Reviewer's comments
"So we're in a building where we must crawl through ducts and explore some rooms that are like a combination of the VCI building from TR5 and Sohpia's office from TR3. I played Lara's version first, and just by starting you have to climb a long-ass ladder from the bottom of the building. Then you explore the building, get some interesting camera angles, shoot some guards, deal with a fire trap puzzle (which is trial and error), get the artifact, and get out to jump to the chopper. Then, Sophia's version is just the same, the only changes are: Sophia starts inside the building, so she doesn't need to climb that super long ladder; and also, she gets the revolver instead of the MP5. And yeah, that's it. I recommend playing as Sophia if you don't want to deal with that monstrous ladder. Found 3 secret golden roses." - alan (20-Nov-2022)
"A crisp and straightforward raid that allows you to play as either Lara or Sophia. I chose to play as Sophia as there are no noticeable differences between the two characters, apart from a couple of pickup changes. The office and city setting isn't too bad, but gameplay is very simplistic, and entails a long crawl, a long shimmy along a building a bit of button pushing and guard shooting and a neat burning floor puzzle and it ends after only 15 minutes. Still, might be good if you have a little spare time." - Ryan (08-Dec-2018)
"Nice but quite short level from year 2001. I liked that I can play as Natla. Level is easy and the pistol with one seacret are 50% on this level. This is level for player who search 20 min level!" - vienna (01-Mar-2017)
"This quite nicely evokes the original Sophia's office, albeit in a much shorter and easier way. Play as Sophia or Lara as you wish - I chose Sophia, just for a change. Mostly it's exploration based, with quite a bit of crawling through tunnels and exploring offices. There's a fire floor puzzle for which I found no hint, so ended up doing it through trial and error - not really difficult. Otherwise, there are secrets to find and a few really excellently well textured guards to shoot." - Jay (28-Aug-2016)
"The title of this 15-year-old level takes on a new and more somber meaning in today's world. You get a short (20 minutes) and somewhat crude raid in two office buildings. I elected to play as Lara and did not replay as Sophia (although the builder's walkthrough states that both versions are essentially the same). You get a little bit of everything along the way: a long climb a la Spiderman, long crawls through ducts and a long shimmy along a building crack. You get a formidable weapon early but insufficient ammo to deal with the high number of black-suited enemies. One to play mainly to beef up your review count." - Phil (01-Aug-2016)
"Picking the secrets represent 1/2 of the time you'll spend on this level. The rest just consists on long ladder climb and crawling, and a trial and error puzzle with a few enemies to kill along the way. The camera work on a few situations was a nice touch though!" - Zhyttya (13-Apr-2016)
"Did the author even play the level? It starts as long way up through some paint designed stairs for about one minute, and then another one hour long shimmy for a secret. Then is just a bit straight forward experience until you find an unlogical "jump puzzle" with only trial and error to help you. The lightning in the beginning was that a bit to dark and it really lacked a lot of things. At least the camera work was great! Not really recommend" - Leeth (13-Apr-2016)
"First a very long ladder to climb, next a very long crawlspace to a secret, next a very long shimmy for another secret. In my opinion there are too many crawlspaces slowing down the gameplay, and the only good touch I saw was the map with the transparent texture (which you can miss, of course). I also missed some more ammo for the extra gun to fight with the men in the room with the artifact. There is a good use of the cameras and secrets are easy to find, but the level is very short. The best were the lights and the nice texturization, but monotonous in the outside areas." - Jose (02-Feb-2016)
"Another very old level by Lucas and I found it rather charming. Playing it as Lara as well as Sophia. There is not much difference but I did them both anyway. Don't expect much as this is old school where there weren't any gadgets to enhance the WAD. Short and sweet though." - Gerty (12-Apr-2015)
"This is a relatively simple level, with lackluster gameplay and design. The character selection is kind of cool, but it offers little to enhance this level. It's the same every way it's played. Fortunately, it's not a terrible adventure. There's a decent soundtrack, interesting camera angles, and rudimentary storytelling. But it has long climbs, simple/nonexistent puzzles, and too much crawling. You might enjoy this once through, but I doubt you'll be hankering to play it again." - Xela (12-May-2014)
