WARNING This level contains random jump scares with mild light effects! Play this level at your own risk! You can lessen the impact of these jump scares by turning down the music volume in the options menu. Story: August 1983 Young Lara Croft goes camping with a close student friend on the edge of a forest, near a remote British village. No one in the village speaks of the horrors supposedly lurking in the woods: a creature said to inhabit ruins, an abandoned farm, and a deserted church, and said to be hostile to humans. The villagers warn the young campers not to venture deep into the forest. But for the adventurous young Lara Croft, who doesn't believe in monsters, this is the perfect opportunity to uncover the truth behind this dark secret. Without her friend's knowledge, she sets off alone towards the forbidden place in the woods. There are 3 different Endings. Which one you unlock depends on which enemy you kill and/or how many secrets (letters) you find. This level is a remake and reimagining of my previously released level "Escaping the Werewolf". Tips: You will always have infinite flares, so don't be shy to use them. If you run out of silver bullets, you can return to the forge to obtain more as often as you like. If certain conditions are met, you should make sure you don't run out, as this can lead to a Game Over (no soft lock). Alongside: I originally wanted to release this level for Halloween, but I didn't want to wait half a year. Happy Halloween anyway!:) |
