponytails and streaks out of her head the solution to which Palopique gave me thanks Palo. That is use the original script.dat and choose Karnak." - CC (02-Apr-2003) |

"This is a definite improvement over the previous level and provides 15 minutes or so of enjoyable gameplay. I haven't seen the 'water solidifying' effect for quite some time and the five keys were rather well placed. Overall this is a busy little adventure which (provided you overlook a few little discrepancies) most people will find quite entertaining." - Orbit Dream (31-Mar-2003) |

"As the name suggest you have to find 5 Guardian Keys along with a Vray. Problems to start with were the funny executable file labled 'script' which did nothing so used the standard dat files and ran the Temple of Karnak. The game play is simple with one or two twists on pickups. Cages released with buttons and ninja crocs and THREE hammer gods (just run for the exit). No secrets but I did pick up a shotgun which then disappeared? Graphics thin in places and standard for Egyptian levels with no surprises also the atmosphere rather bland. All in all play it if you literally want a five minute level." - Whistle (23-Mar-2003) |

"I thought this was a fun little adventure nothing tricky but it looks really nice there are enough enemies to be a challenge and some of the buttons and objects are well hidden. Your first objective is to find the two canopic jars and this takes some looking around for a button in the dark and a passage that you might not see at first. Picking up one also unleashes three Hammer Gods! Then as the title says you need five Guardian keys and the area to look for them in is just beautiful. The aqua blue pool made me wish I was there so I could strip off all my clothes and dive into the beautiful water (maybe without the crocs though). I was really enjoying this level so it was over way too soon for me." - RaiderGirl (21-Mar-2003) |

"Finding 5 Guardians keys and 2 Canopic Jars and 1 Vraeus is your main goal here. Had some problems with one Canopic jar as Lara wouldn't grab it. So Bert suggested to get it through TRSGeditor and that worked like a dream. I know it is cheating but I did try my hardest. And way after I finished I found out that the Canopic jar was a red herring. Nice.....but too late I am not going back. Finding also some buttons to push will open a door and that is the end trigger. Got also stuck in illegal slope. 14-03-2003" - Gerty (18-Mar-2003) |

"Starting with a nice short flyby to set the scene this is a fairly nice Karnak adventure with unfortunately a few thin walls that hurt the eye and rather short at 20 minutes. A few crocodiles scorpions hammermen you can just run away from and ninjas and solid use of raising cages and cameras as you backtrack a bit to and fro here. The five keys are guardian keys and not too hard to find. They lead you to a vraeus that opens the exit door. I had a bit of trouble with the one canopic jar which is actually a red herring so thanks to Xxenofex for the hint." - Michael (15-Mar-2003) |

"Much better than the first level but still needs work at the textures thin walls and game play department. It's an Egyptian level indoors and outdoors. This time you need to collect five guardian keys and a vraeus plus one more guardian key that you take with you total six. All the keys are easy to find as they are just scattered around and also buttons will open the next door but mostly lower cages to get one of the canopic jars. There is a third canopic jar in water but it's a red herring so don't bother with it Lara won't pick it up or the shotgun shells. One of the keys and the vraeus were visible on water before it becomes stable for Lara to walk on it and get the items. Scorpions crocodiles and ninjas are enemies to be found. One secret found and half an hour to finish the level." - Kristina (15-Mar-2003) |

"Slightly but only slightly better than this author's prehistoric level which he/she made after this one. You can get stuck again because the canopic jar in the water cannot be picked up as well as the shotgun shells near it. Used the item editor to get that jar. No fun I'm afraid. Level to forget immediately though it looked slightly better than the other level mentioned." - bERT (15-Mar-2003) |
