Note: Package updated on May 31, 2026 TOMB RAIDER OLD is an experimental 2.5D side-scroller. The player moves along a traditional 2D plane, but certain segments introduce spatial transitions that shift the orientation of the gameplay. These transitions pivot Lara onto a new movement plane, perpendicular to the previous one. As a result, instead of being just a backdrop, depth becomes an actual playable space. The story revolves around the death of Winston, Lara Croft's butler, and the emotional journey she must go through to accept this loss. But sorry, just in French for now. **Key features:** - Multi Axis Side Scrolling 2,5D - 8 levels for about 3 hours of gameplay (ingame) - Saving only at the beginning of each level - Classic lives + checkpoint system - Challenging gameplay: every step forward must be earned V 1.2.0 (May 31, 2026) - Adding English version of the game (except for the voice acting, which remains in French with EN sub.) - Added the ability to load the previous checkpoint using the F10 key . (As requested by LoreRaider) (At the cost of one life. It's not out of pettiness, but technically I can't do otherwise.) - Fixed an issue where music was cut off when opening the diary or when Lara find heart (Following LoreRaider's technical advice, thanks again to you) - Fixed an issue where Lara could get stuck in Chapter 1. (reported by DavidDMRR) - Fixed an issue where Lara could get stuck in Chapter 2 in waterfalls and Glacier's place. (reported by DavidDMRR) - Save files are not compatible between different versions. If you started the game on a previous version and want to continue with this one, a “save” folder can be found at the root of the game, containing all the saves for each level start - Added a checkpoint in the middle of Act III of Chapter V – Part 2 (Suggested by Remrem) |
