Even though The Great Emperor of Abydos is well-known for developing that city into what it is today, there have always been rumors about his cruelty and even dark magic powers. Apparently, there was a complex prison net underneath his great palace which he used to capture and torture his opposers. He died long ago, but there are still some strange things that keep happening in and around the palace. There is a belief that he kept part of his soul inside an artefact hidden somewhere inside the palace. Some terrorists have created an improvised entrance to it, with the idea to find the artefact and use its powers for themselves, while some of the old Emperor's followers are also searching for it to save it from intruders. Lara has to find and use the new palace entrance herself to check the rumors and search for the artefact, while avoiding the infamous underground prison. She has just reached the nearby temple...

Notes:
There are three possible endings based on the number of secrets, but they are not much different from each other.
Don't save/load while Lara is walking on a tight rope as it can mess things up.
There is one particular scene in the level which some players may find inappropriate and/or offensive. You will be informed about it in the game and you will have the opportunity to skip it without any consequences. My only goal through every level I've ever built has been to entertain you in funny, clever and sometimes shocking ways. I just want to make something unique and if I happen to cross some lines here and there, I never intended to offend anyone, especially not our beloved Lara Croft or any of my fellow raiders. If you decide to play through that particular area, don't forget - I gave you a choice and it was your decision and your curiosity. Still, if it ends up disturbing you in any way, I sincerely apologize.
