| Reviewer's comments |
"I found this to be an adventure just for my likings. Engaging and varied gameplay, a decent
amount of challenge but not enough to get frustrating, and surroundings that are pleasing to
the eye throughout. The timed runs were perhaps a bit on the tight side (although I never
needed more than three attempts to make them successfully), the backtracking was a tad
arduous (but nothing extremely annoying) and the builder was a bit stingy with ammo pickups
but that's about as far as my criticism goes. I particularly enjoyed the pedestal/compass
puzzle, the element puzzle and the sequence that required you to complete a mosaic and
thence open up your path further. The final battle royale was quite the adrenaline rush too,
but not too difficult to overcome. Recommended." - Ryan (02-May-2026) |

"I enjoyed playing this one. It's tricky to get going with some elements not at all obvious. Places which can only be accessed (or exited from) by one route which, until you find the route, leave you somewhat trapped!
In the second main area, I did find the sundial a little confusing. You find cogs/handles which will turn the dial, and I did this once, registering that the sundial then turned. But then I assumed (always dangerous) that you needed to use the mechanisms to set the dial to a specific position, and that I hadn't yet found the clue as to which position that was ... so the next cog thing I found I didn't use it ... waiting for that clue. Then completely by accident I realised you can only use each cog mechanism once ... and that I should have been turning them as I found them (especially as some are beyond tricky timed runs to get to) and I had to backtrack and re-find them all! There's also no clue as to how many of these there are so, again assuming that there might be a cutaway of some sort when you finish, you just have to keep searching!
The end boss fight was way too hard for me. I just couldn't complete it. Too many iterations of the same hard-to-kill sword knights and men with machine guns which you cannot easily target to knock out first, and not enough more powerful ammo to deal with them all. Ah well ..." - David (01-May-2026) |

"Lara is on a quest to recover a sphere, and to unlock the path to it she will need to search the town for 8 or so switches that will rotate the giant sundial acting as a lock. To reach these switches, Lara must overcome several timed runs, puzzles, and mow down an enemy here and there for good measure. It's the recipe for a satisfying raid.
Pros
- Nice variety of puzzles, from moving statues around to using switches to complete a mozaic in the floor.
- Several timed runs, which can be quite challenging, but nothing that took me more than 2 or 3 attempts.
- A good amount of combat which culminates in a final battle arena once Lara goes to grab her prize.
- The town is decorated well and quite immersive.
Cons
- If the player misses something in a secluded area, it could lead to backtracking; not a huge amount, but some jump sequences may be repeated several times in the process.
Time: 1 hour 7 minutes | Difficulty: Hard | Rating: 9.25/10 - Excellent" - JesseG (28-Apr-2026) |

"This level had everything . puzzles , parkour , waterskins , element scales , time runs and little shooting . Decent level for a short raid , good effort with care , nothing that it will remain inside my memories though . After kaizo levels this was a walk in the park .
I didnt get bored and the exploration was pleasant . Kingluis didnt dissapoint once more . 3/3 secrets" - Petaludas (17-Apr-2026) |

"With an entire map being a big puzzle, it has some strong Back to Basics vibe, but it's also very personally touched - and rooted in the familiar, so you will like it. The crowbar puzzle might a beginner stuck a bit, so play when thinking of yourself as pre-intermediate. And make sure you know some time save moves, as timed runs are tight yet fair if you do. When the construction site is unlocked, I'd add a shortcut to it, because I ended up climbing the one-way route four times till it felt so weird I doubted if it's the right way - even though it was the only one. And I found one super easy way to get out of bounds which can even drop you into a quitless pit, so tl;dr if you're a builder, watch my VOD as always, for they are better than any review I type here." - DJ Full (16-Apr-2026) |

"One of the best levels this month. The game's plot is well-constructed around the operation of a machine that allows the sundial to move along a central axis. Lara uses her ability to jump backwards while hanging to reach roofs and from there proceed to wall levers and other items. The three secrets aren't difficult, except for one that requires you to guess where it's hidden. Using the crowbar, we manage to grab a tile that we then need to reach an hourglass mechanism. It's also possible to bypass the spikes with a well-timed pass at full health. Perhaps in a new version, the author could include a lowering block instead of the spikes. The puzzle of the three elements—water, earth, and fire—used in the underground room is excellent, and the use of a Toro API if you get the amount of water on the scale wrong is surprising. The finale involves a second timed race, which is challenging but not impossible. On the way back, we reach a location with a final battle and the reward of the Armillary Sphere. Highly recommended. Nice work LOTRKingluis." - Roberto (13-Apr-2026) |

"The scenery and textures are absolutely stunning, yet a bit complex. The puzzle objective is
fairly straightforward—you just need to rotate the marked discs—but finding where to do
this is no easy task. I, for one, got completely disoriented. The music also draws you fully
into the game, making it hard to pull away. Enemies are relatively easy; there’s no final
boss either. Aside from their numbers being a bit high, they’re still simple to deal with." - cheng (11-Apr-2026) |

"I liked this level right from the start. A very nicely designed place where you first have to find some switches to open the gate to the rest of the area. From that point on, however, everything got a bit confusing for me. You have to find several crank switches to open an underwater gate so that Lara can face the final boss. The search for these crank switches was somewhat tedious for me. I don’t know if I just kept choosing the wrong path, but it involved a lot of back and forth with many backtracks. You have to find various items, use them, and solve puzzles to find these crank switches or to open the way to them.
Two rather tight timeruns complete everything. It’s advisable to walk the route beforehand to see how it continues.
Still, a successful game that I really liked despite everything.
Highly recommended, but with caution." - nad (11-Apr-2026) |
