Level story: This level is the direct sequel to "Tomb Portal", the first chapter of the "Spell of Lust" series. After her previous expedition into the subterranean depths - navigating ancient temples and catacombs where she discovered a mysterious portal pulsating with an eerie energy - Lara's quest for the truth now moves to the heart of Venice. Years after discovering that enigmatic ceremonial chamber in the castle's depths, a fragment of truth resurfaces from the past. Lara Croft infiltrates Venice, navigating the misty canals and the decaying halls of the legendary Palazzo Dario - a place as renowned for its beauty as it is for its dark curse. The objective is to recover secret documents leaked from a recent historical study: texts that speak of an ancient Greek incantation capable of inhibiting the will and erasing memories. This spell was powered by an artifact lost in a shipwreck along with the family's last heir. As Lara moves stealthily beneath frescoed ceilings and through the palace's hidden passageways, the mission turns into a race against time. Deep within the patrician's private study, Lara comes face to face with the leader of Trinity. The paramilitary organization is already hunting this ancient power, but their leader's words reveal a critical flaw in their plan: Trinity knows what they are looking for, but they have yet to identify where the original sanctuary is hidden. While examining the chromatic descriptions and symbols within the Venetian documents, Lara has a flash of intuition. The colors of the described artifact perfectly match the motifs of the sealed portal she encountered years ago. The incantation is tied to a specific peninsula in the Mediterranean - the very same location where the castle from the first level stands. I have to get out of here before Trinity connects the dots." Spell of Lust story: In a lost peninsula in the Mediterranean, an ancient Greek city lies buried under the weight of time and sin. Here, luxuries and vices were fused with pagan rituals fueled by a powerful artifact. Its power survived empires, from the Romans to the Byzantines, and even Venice's Serenissima. The mystery vanished with the death of the Venetian patrician Alvise Dario, when the artifact was lost and the city fell into oblivion. Now, the wicked Trinity organization, led by the sinister Dr. Y, has uncovered the secret and wants to reactivate the spell for its own purposes. Lara embarks on a race against time to stop them. Her search will lead her to explore the mysterious Palazzo Ca' Dario in Venice, the ancient ruins and the castle on the peninsula. The hunt for Trinity will drag Lara into a global adventure, from the depths of the ocean to the snowy Alps, from modern skyscrapers to forgotten temples. Lara must overcome unexpected obstacles and relentless enemies to prevent this ancient power from falling into the wrong hands. |