"A fab little office level and one I really enjoyed. You can play as Lara or Sophia and at first I thought 'what no enemies?' then they show up in abundance as mean men in black suites to take your health away! I found no med packs so it is more fun if you stick to the pistols. Only one trap/puzzle to solve and that was a fire floor whilst being shot at. Get the Isis stone and you can leave via an abrupt ending out the window though a proper finish would have been nice. Easy secrets too so not a hard level by any means but a nice one anyway." - Moonpooka (11-Jun-2004)
"This is a level or rather two levels with Lara and Sophia. Both are the same only Lara gets the HK gun and Sophia the revolver. There are tall buildings around and they have to get inside and grab the artifact. Sophia looked a little funny with her staff on hand climbing and crawling but it mysteriously disappears every time she draws guns. The enemies are some guys with suits and although the level is lacking puzzles I enjoyed it. I found three golden roses in each of the levels and got through in fifteen minute with Lara and ten with Sophia." - Kristina (05-Aug-2003)
"Standing outside a very tall VCI building and if the flyby doesn't help then the very obvious ladder on the side of the building will so you've got to climb. Just taking a moment to look around that cityscape at nighttime is very convincing. Up to offices some with fish tanks (one of the little fish is stone cold dead aaaaaaawhh). Jumping across the streets to another very tall building. This reminds me of the original game when we had to outrun Sophia up ledges to electrify her remember! You can choose to play as Sophia here but I could only play as Lara. Loved the way you could see the goons through the windows in the opposite building. I believe there was a map to the firestone room but I just saved a lot. And I could shoot the goons ahead as I went along then run in and steal the Eye of Isis. The ending was a shocker but appropriate I suppose 'cause all she had to do was get back down again to the van. 3 roses found in 25 minutes." - CC (05-Aug-2003)
"This level has a lot of strong points like the nice (even if a bit boring) texturing the interesting camera views and the choice to play the level either with Sophia or Lara. There's no big difference between the 2 levels with the exception of the starting points of the levels and some pickups in the secrets. The lighting though is not godsend and rather plain and the long crawls shimmy's and climbs were not my favorite part too. The button on the aquarium seemed funny to me and the map was cleverly hidden too even if I only understood what was meant with the semi-transparent white curtains the 2nd time I played the level. What I didn't like was that both - Sophia and Lara could get the Isis eye but as I understand only ONE of the 2 adventures really takes place so I guess it doesn't matter which of the both get the Isis eye. Interesting for a 20 minute play-time." - eTux (20-Apr-2003)
"The setting looks really good and I particularly liked the fish tanks some of the camera angles the retextured enemies and Lara's outfit. Unfortunately the gameplay is not very exciting and it incorporates a lot of long and tedious climbing crawling and shimmying. If there was a map for the burning tile puzzle I never found it but there were so many doors that remained closed. Speaking of doors they looked a bit out of place in this high tech office building but hey this is post modernism for you." - Dimpfelmoser (17-Nov-2002)
"A nice level set in the VCI Tower blocks where you have to make your way through the buildings trying to find the Isis. The level lasts about 20 minutes and you can choose to play as either Lara or Sophia the level is basically the same which ever you choose except with Sophia you're already in the office and with Lara you start off outside and have a long climb to get to the office. Gameplay involved exploring around the building making very tricky and scary jumps across the buildings crawling through vents finding levers to open doors to progress and a tricky fire-tile puzzle. Textures were ok cameras were very well done! But the level needs more lighting especially in the indoor areas also more puzzles and traps would have made it better. I found 4 secrets some were easy some were challenging. A fun 20 minutes level to play but it ended to quickly for me and I wanted to play some more! lol" - John (27-Aug-2002)
"These 2 levels are a little hard to rate as both are the same game with the only exceptions being one is played with Lara and the other is played with Sophia also there is a beginning climb up the outside of the skyscraper that Lara makes that Sophia doesn't because there is no need for her to break into her own building and one gun pick up yields different weapons for each woman. The aim in both levels is to retrieve the Isis Eye and make your way to a broken window where a hovering chopper is waiting to whisk you away unfortunately the game play is short 20 minutes and not overly taxing with only one real puzzle to work out involving a fire tile room but there is a very ingenious transparent map that shows the way if you are lucky enough to spot it. There are also 4 golden rose secrets to find and a few secret agent men...very Men in Black...to kill but otherwise these are more novelty levels allowing the player to play as someone other than Lara or Lara herself. But it is funny watching Sophia make all of Lara's moves climbing crawling shimmying with the staff never leaving her hand!" - Sash (21-Jun-2002)
