South-America 2002, Highlands of Peru 1996 Lara Croft visited South America for the last time, now 6 years later, she has returned. Her intention was to visit her former archaeology-professor and friend who had joined her in the previous expedition. Upon her arrival she learns he has disappeared completely. But Lara can learn a lot form the aborigines, the professor was last seen up in the highlands by the old ruins. They tell her something about a lost empire, which was a few miles from Vilcabamba, a treasure of immensurable value should lie there. Buried and forgotten the empire of a very ancient and unexplored civilization lies hidden. Lara's friend was looking for that place his whole life, and apparently he has found it. And of course Lara packs her bags and sets out to explore the area. She finds a passage which was already cleared, the place where the professor must have disappeared. Barely has she stepped into the passage, she encounters some traps and is locked in. She finds out she has come to late, tomb raiders have found the ruins already. Lara can only find the professors dead corpse, his diaries, he always carried with him are gone. Who was done that? Tomb raiders, guards or some creatures? So many unanswered questions. Now Lara must find her way through this lost world, stay alive to solve the mystery. Lara is not te only one who has made it this far. She's not alone. Here the new adventure starts... |
