"If you looking for for a pool to swim in or to drop into from a height then i guess this is
"level" for you! there is 2 rooms for lara to "explore" in, one with the large pool and one
above where you have to climb large blocks to get to and then there is a hole either for you
to drop into or dive to the pool below that's it! Also if your one for bright, stretched and
patterned textures maybe give this one a look otherwise there really isn't much else of
interest here." - John (31-Aug-2023) |

"Can one be mad at a builder who builds something that fits the title? Nope, certainly not because...there is more to it! It has some kind of a huge disco lounge on top of it! Only, no flashing lights neither a glitter ball. Well, one thing's for sure, Tom Daley should not be afraid because Lara is no match for him as she only can perform one style of diving. The textures are definitely not my style but I had to give a point for some category, right?" - bERT (25-Dec-2022) |

"In an earlier review I strongly implied that I had reviewed all available swimming pool levels, but this one had somehow managed to fly under my radar. So, to remedy the situation, here goes.
The level consists of three roomboxes: the water room; the one above it, in which you start and which you may use to run up a flight of stairs; and the one stacked on top of the latter, which has a one-tile hole in its (wafer-thin) floor, through which you then can drop into the pool below; and that's it. There's nothing in here that identifies it as Lara's pool room specifically - the textures are random, mismatched and badly applied (but I concur with DJ Full regarding the textures on the ceiling of the room in the middle, which garner the level its sole point), and the same goes for the lighting (inasmuch as it exists at all).
The level is a stripped-down version of M@ster's Up and Down, demonstrating once more that in the race to the bottom of the list, there's no such thing as too little gameplay." - Mulf (15-Jun-2021) |

"Well the title really does give it away
doesn't it? I was going to say this is a
level I'd release as a joke turns out it is
under the joke category. But having
realised that the humour is gone. I prefer
it when the author isn't aware it's a
disaster. I would declare this level
something but there's nothing to declare.
Enjoy the big pool room raiders! 0/10" - Be Nolee (14-Jan-2021) |

"Nice textures but other than practicing your dive in the pike position with three forward rolls, there is no point to this one." - Torry (02-Jan-2020) |

"I'll give you some points for the textures. Other than
that Its Just a Pool. Nothing More To say." - JoeTheCrazyGamer (16-Dec-2019) |

"A level where you get to swim around a big pool all day and dive in from a great height, sounds pretty awesome...sadly that's all you can do, but I still managed to make full use of the facilities for an entire 3 minutes. Most of the textures are quite nice, kind of different patterns applied to the walls in diagnonal stripes, although downstairs is better than upstairs to be honest. No sound, objects, or anything else whatsoever. What I think would be cool would be a game where you had a lot of different coloured swimming pools suspended like floating islands from TR2 and you had to do a bunch of stuff to move between each one via tunnels etc." - sonnyd83 (13-Aug-2017) |

"A couple of pool square rooms with some nice but elongated textures in the walls. At least the author could place a finish trigger..." - Jose (07-Mar-2017) |

"The Title says it all. Nice textures though" - Mert (01-Feb-2017) |

"Here you can dive to the big pool from the
highest point or from any place as many
times as you want. It doesn't have a finish
trigger. The textures are nice." - alan (31-Jan-2017) |

"Aside from admiring the nice texturing, all you
can do here is ascend some stairs and dive
through the hole to splash back down in the
water below. Not much else really and no end
trigger." - Ryan (25-Dec-2016) |

"A very basic creation showing that the author has
discovered the TRLE for the first time. Created with not
much care. Shouldn't be submitted in the first place.
Better make 2-3 levels just for yourself and then maybe
submit the 4th or 5th level. Also, read the official manual
from the beginning till the end." - Gorty (09-Dec-2016) |

"This review is late because I was waiting for the walkthrough. I'm glad I did, because getting cleanly through that hole in the floor is a real bitch, if you'll pardon my frustration. I tried several times and always managed to bump the edge going down. Took me longer to write this than to reach the finish...oops, no finish trigger." - Phil (27-Nov-2016) |