"Well it has all been said in the other reviews. Pick your character (Lara or Sophia) and you are on your way to conquer the VCI building which a quick flyby shows you right at the beginning. The level is visually fun with a custom outfit the HK gun for Lara golden roses to pick up nice furniture SAS enemies à la 'Men in Black' and really cool camera angles when you jump from building to building. On the downside gameplay is not overly exciting and the looong climbs shimmies and crawls are quite annoying although mostly only needed for the secrets. Loved the end jumping out of that window and was too stupid to find that fire floor map but trial and error worked as well." - Michael (21-Jun-2002)
"Another one of Treeb's short levels that lasts only 15 minutes or so. In this one you can choose to play as either Lara or Sophia (but the game is exactly the same}. The idea is to get the Isis stone and escape and whilst the network of crawlspaces seems frustrating the camera angles on the jumps between buildings was awesome. I found 3 secrets but believe there are more. I did not much like the spectre that Sophia carried. God you could do yourself an injury with that thing LOL." - Torry (21-Jun-2002)
"A level with two protagonists to choose and a common purpose find the Isis Stone. Lara Croft or the rival Sophia Leigh have to find the Isis in a skyscraper among air ducts great jumps killing black guards and resolving an enigma with a map much particular. I have ended the level in about 20 minutes finding 3 of the 4 secrets to disposition." - Boris (21-Jun-2002)
"This is a good-looking level where you can choose either to run around with Lara or Sophia! You're in an office building (you'll recognize Sophia's office) or actually two since you jump between them. You have to find the Isis Stone before you can exit to an awaiting helicopter. Only about 15 minutes of playing but worth downloading just to see something new." - G.Croft (21-Jun-2002)
"It's a very creative level! Here you play as Lara Croft or Sophia Leigh. The map is the same and the levels are too (the only difference is that Lara's level is a bit longer) but I liked (very much) to play this level. I've taken 30 minutes to finish both levels and I liked the 'well dressed' SAS guards. And the textures are good too but I've given a 7 because lighting is very simple." - Leandro (21-Jun-2002)
"This was a fun level for me because you get to play Sophia and make her do all the things that Lara can do. Unlike in Tomb Raider 3 you are in charge of her. It was fun to run around Sophia's offices even though a lot of the doors didn't open and I enjoyed the storm effects in the game. No puzzles to speak of really except one that was pretty difficult (the map was a clever idea) I found 4 secrets though. There were quite a few guards sprinkled throughout the level and they like to attack in packs. I saw a dog through the windows when I was playing Lara but never came face to face with it. I have to add that Lara was wearing one of the coolest outfits I've ever seen her in. I enjoyed playing this but wished there had been less crawling and more puzzles." - RaiderGirl (21-Jun-2002)
"This is a fun level. Actually it's two levels (you can choose to play either Sophia Leigh or Lara) but they almost look the same so maybe it's only one level... I don't know. But anyway the level is not very difficult besides the 'flaming floor puzzle'. It's a short level (10-15 minutes) but it's fun to play like Sophia for a change!" - Magnus (21-Jun-2002)
"This is a rather sweet level where you can play either as Lara or Sophia. The Sophia character is extremely fond of her staff as she carries it everywhere which is rather amusing; as are the fun jumps between skyscrapers. I became very irritated with the random combustible floor and broke out in a cold sweat at the sight of two sets of Twin Towers on the distant skyline. This is an amusing level nonetheless and a great change from the usual formula." - Orbit Dream (21-Jun-2002)
"Well this are 2 levels but because they are very similar should be treated as one. A very nice idea to have two characters to choose from. This level is rather straightforward so you always know where to go next. You walk through the VCI-Mansion searching for the Isis Eye shooting some guards on your way (But why are the guards shooting at Sophia in her own house?). The only puzzle was the fire floor which was solved by trial and error. In all this level is a bit short but fun to play!" - LaraFan (21-Jun-2002)