"This was just too tempting to miss. From the initial question of the universe ("which script entry do I choose") through a psychedelic room looking totally like my early experiments, until the trampoline I used three times (normal dive and swan dive, the latter preceded with a wall hit fail), it all feels like if Coco got an apprentice - remember, there's always two of them... Even the loadscreen crash is somehow improved: not only I couldn't load the game from the level but also from the main menu - how is it even possible, it looks like a missing bit of my knowledge which might be actually genuinely important... One thing I liked from this game is the ceiling, a quite nice pattern - notw with such devotion to every element you just cannot avoid making a good level. But designing a fall to the water like this should allow the full scream sample, so I would make the upper room even higher. SUMMARY: The first gift. I already feel the Xmas coming..." - DJ Full (26-Nov-2016) |

"A pool, a huge staircase, a hole and then I am afraid it is up to you how you would land in the water." - Gerty (23-Nov-2016) |

"I had to ask myself... what was the joke here? Because uploading what might as well be someone's first test level, isn't exactly my idea of something to be proud of sharing with the general public.
Oh sure, this release has more activities available to do in it than Gotcha's infamous 'Lara in a Box' by default. But that doesn't make it worth downloading overall.
Sorry kiddo, but you've got to provide a lot more than surreal-looking texturing to win people over. So I hope you can take that into account for next time, as I'm sure you could potentially craft an interesting and no doubt genuinely entertaining experience, once you've learned to master more of the editor's inner workings." - Ceamonks890 (22-Nov-2016) |

"While the rating might seem harsh, I didn't dislike this
level. It was completely harmless and reminded me very
much of the first time I ever used Level Editor, as I
started by creating little cute test rooms exactly like
this. It's a way to get the creative juices flowing and I
can appreciate it.
The gameplay has a 2 because there is no gameplay beyond
swimming and jumping up blocks. However, there is some
good entertainment to be found from jumping through the
small hole in the top room and falling back down to the
pool.
There are literally no objects, enemies, secrets, sounds,
cameras, or lighting to speak of.
I do gotta admit though, the textures made me smile. They
were so cute and they flowed really well together.
Looking at the ceiling of the pool room, it seems some
actual real thought went into the texture placement
there.
Anyway, this is an extremely basic level, but harmless
nonetheless. Keep working towards bigger and better
projects! I'm rooting for you." - BHM Productions (22-Nov-2016) |

"Well, it got a mark for gameplay just because I always enjoy a high dive. Otherwise, there's nothing to do but admire the fun but frantic textures around the pool." - Jay (22-Nov-2016) |

"Another level which provides a reviewer the opportunity of
upping their tally without the need for expending much
effort.You can,if you wish,hang/drop from the ceiling;or
perform a swan dive without bashing Lara's head on the edge
of the hole;or just jump straight down before leaping up
the stairs and performing the whole futile thing again. The
upper room is lit well enough, but there's nothing else
deserving of comment.Once again, though,we're likely to be
in a position to witness a micro-level receive far more
feedback than many a deserving Masterpiece.Just watch those
reviews pile in!" - Orbit Dream (22-Nov-2016) |

"Aptly titled; all you get here is proof that the builder likes colorful, ornamental textures and has read enough of the manual to construct a proper water room. Not more, not less. Try to hit the hole in the ceiling with a proper swan dive to at least have a few seconds of fun..." - MichaelP (21-Nov-2016) |

"This level is a pool level - never would've guessed that myself... perhaps most seems like a joke level - I really hoped that this is a real joke level as some of them are rather enjoyable even when short, but there isn't anything remotely humorous in this level. it has no enemies, no items, no puzzles... - but what is its point then? just dive and enjoy it! - no. I'm not that humble. Hope you like the textures! - this builder obviously knows that none of the other categories are polished enough to earn points. Indeed the colourful textures are interesting to look at for about... a few seconds..., but they are placed very rudimentarily and combined with one room with horribly flat lighting and another with weird lighting so that it all relativizes even on that low level. In short, this is simply something that nobody ever needs to play and as so many other levels should've stayed on the builder's hard drive as a first (?) try." - manarch2 (21-Nov-2016) |
